One unmentioned benefit of using Dusclops is that it can't be stopped with Fake out when setting up Trick room due to its Ghost typing. That is what put it in the spotlight for being a trick room user in the first place.
A more minor thing in terms of why evolutions are usually better, but in later Gens (where Eviolite was recently introduced to begin with), Knock Off being such a good and common move makes the Pre-Evolutions more likely to be crippled by losing Eviolite compared to an Evolution which is relatively less impacted by item removal.
a thing to note, not all of these not fully evolved pokemon always used a Eviolite, Murkrow is already really frail so it would normally run a Focus Sash instead
They also added more ways to protect your items from Knock Off, such as Mega Evolutions and Z-Moves, which meant that they could switch into Knock Off. This was what made some of the Eviolite mons better in those generations. Then once they got removed, they fell off, letting their evolved counterparts surpass them again.
@@geometryemperor That reminds me of Dipplin having Sticky Hold which is a godsend on a pre-evolution like that to keep Eviolite. In its case, it's the better attacking stats, movepool, and even ability in Regenerator (most of the time) that put Hydrapple above its prevo.

I think its hilarious that since mega tyranitar is just a bigger Tyranitar with nothing unique to it aside from just hitting a bit harder than its base form and that makes it lesser than base Ttar, since it costs any other hold items

Uhh, Electivire being better than Electabuzz is debatable. Electabuzz is faster, while it also has the same base special attack as Electivire. Think it’s because they have imitate effects, as your other Pokemon can take advantage of it as soon as it’s on the field. Where in singles you need to switch out to use it.
How to make unevolved mons better: Step 1: Eviolite Step 2:Give them Follow Me Step 3. See that their unevolved stats are kinda bulky And that's how you can do it. (Bonus Steps:) -Their unevolved stats kinda barely change after evolving -Annoying at Stalling -Bulky enough to eat hard-hitting attacks -Busted Stall Options
Mega garchomp just has a different role. It's not worse, it's different. Garchomp is a fast sweeper with choice band/scarf or a sword dance set. Or he can be a defensive support with Rocky helmet/Leftovers and stealth rock. But mega garchomp is a wall BREAKER. It's still fast enough that it will outspeed most defensive pokemon. And extremely bulky so it is hard to get rid of, especially for defensive pokemon. And you cant afford to wait for toxic to do the job, because it hits way too hard, both physcislly and specially. And it has a great move pool to take advantage of its crazy stats. Stab earthquake and outrage, and then coverage moves like fire blast, Poison jab, Brick Break, iron head, shadow claw, crunch, stone edge. It even gets surf and Aqua tail. Somewhere in there is a move set that will hit your entire team for super effective damage.
Slaking has so much potential. A bst of 670 puts it on par with pokemon like Groudon and Kyorge. It has a great move pool too. Unfortunately, it regains the Truant ability back after evolving from Vigiroth. Why couldn't Game Freak give Vital Spirit as a hidden ability for Slaking? :(

Also garchomp: gets -10 spe
"Nevermind he's just bad" .
The thing is, people were scared he was going to sweep the ou tier, and he would have if he didn't lose 10 speed. That 10 speed was a huge deal
The ending just cutting off 💀
Whats the song that starts at 2:47?
ace academy theme from scarlet violet! Glad you enjoy my music selection
@@skyminliveThanks!! It sounded familiar but I could’t remember from where.
It's crazy how good Trick Room and Tailwind are in Doubles, considering that they are generally seen as gimmicky and bad in singles.
Think it’s because they have imitate effects, as your other Pokemon can take advantage of it as soon as it’s on the field. Where in singles you need to switch out to use it.
How to make unevolved mons better:
Step 1: Eviolite
Step 2:Give them Follow Me
Step 3. See that their unevolved stats are kinda bulky
And that's how you can do it.
(Bonus Steps:)
-Their unevolved stats kinda barely change after evolving
-Annoying at Stalling
-Bulky enough to eat hard-hitting attacks
-Busted Stall Options
The first free video in quite some time aaand it's a sponsor, oh well
Well, dusknoir is used as an offensive pokemon isnt worse than dusclops, its different
I think I heard about klang being used over klingklang because of eviolite, it has the plus ability and supported its team I believe
Imagine if there was an offensive Eviolite...
Ursaring specifically in the pokebilities meta
False swipe produced Dragonball z, freezai gave us what we needed with dragon ball kai
liked for melee music
You could have mentioned the like of trapinch > vibrava because it actually loses like 10 from its base stat total.
Dusknoir exist so it can beat lando-T
Slaking has so much potential. A bst of 670 puts it on par with pokemon like Groudon and Kyorge. It has a great move pool too. Unfortunately, it regains the Truant ability back after evolving from Vigiroth. Why couldn't Game Freak give Vital Spirit as a hidden ability for Slaking? :(
Because that would snap the game in half
They fear the king
@@josephbulkin9222 i think there is enough pokemon now to deal with slaking. we have options. even legendaries are starting to fall to the PU tier these days.
Pre-Soul Dew nerf the lati twins were entirely superior to their mega counterparts
It's not a freezai video without mention of "heavy doody boots"
