His grandma seemed like such a legend as well.
I cant tell you how much Corey and Slipknot have helped me during my battle with depression. To hear his struggles early on then to turn his life around to help others sums up, what a hero he is. The greatest people are not perfect, they're the people who have been through the worst and made it out the other side.

This is also somewhat true for myself. I had depression to varying degrees between 12-17 or so, and while listening to all this heavy metal music and whatnot didn’t cure that (It was fixing my own life that solved the problem eventually) it made a lot of my depression much easier to handle for years. Sounds kinda weird given how non-positive much of the lyrical content is, but Slipknot, Linkin Park, 3DG, Disturbed, etc all helped ease a lot of the chaos in those days

He’s honestly amazing to see in person. His interaction with the crowd is amazing and his love for his fans and all people is amazing. He’s overall just a great person
I appreciate how much Corey contributes to the interview. Most guests on this segment just answer the questions with brief responses and maybe just a little backstory, but Corey is going in depth and is very open to talking about some difficult topics.

And anyway, you don’t know what situation a person is in. A lot of people try to cover up the darkness in their lives with humor. To be honest, some people don’t even know how to react to an interview. Part of the reason it was brought up in the comments is because it was brought up in the interview, when Corey points to his neck in reply to a question. Please be more considerate about what you say.

heard slipknots self titled as a 9 year old 22 years ago, which kicked off my obsession for music and especially metal.... after thousands of other albums and having changed taste in metal quite a bit i still go back to this band and taylor as an inspiration, remarkable man

Corey is a really good sport about answering those really uncomfortable questions, relating to his drug habits and suicide attempt etc. which is something that can be really awkward in interviews. Also its awesome how Faith No More had such an influence on his life.
