They make social workers evil in the media? I’ve never seen that. Mostly incompetent…but that’s sort of true. Although it’s not their fault. They’re just severely underfunded and understaffed.
What IS malicious is that Lilo's voice actress is the same one as Samara from The Ring, which my friend EVILLY tricked me into watching saying it was a comedy.
I think there is a deleted scene that explains why Lilo takes pictures of the tourists. It’s because the tourists treat her, a Hawaiian native, like an attraction when visiting. So she treats them how they’ve treated her. Fun fact: the climax of the movie was rather different in the original draft, but it had to be altered after an unfortunate event in September 2001. In case yall didn't know, the reason why Lilo says that the fish controls the weather is because her parents would take her every week to feed the fish until one day Lilo forgot and later that night, her parents died in a storm. So she genuinely believes that if she forgets to feed Pudge again, he will create another storm and potentially kill more people. This was more explained in the deleted scenes, but its so sad.
So Lilo takes photos of the tourist as a role-reversal on how many tourists who go to Hawaii see the locals almost as attractions in real life. Plus, it's funny that Lilo is often looked down upon (I think in the show spinoff and sequel) for being in the dance group despite her being the only native there and the dance is a traditional Hawaiian dance.
@thesleepyfable3902 how are they not? Everyone except Myrtle has Hawaiian skin colour and only one of them has blonde hair, everyone else has darker colours.
@@blindtherapper2470 The others might be mixed heritage or simply darker but not Hawaiian; Lilo is the only one who has (or is close to having) full Hawaiian blood.
This movie has an underlining message about tourism in Hawaii. All the people you see on the beach are tourists, and Lilo takes pictures of them because she's treating them like they're attractions, just like they treat her island and culture. Also Nani's first job that she lost is specifically a business that relies on tourism, and you can see how she dresses in a way that's meant to make her look attractive. She basically had to be a sexy waitress for tourists, which is pretty messed up when you think about it.
Also look at the scene where Stitch is playing the record player out of his mouth. It shows decor of Nani's surfing past, which she presumably had to give up to take care of Lilo after losing their parents. Yeah.....
“Ohaha means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.” That saying is not only quotable, but powerful too. Love this movie, so much fun and emotional.😌

I remember Lilo and Stitch show being SO GOOD. You guys just gotta find a place for it on your schedule someday, It may be one of my favorite episodic shows in all of my childhood.
A really beautiful thing about this movie is that the name Lilo means (something along the lines of) broken/lost. So it a broken/lost child/family and the Stitch’es that brings it all together
Also 9/11 happened while they were making the movie, so they had to change a few things in the finished product. Originally in the movie, they weren’t going to fly a spaceship, but a airplane that they stole and then flew into a bigger city, and then swatted the Ice-cream out of the guy’s hand. Instead it became a spaceship flying in a mountain range
They had to change the final fight sequence due to 9/11. The reason for it is that the ship Jumba was flying at the end was supposed to be a commercial plane and they were gonna be flying by buildings.
I remember how, in the trailers for this movie, they had Stitch infiltrating/ruining classic Disney movie moments (the dance from Beauty & the Beast, Simba’s presentation in Lion King, etc.)
Yes and we can even see him in the dvd bonus of Aladdin (a dvd of games). Timon appears in one of them where he did a reference to the Génie by saying " He's blue but that's not him "
Social workers like Bubbles are a blessing. I could absolutely never do that job. Like, the goal is what's best for the child, but if you read a situation wrong, (which just looking at this fictional case would be a super reasonable mistake to make) you could be the one that ruins what is actually a good family.
Coincidentally I’m literally in Hawaii right now lol. One thing that’s hinted at but never fully addressed is how this movie alludes to the USA government taking over. The high emphasis on tourism. Lilo takes pictures of tourists like how in the past tourists would come into Hawaii and snap pics of the natives. The song/poem Nani sings to Lilo before she’s taken away is the song the final queen of Hawaii sang to her ppl when her land was taken from her. In this case tho, CPS isn’t 100% unjustified in what they’re doing, but are failing to account for the fact that Nani is struggling and is causing more harm for both instead of just finding a better way to help. In a way, what a lot of Western powers did to their conquered lands, believing they knew better. More cool details include the fact Nani used to do competitive surfing but had to stop to take care of Lilo. And Lilo feeds Pudge cuz she believes he can control the weather, bad weather being what killed her parents. Lilo is also likely neurodivergent, which explains her difficulty connecting to others.
Stitch coming to Hawaii but adopting the culture and joining the “family” (like Bubbles does), is reminiscent to what happens in modern times. Native Hawaiians are minimal on Hawaii now. But a lot of ppl come to live on Hawaii and they tend to adopt that Hawaiian spirit and culture, and join the “family”. They are also financially destitute compared to others cuz of government problems, so the aliens fixing their house and helping them out seem to reflect at least a part of what has happened. While there aren’t many natives left, there’s a decent amount of mixed race ppl.
LILO is NOT nuerodovergent she’s just into weird stuff. And angry cuz her parents died and she’s still managing through her grief. I’m glad they didn’t do the whole “Us tourism” thing cuz it makes modern Americans look bad even though we’re not the ones in charge of that. 9/10 were unaware of what other states forthwith if it’s not a disaster or mass shooting. I know a lot of locals don’t like the tourism because none of the money is getting back into the community as well as developing over land that they always to have natural But that’s the same EVERYWHERE
@sharpaycutie2 Eh, I like to think she's neurodivergent. But seeing as how she's fictional and only the writers could ever confirm or deny said theory, we're left in limbo. :/
@@sharpaycutie2 this all is basically modern americans faults (I say as an american myself). we have the power to reform the government yet no one does anything. we are bad. the us is bad and is continuing to drive natives from their homes just like the us did with the natives in america and just like everywhere else settlers have stepped in, we are bad because we see this and recognize this is happening yet still wanna tour places we dont belong. and this being the same everywhere is not a good thing either. it shouldnt be this way.

10:23 ah you found the non Disney+ version. Disney changed this scene to a table and a pizza box so they wouldn’t be giving kids ideas to hide in a dryer.
That's like the trinity of post Renaissance Disney films that flopped but much more appreciation later...althought I think Brother Bear fairly well, idk.
@@flyingchong It is wild brother bear got better reception and a sequel, compared to Treasure planet and Atlantis, cause it is clearly the weaker of these three movies. Not to say Brother bear is a bad movie, but it's not amazing like the other two.
Fun fact: the house action sequence between Jumba and Stitch was originally intended to be much more intense, with Jumba actually being more of a threat to the point where he'd use real weapons on stitch. But they determined that this was too much so they tweaked the scene so that it was much less intense, right down to tweaking Jumba's design a bit so that he looked more appealing and friendly. Its why he looks different in some shots than in others.
10:19 Oh wow, you got the original version with the dryer! Disney doesn’t distribute that version anymore because they didn’t want to give kids the the idea of climbing in there lol.
Man I have such a complicated relationship with this movie. I love it and it's a masterpiece but at the same time, I often find myself avoiding it because of how depressing it is. At least in the first half. I can't even imagine being in Nani's shoes. She's what I think 18 or 19, she could've gone to college and had her own life but because their parents died, she had to give all that up to raise Lilo. I mean no blame on anyone but I just always felt so bad for her.
I got even more depressed after learning Lilo and Samara from The Ring are the same voice actress. Friend in college tricked me into watching it saying it was a comedy lololz.
Also I'm pretty sure the trophies/medals in her room were for surfing competitions, so it's likely that she had to give up her passion for surfing in order to take care of Lilo as well.
6:04 I've been the Hawaii. It's a very beautiful island. Even the water is crystal clear that when you see below the surface, you can literally see fish and large creatures from quite a distance. The ocean there is that clean. The people who live there take really good care of it.
I always go years without rewatching Lilo and Stitch and I alwaya forget how heartbreaking it is. From Lilo's loneliness to Nani struggling to manage everything with her life without catching a break
Its confirmed that the fish controls the weather and that he did make that storm, they confirm it in the show because turns out he isn't a normal fish he is an alien.
I love Lilo and Stitch. It was so emotional, funny and so wild. They even have the best songs. Important thing to learn is that Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left or forgotten 🎵🎵🎵😢😢😢🤣🤣🤣

Yup, there's four movies. You have Lilo and Stitch, Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch has a Glitch, Stitch the Movie which ties into the TV series and finally Leroy and Stitch which takes place after the show ended and even makes references to the show. So you will need to watch the series before seeing the last movie so you don't miss the continuity. There's also a Lilo and Stitch anime apparently but I haven't seen it so I don't know how good it is
This movie has been such a big part of my childhood. And I still use “Ohana means family. Family means so one is left behind.” in my everyday life to this day. Would love to see you react to the other Lilo and Stitch movies and maybe even the series.
Idk if y'all are looking for audience response to this new editing style, but if you are, I'd just like offer my opinion, which is that I think the old format is better. I prefer being able to see the movie/show (or at least what you can show of it without getting copy striked) and your faces at the same time, and just kinda feel like I'm watching along with you guys. All the random cutaways to memes and stuff kinda takes me out of it a bit. And switching from the movie to your individual reactions to things and not seeing it all simultaneously, I think, creates a slightly worse experience. Obviously no offense, I'm just offering my opinion as an audience member. Although, if this change was to help dodge Copy strikes then there's not much that can be done about that, but if it was a creative choice, then I'd recommend going back to your previous format. Just my thoughts
10:19 I see you got the version before they changed it to be a pizza box covering a shelf, instead of her crawling out of the washing machine because they didn’t want to encourage kids to climb in the washing machine to hide
Hawaiian born and raised girl here! I was in high school when this movie came out in theaters and let me tell you: it was PACKED here at home. To this day, it’s one of my favorite movie going experiences. Everyone showed out for it. It’s one of the best Disney movies ever made imo. Elsa’s love saving Anna was beautiful but Nani is truly a realistic powerful female and sister. Being only 19, gave up her dream of being a professional surfer, to raise Lilo after losing their parents who is a problem child because “they just don’t know what to say.” Broken families still being GOOD is one of the simplest yet deepest themes Disney has done.
I'm sorry but I can't get used to this editing 😂 IDK if I hate it or love it. I do love the zoom ins but I wish we could see your faces all the time like before even if very small (instead of whole screen with the movie).
There's also an anime, called Stitch!, except instead of landing on Hawaii, Stitch lands on one of the Japanese islands, and the girl he befriends is a Japanese girl called Yuna. The story is different than the movie but takes a lot of notes from it. The chairwoman alien's kind of a bitch, ngl. Like she leaves Pleakley on Earth because he failed to aprehend an extremely dangerous fugitive, when that's not even his job and way beyond his training. She also leaves Jumba there, a convicted criminal and self-proclaimed mad scientist, instead of taking him back into custody. And in the later movies it's revealed she fired Gantu, again for failing to catch Stitch. Like okay he failed, but Stitch is so dangerous that you were willing to gas an entire planet to kill him, cut the guy some slack. Maybe dock his pay or something, no need to fire him.
"Pudge controls the weather" phrase now gets me when I learned the reason is so important for her to give the sandwich to the fish is because the time she failed feed the fish her parents died in a car accident due to the weather.
Yes, and Mertle's reaction after Lilo said that makes me very angry because it reminds me of my teacher when I was 5 years old. My parents made believe to my little sister and I that a magic squirel letted bonbons falling when we went into the forest. I was so happy to say I went to a magic forest and my teacher looked at me like a second head just poped next to mine
@@darknigthangel she wasn't. A lot of my classmates suffered because of her (the ones who had difficulties) and it's because of her if I stopped to believe in Christmas Father
This is a new editing style! It's very cool! I like the memes and jokes that are added in. I personally miss the normal group layout a little here (with the movie in the tiny screen). Like it's already a lot (of jokes) and I'm only 3 minutes in. I've already seen the movie, I mainly wanna see you guys' faces, your reactions.
I'd love to see reactions to everything! I'm not sure how the general audience felt about the series but I loved it just as much as all the movies. I still remember the intro for the series. For watch order, Lilo and Stitch 2 was pretty standalone after this first movie so it can be watched at anytime. Stitch the Movie is the setup before the series and then Leroy and Stitch is after the series.
The content has been slapping lately, this movie is so good. Doesn't look like anyone has said it yet, but the ending chase scene was changed last minute in production. You see, this movie was in production when 9/11 happened. The original chase scene was going to be the gang hijacking a plane and racing through the city to catch Gantu. Once the event happened, Disney got in contact with the team making the movie and had them change it. They ended up recoloring backgrounds to resemble mountains and nature, and recolored the plane to look more like a space ship. Also, there are some really cool deleted scenes.
Just so you know, the watch order for the Lilo and Stitch franchise is: * Lilo and Stitch * Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch Has A Glitch * Stitch! The Movie * Lilo and Stitch: The Series * Leroy and Stitch Leroy and Stitch acts as a finale to the series, so I wouldn't watch it without watching the series. And, yes, I'd love to watch you guys react to all of that!
Aloha for A Lilo Stitch Reaction - Chris Sanders pitch this idea which in fact he already created the character of Stitch (which was going to be green) way back in 1985 when he created the creature for an unsuccessful children’s book which he is even the voice of - Originally the movie was going to be placed in Kansas but changed since Hawaii which had no animated feature had been set before - Fun fact there are more Elvis songs in this movie than even in any of the movies Elvis starred in - There are 2 references of Mulan with the first being that Nani has a Mulan poster on her wall, & there is also a restaurant called “Mulan Wok” - The Final Act was going to have a where Stitch hijack a plane but changed it because of 9/11 - The alien spaceships are designed like whales, crabs, & other marine life
10:18 the dryer / washer was actually swapped in recent years with a pizza box covering a shelf to avoid kids thinking they can hide in the washer or dryer. With how odd kids are that is probably a good thing! I love this movie and how goofy Lilo is :) Also very swagger video!
The reason Lilo feeds pudge the fish tuna for the weather control is because he parents died due to bad weather. So she feeds it so the weather stays good and Nani won't die.
The movies involving Lilo & Stitch follow a very interesting pattern. Stitch Has a Glitch is a sequel to the very first Lilo & Stitch movie. The Stitch Movie and Leroy and Stitch are directly related but might also be a seperate set compared to those two. If you watch Stitch the movie, you might technically have to watch the TV series, because Leroy and Stitch follows after all the events of that series.
Nice timing. I got a Stitch (and Angel) plush on the way, so what better way to ease of the pain of waiting 7+ days than watching the movies. Definitely watching the movies again when they do finally arrive.
I think what's amazing is that the washing machine lilo hid in earlier in the movie was present! The washing machine was removed in modern versions of the movie! XD
The show Lilo and Stitch was one of the most wholesome series ever! Thaught me that there is always a place for someone or something. If you don't fit in you find another place! :)
for anyone wondering the movie order is 1. lilo and stich, 2. Stich the movie, 3. L&S show season 1, 3. Lilo and Stich 2, 4. L&S show season 2, 5.Leroy and stich.
My dad was stationed in Hawaii for 3 years. The locals don't like tourists, and with good reason, many Hawaiians want their monarchy back. Our government saw a beautiful island with high tourists potential and did what we always do when we want land owned by indigenous people. Even now power and money are interfering with the recovery from those fires last year in an attempt to force the land owners to sell their land.
10:19 😮 OH SHOOT!! They got the Original version… the newer one LILO hides in a Cubby with a Pizza box because they didn’t want kids to hide in clothing machines 😅

First Lilo and Stitch the movie next the animated series. Soon you will come to 4 crossover episodes with Kim Possible, American Dragon Jake Long, Recess, and The Proud Family. Then there is Stitch the anime. Fun fact Lilo has the same voice actresses as Chihiro from Spirited Away.
Fun Fact: There is a deleted scene where Lilo experiences a racist remark from a tourist and then pranks people on the beach with a siren, also the ending chase scene with the spaceship was originally with a hijacked plane through a city but was changed after 9/11 happened
Nani feels motherly in this film because the writers originally wanted to write her as a single young mom struggling to raise Lilo but the higher ups in Dysney disapproved because they feared how traditional parents would react.
The second movie is a set up for Lilo & Stitch: the series. There is a reason why Stich is known as Experiment 626. The show dives into that. The 3rd and 4th movie conclude Lilo & Stitch: the series. There is another animated series. An anime called Stitch. It takes place roughly 20 years later in Japan. Another island town. There is one episode that I absolutely love. If you decide to watch Lilo & Stitch: the series, and like it, I will let you know which episode of Stich to watch.
Oh wow I’m surprised 10:26 you guys are watching the original with the dryer. Disney had to redo this scene as a cabinet to prevent encouraging kids from climbing into the dryer for safety reasons lol. On Disney plus it is a cabinet now that she hides inside
There’s an alternative scene where the movie was supposed to be released in 2001, but it had to be changed due to 9/11. Otherwise the ship would have been a plane.

So the ship chasing scene was originally very different prior to Sept 11. The ship Stitch was in was originally an airplane, and they crashed it into buildings. After 9/11 happened, they basically redid the whole sequence and instead of crashing through buildings, flew it through mountains.

As someone who was born and raised in Hawaii, this movie always makes me homesick and holds a special place in my heart.
I remember Lilo and Stitch show being SO GOOD.
You guys just gotta find a place for it on your schedule someday, It may be one of my favorite episodic shows in all of my childhood.
Seconded
Yes please react to the TV series and other movies!
The fact that Jumba knew "hound dog" not ever stepping foot on earth confirms what MIB not only exists but that Elvis did in fact go home
I know a lot of locals don’t like the tourism because none of the money is getting back into the community as well as developing over land that they always to have natural
But that’s the same EVERYWHERE
@sharpaycutie2
Eh, I like to think she's neurodivergent.
@@wildflowerproductions1414keep that spirit going, though reform has reached its limits, I reccomend the books "Blackshirts and Reds" and "The state and Revolution" and maybe "What is t be done" if you wanna learn more on what to do on these issues, we could always use more people in this fight
10:23 ah you found the non Disney+ version. Disney changed this scene to a table and a pizza box so they wouldn’t be giving kids ideas to hide in a dryer.
Understandable chabge honestly.
You guys should do the other movies in that era of Disney soon. Like Treasure Planet, Atlantis and Brother Bear.
That's like the trinity of post Renaissance Disney films that flopped but much more appreciation later...althought I think Brother Bear fairly well, idk.
@@flyingchongbrother bear got a sequel at least
@@flyingchong It is wild brother bear got better reception and a sequel, compared to Treasure planet and Atlantis, cause it is clearly the weaker of these three movies. Not to say Brother bear is a bad movie, but it's not amazing like the other two.
@@leovk5779 @himanbam Atlantis also had a sequel called Milo's Return
Fun fact: the house action sequence between Jumba and Stitch was originally intended to be much more intense, with Jumba actually being more of a threat to the point where he'd use real weapons on stitch. But they determined that this was too much so they tweaked the scene so that it was much less intense, right down to tweaking Jumba's design a bit so that he looked more appealing and friendly. Its why he looks different in some shots than in others.
I heard the reason Jumba looked different in the new scenes was because the animation for the additional shots was outsourced to another studio.
10:19 Oh wow, you got the original version with the dryer! Disney doesn’t distribute that version anymore because they didn’t want to give kids the the idea of climbing in there lol.
7:09 this line is hilarious, but then it got sad once you find out she does it because her parents died in a car accident during a storm one night 😢
I'm born in Madagascar and it's exactly the same. I loved it
I always go years without rewatching Lilo and Stitch and I alwaya forget how heartbreaking it is. From Lilo's loneliness to Nani struggling to manage everything with her life without catching a break
4 minutes in and i have to say already at this point that i appreciate the hell out of whoever is doing the editing. xD
I was about to comment the same thing. It's really good
"There's always a bigger editor"
Stitch's lines are the best. "YEEE-HAAAAAW!" "Stupidhead." and "Blue punch buggy!" are some of my favorites XD
Family means nobody gets left or forgotten
🎵🎵🎵😢😢😢🤣🤣🤣
I just got hit whit the biggest wave of " oh yeah I'm Mexican" than when I hit the link and got this isn't available in your region.
On a positive note this is my favorite Disney movie and I'm so glad y'all enjoyed it this much!
Ah, a 2000's childhood classic! I recommend looking into the deleted scenes for this movie.
YES! Continue on the Lilo and Stitch Journey! The show is amazing! Just make sure you watch the 4th movie after the show.
I learned recently that Lilo is autistic idk if its true but some of her behaviors makes more sense with that in your mind and made me understand why I loved her character as a child because she felt familiar to me in ways that no other media has ever accomplished befor.
Yeah me too, I DEFINITELY relate to Lilo as probably being Autistic like me 🩷🩷🩷
Now there's autiatic behavior... got it... so what's the common behavior for you?
@@MonsterGul really getting into weird hobbys that no one would understand lol
I love collecting random shiny objects like she loves taking pictures of tourists.
Like if I see somthing shiny out on a walk or like a glass bottle or pretty much anything thats well shiny I have to pick it up and bring it home so every once in awhile I can pick it up and look at it for a few srconds then go on with my day lol
To a even greater extent I love collecting keys cause ive allways been fascinated by them.. If I would go outside more id probably have a full ass drawer of keys just taking up space xD
My mother also said whenever I went to my therapist when I was younger I allways had to bring home some of the pamphlets that were on the waitroom wall..
Just simple stuff like this and seeing Lilo doing the same quirky stuff as me as a child made me feel less like a sub human cause I was allays looked at like a pscyo that probably added to my separation aceity from my mother cause she, my grandmother, and great aunt where the only people to treat me like a normal person from the age 1 to 8 so yeah..
And I didn't find out i was on the spectrum untill I was 13 so I wouldn't understand why I felt a deep connection to her untill I found out the Austsic bit of her fharacter and it makes total sense to me lol
@@MonsterGul also saying random shit that will make 0 sense to any other living creture on the planet but it makes total sense to you is another thing lol

one last thing being quick to kick someones ass who deserves it is another thing.
Whether it was actually deserved or not is irrelevant If I thoght you were being an asshole I would hit you without thinking any futher like Lilo dose to Myrtle after the fish scene.
Just thought of an edt but If you can't phyically beat up someone you go the route if phyically exhausting whomever your angry at or is angry at you like Lilo dose with her elder sister running round screaming throwing things to slow her down enough to contiue running away.
I have now learned not to do that but as a undiagnosed autistic child my hands were rated E for everyone who pissed me off with very few exceptions so yeah hope I elightend you about the wonders of Autism lol
"Pudge controls the weather"
Why is that the best line?
Because it foreshadows how Lilo and Nani's parents were killed in a car accident when it was raining
@@InfinitEthanAnimationswas that in the movies? I haven't watched them in a long time
Yup, there's four movies.
There’s speculation that Lilo is autistic which explains her behavior at times
Jumba: "He's very persuasive"
so are my cats, when they want food 🤣🤣🤣
10:29 omg you have the correct version of the movie. The one when she hides in a washing machine n not a cupboard
10:44 The deleted scene man... Lilo takes pictures cuz tourist take picture of her all the time as she is ''a local''

Agreed. It’s fun, but it feels like a little too much. With a little tweaking it would be good!
Lio and stitch 2 should definitely be watched if you wanna cry!
I love the way this video is edited!
Just so you know, the watch order for the Lilo and Stitch franchise is:
* Lilo and Stitch
* Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch Has A Glitch
* Stitch! The Movie
* Lilo and Stitch: The Series
* Leroy and Stitch
Leroy and Stitch acts as a finale to the series, so I wouldn't watch it without watching the series.
And, yes, I'd love to watch you guys react to all of that!
Aloha for A Lilo Stitch Reaction
- Chris Sanders pitch this idea which in fact he already created the character of Stitch (which was going to be green) way back in 1985 when he created the creature for an unsuccessful children’s book which he is even the voice of
- Originally the movie was going to be placed in Kansas but changed since Hawaii which had no animated feature had been set before
- Fun fact there are more Elvis songs in this movie than even in any of the movies Elvis starred in
- There are 2 references of Mulan with the first being that Nani has a Mulan poster on her wall, & there is also a restaurant called “Mulan Wok”
- The Final Act was going to have a where Stitch hijack a plane but changed it because of 9/11
- The alien spaceships are designed like whales, crabs, & other marine life
10:18 the dryer / washer was actually swapped in recent years with a pizza box covering a shelf to avoid kids thinking they can hide in the washer or dryer. With how odd kids are that is probably a good thing! I love this movie and how goofy Lilo is :) Also very swagger video!
I died when he showed the 2nd movie 😂
im loving the disney arc the boys are on
Apparently Stitch's language has translations.
In the first part, he said, "I will [vulgar verb] [Vulgar Noun]!"
Four movies, a TV Series, AND an anime!! Lilo and Stitch was an awesome franchise for its time. 😎👍
Don't forget Stitch and Ai
I really wish we got a full English version of the anime

Nice timing. I got a Stitch (and Angel) plush on the way, so what better way to ease of the pain of waiting 7+ days than watching the movies.
Definitely watching the movies again when they do finally arrive.
25:04 😂🤣🤣🤣 you can see his eye twitched
I think what's amazing is that the washing machine lilo hid in earlier in the movie was present! The washing machine was removed in modern versions of the movie! XD
10:28 In the Disney Plus version they made her hide behind a pizza box. Kinda weird but alright 😂❤
I love Lilo taking tacky candid shots of tourists. It's like "yeah not so fun, huh?"
And then 3 seasons of Stitch! the anime where he travels to Okinawa.

Lilo and Stitch is one of the best movies of all time. It deserves so much more attention than it gets
10:19 😮 OH SHOOT!! They got the Original version… the newer one LILO hides in a Cubby with a Pizza box because they didn’t want kids to hide in clothing machines 😅
11:48 to 11:53 needs to be made into a gif. Such a perfect moment.

Stitch: MEEGA NALA KWEESTA
First Lilo and Stitch the movie next the animated series. Soon you will come to 4 crossover episodes with Kim Possible, American Dragon Jake Long, Recess, and The Proud Family. Then there is Stitch the anime. Fun fact Lilo has the same voice actresses as Chihiro from Spirited Away.
Fun Fact: There is a deleted scene where Lilo experiences a racist remark from a tourist and then pranks people on the beach with a siren, also the ending chase scene with the spaceship was originally with a hijacked plane through a city but was changed after 9/11 happened
I saw the thumbnail and was internally screaming "Yes, yes, yeeeeessss!"
I would of actually screamed but I'm at work.
God damn that lifeguard sure as hell awoke something in childhood me...
Nani feels motherly in this film because the writers originally wanted to write her as a single young mom struggling to raise Lilo but the higher ups in Dysney disapproved because they feared how traditional parents would react.
Holy s**t 🤩 I can't count how many times I saw this as a child 😎
6:18 It’s such a beautiful movie
There’s an alternative scene where the movie was supposed to be released in 2001, but it had to be changed due to 9/11. Otherwise the ship would have been a plane.
7:11 It's less funny when you understand her parents died in a storm

So the ship chasing scene was originally very different prior to Sept 11. The ship Stitch was in was originally an airplane, and they crashed it into buildings. After 9/11 happened, they basically redid the whole sequence and instead of crashing through buildings, flew it through mountains.
