"What would my heavy metal song be called?"
"Jackass"
"Can I hear some of the lyrics?"
"You are a jackass"
😂😂😂
Yup best part of the video 🤣🤣
Bruh just kept digging his grave 🤣
it's funny how similar it turned out to the sex pistols interview way back when the interviewer asks for some words about him or sth, another loudwire clip actually
It adds to injury when it's coming from THE CLOWN
Dude from Happy Gilmore would be the cover art....ya jackass xD
"This mask is nothing without me."
That's some Batman villain shit right there
Clown's a badass
literally just read it as Clown said it. Golden.
“It’s not who he is underneath, it’s what he does, that defines him”

He is nothing without the mask
@@mirednomad GTF outta here.
Corey has always been so nice and kind in those type of interviews. He seems like a badass (and he is), but he is also actually kind.
Well, the ultimate badassery is kindness tbf. So that tracks.
That's how alphas act. He doesn't need to strut and make a big deal. He knows who he is.
he sings the Spongebob Squarepants song for shits and giggles. that's both badass and kind in one performance in my book.
The Taylor foundation says it all. Not only because I'm a fan of his music, but because it convinced me, I donated as soon as I learned about it.
It's because he wants people to take metal seriously and realize it's just another art form like any other genre of music.
Imagine if he came in aggressive and argumentative, that would just close people off and they'd think "another angry metal asshole". He knows what he's doing and he knows what people expect.
I hate how nobody sees what they're really trying to do. Everybody always comments about how they want to see what they look like or how they act without the mask or jumpsuits but I think Clown said it best, "The mask is nothing without me."
@@MFKR696 Well said.
What are they trying to do though? What are they trying to achieve by dressing up? I don't understand its purpose.

Thats what the joke was about you brain

‘Are ya?’
The way he says that gets me every fucking time 😂

can’t like your comment cause it’s at 666 LOL. consider this my like
The way he glances over at Paul too. The masks make moments like this even better lol
Corey Taylor is pure class. Intelligent, articulate and generally a classy dude.
And handsome
I appreciate slipknot because they helped my little brother feel understood when he was sufferinh with his mental illness and eccentricities. He unfortunately passed away from an OD last month but i will always be appreciative of this band for giving him some peace
Can I impregnate you a sith and seventh time?
May your brother rest in peace and I'm glad at least he found a way to not feel so alone.
Sorry to hear about your brother. May be Rest In Peace
Have no idea how you’re doing now but my little brother passed away from an OD 7-years ago and it does get better. Day by day, it does get better.
Seen them twice, I hope they see this comment because their lyrics are massively profound and relatable to the likes of your son, im 43 on Saturday and I would fight King Kong to go see them for a 3rd time like I did with prodigy 3 times live, once in Serbia and it was the best night of my life. Your son was obviously a treasure and a thoughtful person, just remember that and I implore you to listen and not hear the greatest 18 legged metal monster that is the great "SLIPKNOT ". r.i.p to our brother, from the 🇬🇧 uk. dude was just trying to have fun damn :/
That was a really dumb question tbh... the dude is in front of the band nominated for "best metal band of the year" and he asks if he wants to beat up Ronald Mcdonald like come on man
... ask them about their music
Corey is one of the most articulate and well spoken musicians I've seen. Very intelligent and knows his audience.
People act like it’s easy to play a guitar and write music. These musicians have mastered their craft with passion and precision. On top of that they created their own style. They aren’t idiots.
That’s the issue with rock it’s always bein looked at as a negative thing or a thing for stupid people it is heavy and some cases of it is evil but it’s so much more then that it’s a sad thing that metal is continued to be viewed as negative or satanic
I can't even write an EP because even though i am a guitarist, I can't make up alot of idea.
Seriously I've been playing for over 12 years and I'm good, but I don't think I'm great. A lot of musicians think this way, make you a better player & writer in the end.
Pop stars are the real idiots
guitar aint ez
Damn they sure have had their dose of stupid questions.
and they always had the best answers ^^
Very true. The LArry King interview is a good one. Larry is such a great interviewer and genuinely want to learn and he wants to know your side. He is open minded and never judges the guests. Watching Larry and Corey talk is so cool. Larry explains he loves Frank and tells Corey that the question isn't ignorant just inquisitive.
@@TripleTSingt shaun tries to outsmart them, but they just do not care
Jackasses questions were the best
Can't fault them. They're mainstream journalists, they're never going to do as well as niche journalists because they have to cover a wider breadth of subjects.
Clown is the calm voice of rage. Love it.
''This mask is nothing without me'' has to be one of the strongest lines ever pronounced by any being
Doesn't that apply to all of us when we all wear masks out there in public? We all wear masks.

They're a bunch of good human beings....sit down with them at a Perkins restaurant after a show with their masks off & nobody else the wiser(especially journalists) and they are just like regular gentleman-with talent.
Sometimes I'm an idiot and forget other people dont have the same music taste as me
You're missing out. Their music is exactly what it says it is, brutal and honest.

I hate that "is it music?" question. Might as well ask "this thing you do to express yourself, is it pointless?"
such a dumbass question like it is OBJECTIVELY music, better or worse is another convo but there's really no doubt about it
Larry has to ask the questions because of his fan base which is mostly older folks and show them that metal musicians have class and substance. Yiu got a bunch of white Republicans watching him, if he doesn't ask these questions then those people may never get to actually know what slipknot is about. 1:44 THANK YOU SO MUCH. This is exactly what I've been always saying. Is not the artist job to educate your kids. They already doing their job that is creating music.
If you know how the music is and still allowed your kid knowing damn well that the music perfectly can be for adult audience is on you. If you don't sit down and talk with your kid about it is on you.
He nailed it when he said if it makes you feel something then it’s music. I don’t think music makes anyone do anything. I think it resonates with whatever already exists. I get in dark moods sometimes. Sometimes, I can lift my mood with more upbeat stuff, sometimes, I need to listen to something darker that expresses it and wallow for awhile to release it. Either way, the music helps and doesn’t make it worse.
I love Clown and how brutally honest he is...
"What pisses you off?"
"You".....amazing
I wonder what it was that made him angry tho ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@Drake Barnes Makes sense, thank you
@Drake Barnes mick*
@Drake Barnes oh some of them still have issues with each other, it's just not talked about and they don't hang out with the ones they can't stand unless they absolutely have too. Like how a family is that has bad blood, you show up to functions, do the necessary things, then go back to your regular life until the next one. I know Shaun caused many issues and still does with how he acts and talks
I really like Clown but back then he was acting like a jerk though. He seemed angry and hateful from the go in some of these clips
I’m of the mindset that the Larry King interview wasn’t Corey “schooling” Larry. They found something in common, and Corey found a way to explain it. Every other interview in this video was justified, though
You should watch Larry more to see how reactionary he is about everything, especially our generation's art forms.
@@wren4077 well see that’s the thing. Different generations equals different mindsets. When someone younger than Larry Kings starts connecting with him through something like Sinatra, the lightbulb in Larry’s head goes “alright, this guy seems educated.” He’s also stated that when he asks questions quicker than normal, it’s because he’s interested in you, and that’s the ultimate in
@@HeyItsEddie5 idk i would be okay with it if it was my grandpa. But being an interviewer/host it would help Larry to be more open about things.

Dude.... literally CLOWN from slipknot said “it’s the parents” when it comes to video games topic 😹😹😹😹😹
It’s true though
as a parent, it cant be denied
This needs to be highlighted more often by people especially people with strong influence like him. I mean, it will always be the parents, talk to your damn kids people!
A lot of parents dont pay attention to their kids or talk to them.
It's also worth noting that countries with far fewer shootings also play violent video games and listen to "violent" music, so it's pretty obviously not a factor in why there are so many shootings in the USA. Norway has one of the biggest metal scenes in the world, and yet we've so far only had two shootings since World War II.
I'm not the biggest Slipknot fan in the world but when I saw them for the Tattoo the Earth tour opening for Metallica in the year 2000 at the Meadowlands stadium I knew they were going to have a lot of potential. I always had great respect for their drummer when he covered Frost from Satyricon in US tours when he was banned from entering the country.
I have nothing but love for this band ❤
This is what is impressive about Corey.
His knowledge about music in general is amazing. He is not the typical shortsighted metal head. Corey is a student of the fine. I was not a fan of slipknot in the late 90s like many metal fans, and then I listened to him and he walked me through his music, and I got it. Love the man
Why does the “typical” metal head have to be short-sighted?? I don’t understand that stereotype.
