6,999 likes for LILO AND STITCH 2?!
❤❤❤
Jurassic Park 2 please
STITCH HAS A GLITCH IS MY CHILDHOOOOOD
Don't do it, PLEASE don't do it! It will ruin your love for the perfect original!!
My favorite Lilo and Stitch is the original series originally on Disney channel, would you watch a series PLEASE Seb?! 😊🩷
Something to notice is that at the beginning, Lilo says she feeds Pudge because he controls the weather and later it is revealed that her parents died in a car accident due to bad weather so it is pretty much theorized that Lilo feeds Pudge the Fish because she doesn't want the weather to go bad and have anyone else go through what her family went through.
Love the reaction as always, Seb.
There's a few things to that story you're missing.
1) Lilo and her parents started feeding Pudge a peanut butter sandwich every "Tuesday".
2) One day, they forgot to feed him. They went for a drive and died in a crash.
Nah pudge the villain
I think I was somewhere that they confirmed it in a deleted scene
@@youngbeauty6591😭😭
😭 THATS SO SAD!😭
Nanis story gets even sadder when you realize she was on track to be a professional surfer, as demonstrated by all the medals in her room and her skill on the beach.
ow that hurts, jeez man
I didn’t know ow that. People have to give up on their dreams for their siblings.
@@videohistory722 it was worth it, she is now part of the intergalactic federation
Lilo being an Elvis fan actually makes sense since Elvis had one of his beiggest (if not the biggest) concert in Hawaii. It was the first live international concert presented via satellite, so it was very impactful, historic... so it's very sweet that they added that to her story
Elvis also starred in I think 2-3 movies that were filmed in Hawaii. In one he sings Aloha Oe with a few Hawaiian actors, of which that song is in this movie.
Yep Elvis is big here, especially amongst the older generation. There's even a statue of him in Waikiki and it always has fresh leis around it
Fun fact: "LILO in Hawaiian means "Lost" and "STITCH" means to "put back together". When you read the movie title, it literally says "LOST AND PUT BACK TOGETHER" like how Lilo and Stitch were after they met each other 🌺
Stitch is not a hawaiian word? perhaps you meant pidgin?
@@noelxlk stitch is not a Hawaiian word. She's just trying to make sense of the title that the animators have cleverly come up with. Lilo (lost) and stitch (to put back together). Make sense?
No one expects this film to be as emotional as it is.
Yes there were so many lines / scenes that really got me, and that's rare for a movie to do to me!
The fact that Lilo fed the fish to control the weather, so that it would never rain again like it did when her parents died, always melts my heart. This is one of my favorites movies❤
I believe it was just that she forgot to feed Pudge the week her parents died and she sees them as connected somehow.
@@JohtoJordan Yes, you're right, but it's still very cute and heartbreaking that she feeds Pudge to control the weather, I believe, she also does it so that there isn't another storm like the one there was when her parents died.
Me too.
David is actually the best Disney boy. Hot, caring, patient, understanding, sure of himself, fit, happy go lucky… absolute dream.
I will never not cry during this movie. When I saw this I had recently gone through the same situation that Nani did. Except I had lost my younger brother and he was sent to live with his foster parents. I was only in my early 20’s myself & couldn’t afford to take care of the both of us but it still broke me. This movie helped me heal. And even more, it helped me embrace this new family. My brother’s foster parents were so loving, they gave him a life I couldn’t and they embraced me being in their lives as well. To this day they are still our family
That is awesome!
That’s amazing 😁
Wow...😢❤
As an adoptee, I can feel the emotion behind this film. This film and "Meet the Robinsons" are tear-jerkers for me. BTW, Seb, you do a great Stitch
both of those movies are seriously meaningful to me. I had to create my own family cause the family I was born in to sucks. Them two and Matilda are pure comfort for me!
@@supergeeky7529 I am sorry to hear that, But I hope you found happiness in the end. Family is not always those we are surrounded by but those we take to our hearts and love. Yeah, sort of paraphrasing Ms. Doubtfire, Another tear-jerker in the end.
his reaction to the lifeguard was priceless 😭
and yes, Nani and David are couple goals!
Fun little fact, after hearing that stitch was hit by a truck and they thought he was dead, Lilo wants stitch even more, probably because she doesn’t want to lose anyone like her parents so hearing that he was basically indestructible is perfect for lilo.
Also i never understood how Mertyl was the bully, like girl you’re some four eyed red headed non native in Hawaii and you think you run shit?? insane😂
i just love this movie so much, i can quote the entire movie lol
BRO YOUR STITCH IMPRESSION IS AMAZING‼️‼️‼️
Heartbreaking fact: the song nani sings to lilo, aloha oe, was written by the last queen of hawaii and was said to be sung by her as an apology to her people when she abdicated control of hawaii to the united states. Singing it to lilo was nani apologizing to lilo for not being good enough or fighting hard enough for her
Well just make me cry why don't you 😢
I’m convinced you’ve never watched any films in your childhood 😂
Seriously tho 😂
I can name a bunch of the supposed best movies from the 90s to 2012 that I've never seen . I was picky as a kid and I was a kid so all I cared about was going outside and playing with my friends and I was a skater so we always were at the park I really didn't start watching movies till my 20s like actually watching them.
@@CaliGrown916 fairs
My childhood movie was a goofy movie (that’s literally the name)
I haven’t watched alot of “childhood classics”. I always thought they were lame because my dad didn’t want to watch them lol
Wow, I think this is the first reaction I've seen where it's actually using the version of the film with Lilo hiding in a Dryer instead of behind the lid of a pizza box! Interesting to see that both versions can be found in streaming.
Oops, I commented about it too, didnt see that you beat me to it. Lol. I was like omg he's got the dryer version!
Nani singing to Lilo Aloha ‘Oe thinking this was their last moments together is one of the most beautiful and saddest scenes! I cry ever time I see it!
Another thing I never noticed until someone pointed it out:
Lilo says she likes Stitch AFTER finding out Stitch survived getting hit by a truck. She thinks he won't leave like their parents did.
He DEFINITELY hits the criteria of "sturdy" lol
My top favorite Disney animated film (if you don't count Pixar, which I don't, that's a separate list), and I always get excited to see it get more reactions, analysis, and love.
Lilo's entire speech of: "Our family's little now, and we don't have many toys. But if you want, you could be part of it. You could be our baby, and we'd raise you to be good. 'Ohana' means family. 'Family' means nobody gets left behind. But if you want to leave, you can. I'll remember you, though. I remember everyone that leaves."? Makes me cry my eyes out every damn time, and I have seen the film...MANY times.
And how she is talking about how she knows why Stitch wrecks things and pushes her, but the reason she knows is because thats why she is acting out too with her sister. Best speech and so well written.
"Why'd a duck just make me tear up?"
Because it wasn't the duck that made you tear up. It's what the duck symbolized in that scene that made you tear up.
My version of the answer would be, "Because Disney's just REALLY good at DOING that" lol :D
Ok but the commercials to advertise this movie before it came out were incredible. There were classic Disney movie scenes being completely trashed by stitch and they were hilarious.
Saw Lilo & Stitch in theaters and I cried a little too.
I saw a lot of myself in Stitch. And at the time I had a miniature schnauzer, and he looked so much like Stitch, especially when he was on all fours. Basically, the only difference was my dog had salt and pepper hair, whereas Stitch's whatever is dark and light blue.
This movie is my comfort film. It always makes me reminisce my childhood when classes are suspended because of heavy rains so I would just stay at home, and my mom would cook me a warm breakfast and I get to watch TV and turn on the disney channel and this movie comes up. Great times 💗💗💗
What state or country did you live in? I know my school didn’t care if they’re was heavy rains we’d stay at school (unless it was hurricane weather, we had to stay home in that case), I live in Florida btw
@@rocky.rocks1445 i live in the Philippines so it's pretty common to have school suspensions here since we get 18-20 typhoons per year here.

Even though SebScreen didn't want to be emotional today ,

8:09 looks like you got the version with the dryer, in later releases this was changed to a table with an open gap and a pizza box because they didn’t wanna give children the idea of hiding in dryers.
im 25 years old and STILL sobbing to this movie. my heart couldn't take it as a kid and it still can't all these years later
Same here 😭😭😭 I started crying just hearing that opening song. Definitely a comfort movie 🥺😭
I didn't even see this one until recently when I was around 30 years old, and it got me right away, and that's rare for a movie to do to me!
This movie has so much heart and culture. Stitch is the best.
I always connected with Stitch, as my birthday is June 26th (6-26). Like Stitch, because I wasn't properly diagnosed with autism until after my 48th birthday (I'm 52 now), I was called weird and didn't make friends easy. I now know that I had episodes of an "autism meltdown" (autism being a mental health issue where the main problem is how we try to communicate with others), I was misunderstood because I could get destructive (never got into a physical altercation, but when I would have these meltdowns, I would throw things as hard as I could). I met my dear friend Marialani (who was born and raised in Hawai'i back in 1995 and we connected for some strange reason. Probably because she absolutely loved gay men and I am gay but she was the first person I ever opened up to that accepted me for all my quirks. She taught me the meaning of "Ohana" ... After not seeing her for nearly 20 years and through fate, she had been living and working the Northern Virginia area for years (around Washington DC; I live in Baltimore, Maryland) and surprised me with a visit on my 51st birthday. We affectionately now call ourselves "Lilo & Stitch"
That’s so cute and I can relate as I’m still currently undiagnosed with Autism as an almost 30 year old and my 20 year old sister’s birthday is also June 26 and she’s always related to Stitch too😊🩷
@16taysia thank you for sharing your story! You just made me smile and I know you had no idea how much I need to smile today. Please have a great day knowing you helped a complete stranger turn their day around more than you could know. xo
What a beautiful but also sad story. I‘m sorry you had to go through all of this and i‘m happy you connect so well with this movie and the characters. I hope you live a great luve now. :)
Seb Deserves all the support best reaction channel i've come across, not putting on an act or over reaction just a man being himself and watching these classic movies
Lilo & Stitch actually came out on my exact birthday! June 7, 2002. My family got it on DVD when it came out and it was a big staple in my home. Let's just say Lilo influenced me a LOT. I ended up making a voodoo doll of this girl I hated and shook it up in a jar like Lilo did LMAOO. I'm 21 now. Don't regret it, she had it coming.
22 Now! Still don't regret it. She definitely had it coming.
Turns out there’s a reason she takes pictures of all those tourists- there was a deleted scene. What a bunch of tourist being rather rude towards her and taking pictures of her like she was a prop so she does it back to them.
Or at least that’s what I’ve heard.
I heard it was because after losing her parents she struggled with the idea of people leaving, so take takes photos to remember them/keep them around.
@@JohtoJordan personally i like this theory better than the original intent. also i'd rather think of lilo doing it for a positive reason, like she thinks the tourists look so happy in those moments she captures and she finds that beautiful, rather than just to bodyshame tourists because some were rude to her once or something.
@@MonAhgasInsomniAroELF I kind of think it's a mix of both ideas.
@@MonAhgasInsomniAroELF its not that some tourist were just "rude" to her but as a native Hawaiian she's being viewed as some "exotic" creature like she's on display that's why she does it back to them.
@@anelar2856 i used the word "rude" because it was the word the OP of this thread used when referring to that scene. and anyway what exactly is your point? that fatphobia is okay because some idiots are racist? because as you probably noticed, lilo only takes pictures of the fat tourists. obviously what the tourists in the deleted scene did was _not_ okay, but doing the same (or the equivalent) back makes you no better, especially when you're targeting innocent parties who had nothing to do with it and are just trying to enjoy their vacation. not a good message for a disney movie, and not good philosophy in general.
as i said, i'm glad they changed it so that it makes it seem like she just has an odd, but otherwise harmless fascination. it makes lilo more sympathetic. fatphobia is a huge problem, and it's always disappointing to see fat people dehumanized and treated like a joke in media. by cutting that scene, it only made it seem like lilo genuinely thought they were beautiful, which is so much better than what was originally intended. as this was a child's movie, one serious topic is enough, and they were already dealing with 2 (family and loss). throwing one scene about racism in would be extremely out of place.
anyway, that scene was deleted and therefore is not canon. so i'm going to go ahead and believe lilo's intent comes from a place of positivity.
The climax of the movie was changed:
Originally, it was going to have Stitch, Jamba and Pleekly hijacking a 747 in order to rescue Lilo, and in one instant, the plane almost crashed into a hotel. This was scrapped due to 9/11 Terrorist Attacks.
These theories are ridiculous where is your proof
@@sarasweightlossjourney1432there's actually footage of the unedited scene with the commercial plane. Why do you think Jimba's ship looks so much like a plane with turbines and everything?
I admit I put this movie on repeat while working from home recently. I didn’t grow up watching it, only bits and pieces on TV when we had cable, got a bit obsessed and watched all the movies and some of the series episodes. It’s so sad and cute I couldn’t help myself.
True about this movie being sad and happy and cute
*grave of the fireflies* everyone let's get Seb to watch this masterpiece
Ok but, your Stitch voice is on point 😮
"Stitch is the Vin Diesel of disney, is he says family..." You mean Ohana?
One of my favorite movies Period❤Pudge the fish is an underrated icon
Something that was mostly taken out of the movie is the pseudo colonization Hawaii wend under becoming a tourist destination. Lilo messes with tourists and is at the same time fascinated by them, hence the pictures of tourists on her wall. I'd highly recommend looking up some of the deleted scenes.
This was written and directed by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois, based on a story by Sanders. You've also watched another movie they wrote and directed together: How to Train Your Dragon. Sanders also cowrite and codirected the first Croods movie. DeBlois wrote and directed the 2nd and 3rd HTTYD movies.
Seb does the best Stitch impression! Love it ❤
Oh gosh yes to Seb's Stitch impression, lol. When he first did it, I was looking away from the scene for a second and the unfamiliar timing of hearing Stitch's voice made me go "What the-?" LOL.
Why is Pudge the fish important?
Because of this, Lilo has come to the conclusion that Pudge the fish controls the weather-as he is a fish in water and rain comes from the water- and gives him peanut butter sandwiches so no other kid has to go through what she did. She is cooping with the loss of her dead parents. And this is her only way of being able to express her feelings about this. I read somewhere that she blames herself because on the day she didn't feed him, the storm happened, and her parents died. So, this is why she thinks Pudge the fish controls the weather and it's a sad tale yes. But she has a lot to deal with being a 7-year-old who's being raised by a teenage sister. Lilo is also heavily damaged herself. She suffers from abandoned child syndrome which is a common illness among children who have lost their parents. She also has a behavioral disorder called intermittent explosive disorder in which she often has outbursts of anger and usually takes it out on her classmates violently. I wanted to share this with you.
I can't remember how i discovered this film but the quality of the art style and the attention to detail blew me away. The music didn't hurt either and i soon bought the soundtrack. Best Disney film in years at that point.
There were some good adverts for it too where he caused chaos in clips from past Disney movies.
Those adds were crap
I will always laugh when pleakly thinks all the mosquitos like him and he just gets the worst bites of history 😂😂😂
I've always loved Lilo since she does things in her own unique way just like me ☺💕. Also I love your Stitch impression 🤣💙

The scene with the spaceship chase through the city was actually redone after the movie was already made.
Originally they hijack a plane and chase down Gantu though the city.
They changed it because it involved the plane crashing into a building.
Right before it was set to be released in theaters, 9/11 happened, and they made the executive decision to delay the release in theaters to reanimate it so now its just a spaceship that LOOKS like a plane.
my comfort movie (: stitch hs been my favorite since 2002
This film never fails to make me cry so much as I can relate to Lilo( as she finds it hard to make friends and her one true friend is her dog). As an adult it really hits you so much.
Hey Seb! If you do decide to watch the sequels just bare in mind that's there's 3 more, which are Stich: The Movie, Lilo and Sitch 2, and finally Leroy and Sitch. I'd recommend watching them in release date order but just so you know Stich: The Movie is a prelude to the TV show.

this movie is so emotional on so many different levels.
Lilo: Don’t leave me, ok.
Stitch: Ok.
That line always hits me in the heart.
25:16 Your not going to believe the answer to this question But the Voice of Stitch’s name is Chris Sanders and He Not Only Was the Voice of Stitch but The Creator of “Lilo and Stitch” (the idea *And Eventually the story too with some help he got the story off the ground.* oh BTW. *The story was originally supposed to be a Children’s Book instead of a Movie but Chris Sanders dropped the idea and it never happened, But when he was approached by a Disney Executive/Ceo at the Recording/Art Studio for Mulan Which he worked as an Animator at asking if he wanted to make a movie and be the director for that movie he came back to it.* and the art) and Co-Director of Lilo and Stitch.
First movie I went to 3 times in theaters. As a kid I thought it was the most fun, as an adult I'm a grown man bawling at my computer every time I watch it.
Also yes between the lifeguard and Nani, Disney did us dirty as children.
20:16 "It was rainy, and they went for a drive." That's why Lilo feeds Pudge the Fish. She says she believes he controls the weather, and in a cut backstory bit, she had forgotten to feed Pudge not too long before her parents got in that car accident during the rain. She feeds Pudge so no one else loses their parents due to bad weather like she did.
Ritualistic behavior like this (feeding a specific fish once a week) also helps kids who are grieving, as well as kids who are on the Autism Spectrum; Lilo is heavily Autism-coded and people who are on the Spectrum like me tend to identify with her. My childhood was very much like hers (it's always been just me and my mom.)
I even have a dog who behaves a lot like Stitch, and whose backstory is similar to Stitch's because he was a stray who had to fight other dogs much bigger than him, every day, before we adopted him. It's taken a LOT of training but he's very sweet now (most of the time.) He realized he likes cuddles and snacks much more than living outside.
One of my fav reactions of all!! Laughed so hard 😂
Wait I’m so excited for this!!!
Lilo and Stitch are icons in Autism community. Love them both ❤

always ready and willing to watch a new seb reaction! :D
I need to see you watch the others. There's Stitch! The Movie and Lilo and Stitch 2 and if you WANT there is also Leroy and Stitch.
25:59 Originally, Jumba's and Gantu's ships were going to fly between city buildings, but then 9/11 occurred during production. The animators changed the scene to happen in the mountains because they didn't want to show flying aircraft crashing into buildings right after such a catastrophe in the real world.
a couple of fun facts!
- this movie has more elvis songs than any movie elvis was actually in
- the scene near the end with the spaceship chase was originally stitch & co. hijacking a plane and flying it through a city. it was almost finished, but then… 9/11 happened. and obviously disney went “oh crap. we CANNOT release a movie next year where the protagonists hijack a plane 😨” so they had to reanimate the whole thing. and that’s why that red spaceship is shaped like a plane! it was the plane model reworked for the new scene. i used to have a 2 disc dvd of this movie as a kid which for some reason still had a screenshot on the back of the case of stitch jumpscaring some airline pilots in a cockpit even though that scene wasn’t in the movie. i don’t know if it was even in the deleted scenes. 😂
- the creator of the concept of this movie (who is also the voice of stitch) also had a hand in directing or character designing or something for toothless in how to train your dragon, and once you know that i think it’s hard to unsee the similarities between stitch & toothless 😂
This is my favorite Disney film! I named my dog after Stitch when I was 6, he’s still kicking!
24:26 Stitch can't go through solids, but canonically, he has a flexible skeleton. Which is why he can tuck into a ball and roll around the way he does. He just smooshed through the tiny crack between the glass and the metal seal, like an octopus since octopi have no bones and can fit through any hole as long as their beak can fit through it.
2:14 - Stitch - "Meega nala kweesta!"
Seb - "I didn't even understand a single word he just said."
Me - A vulgar way to say "I want to kill/destroy."
Meega - I
Nala - want to
Kweesta - kill/destroy
〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️
10:05 - Tantalog.
10:09 - Jumba (the one who created Stitch).
16:30 - They're in Kaua'i, Hawaii. You can't make a movie set in Hawaii and not add Elvis Presley.
22:28 - There isn't a translation for it that I can find, but I'm pretty sure it means something like "I don't want to be taken apart."
22:32 - I like fluffy!! 😄
25:23 - Ih (yes).
26:52 - Jumba said he thinks faster than any super computer.
29:06 - I'm Batman!
I am always stunned seeing movies I’ve watched many times growing up and seeing this twenty year old guy first time watching these movies, So funny and good tho
If you didn't know, they are making a "live action" Lilo & Stitch movie, I can't wait!! Lilo & Stitch made me cry the first time I watched, during the part where Stitch is in the jungle and says, "I'm lost" And your Stitch impression is spot on!!
I have very mixed feelings bc I can't believe you've never watched some of this movies but at the same time I really believe in your word 🤣💛✨
Looks like no one has said it yet.
The chase scene at the end with the space ships was changed last minute. Originally they were going to hijack a plane and chase after Gantu through the city. However, this movie was in production when 9/11 happened. Disney contacted the team doing the movie and they were all over it. They recolored the scenes to be in nature and with a space ship.
Lilo and Stitch has in total 4 movies ( 1 theatrical released, 3 tv movies) 2 seasons of TV show ( include four cross-overs with other Disney shows)
"Is there a sequel?" Buddy, there's two more movies, a Disney Channel cartoon, and a few anime series. You can keep the Stitch train going for a while, and I'd love it if you did lol
This film makes me openly weep like a baby 😢❤
