Classic Ginger,”it’s a dad’s job not a lads job”.when you get 73 years old ,it becomes farmers gospel! Well done Tom !
I hope Andy, the "Ginger Warrior" does not see this, He is only 66 🤣🤣🤣
@@jamielee9350 I think he was talking about himself tbf haha
Nice video! 211, nice!!!
Love to see your dad embracing the "answer as a %" vibe. What a great way to allow men to disclose their mental health without having to talk about their feelings, which we often struggle to do.
Good to see you and your dad chatting about how you feel. 85% for me today 👍
I loved to hear your dad chatting up using Olly’s % standard. So lovely for him to care for you in that way and describe what helps lift him. Love love love!!
Just hearing the Ginger talk about how you were both feeling percent wise - that lifted me a good 5%, so thanks Ginger, Olly, and Tom for the extra 5% today
The sun is out the sky is blue, smell of fresh hay…….. situation A. Ok!
Your Dad is the perfect role model of all modern men. Powered by the sun, runs on organics (gin and tonic), touchy feely about his feelings. We all could take a leaf out of his book.
Nice work lads!!
I had the luck to visit the farm shop about two weeks ago, while on holiday from Australia the butcher was a lovely guy very helpful. The sausages we bought were really delicious well worth the drive. I was very fortunate to meet Tom he was kind enough to have a photo taken with me on a very busy day, much appreciated Tom. Thankyou 😊
Great to see you and your Dad chatting about how you feel. Make it a routine to genuinely check in with each other. All your hard work on those worms and the soil is paying off for your beautiful cows. Greetings from Vermont, USA
I love your dad he is ace. Could watch an hour of him talking and teaching.
Youre very lucky to have such a good dad
Not gonnas lie, I started tearing up when you and your dad started talking about how you feel. It's such an important conversation to have. I'm sure the good crop of hay gave you guys a needed boost.
The G Warrior talking about feeling was great. Tom’s face after was a joy to see. Funny how such a simple thing can make a son show such genuine affection for their father with a simple look.
A lot of bales there Tom, like you said “where are you going to put them all”? Totally agree that Olly and the guys combine run has got lots of people talking about their mental wellness and not just in the farming community, but all the viewers of these farming blogs
Your father is a bundle of knowledge 👍he should have a show on the BBC 🍻
Your Dad is better than Google when it comes to grass and hay
Well done Tom & the ginger guy with the moustache and I’m feeling 100% as my dad just got out of hospital today after his breathing problems 💙💙
Ginger is the man.knows what's going on with making hay i could listen too the man all day long
Playing with the "new" tractor. Making bales of hay! This is great stuff. I love watching these tractor/field videos. It is great to see you and your father discuss how you're feeling and how activity on the farm can make you feel.
I always loved windrowing new mowed hay. It smelled so good. We sometimes drive by a field and it brings back great memories, but also all the had work.
It's so important that you and your dad as grown men, discuss the ups& downs & hard work that farmers of all ages endure. It's great emotionally for others in the profession to know they are not alone.
Good luck to mum. I’ve had both hips, so I know what’s up with that.
Like to see the haybob working. Great to see a bit of older kit havin a go. Great numbers too.
Parlour starting to get fitted is amazing as well. Exciting days.
That did give me a bit of a boost today knowing I'm not the only one running at 75 percent today. ❤😊
Ever since I was a little girl I always wondered how the hay bails were made, Thank you ☺️
Best wishes for a speedy recovery for your mom. Love how you explain what your doing and why and then showing the work. You and your dad are such a great team! Love your channel!
Your old man is a bloody legend! 😎👍👍👍👍
I love listening to you and the Ginger talk your farming. It's so wholesome! But wow, I'm learning so much. I'm an urban bumpkin here. 😊
when your dad explains things. its always easy to understand and makes sense
Love your interaction with your dad ,you work so hard and deserve all good things
You are going to be an awesome dad
Great way to start my day. Love seeing your dad for a bit. Thanks for all you do.
Reminds me of a few years ago when my late father dug our old hay bob out of the shed, rattles like nothing else but gets the job done 😊 I usually stick the hay fork in a few bales for a few minutes, take it out and feel it, if it's cold they're right to go in the shed if it's hot they're not 😊
the memories that your making is best part of these videos
great video get well soon mum❤
Your dad is a national treasure Tom, love him to bits 👌
So glad you got those bales in before that storm last night. Hope the girls were ok in the shed ❤ 85%
Tedding!!! Love these videos of making hay and making silage. I love that your father asked you about how you felt when you got up and had that discussion. Love the Ginger Guy!!!! Have a great day and can't wait to see Friday when maybe we'll see parlor stuff!!
The legend has spoken dads like the ginger farming yoda 😂 hope mama tom is back on her feet wishing her a speedy recovery, i had my first hip replaced at 28 and it was a hard work but best thing ive done
Great to see you both #answerasapercent something father and son dont always do - especially in family businesses! Keep up the good work boys
Awesome that your dad was so proactive about mental health talk!! I’m dealing with some life and disability stuff so I’m at about 10%.
A brilliant video on a day like that there is nothing better than being out on a field in a tractor, great to see everyone chatting about mental health awareness, I have been a pretty consistent 60% for a while now but the past few days I have been a solid 80%😊
So great! Luscious grass for your cows. Love and prayers 😇💜
Just love you dad!!
Great video Tom you’re dad is a happy man with the hay great drone footage 👍👍👍👌👌
This is exactly the kind of thing your dad gets very excited over. Those little PZ hay bobs are good tedders, they just are good at fluffing up the hay. I've used one a few years ago now and it was small but it definitely did the job well. Fun fact I've had an internship in the old PZ factory (now Kuhn) they still do make these hay bobs there and other PZ equipment under the Kuhn brand. Tom don't overwork yourself and keep on doing the good work💪🏻💪🏻 I hope your mom's operation went well and she will recover soon😊
Absolutely brilliant to see you chatting with youre about how you feel so openley, not something thats common with working families! Great to see you showing its normal to do and a healthy thing to do also! Good in the Ginger Guy for bringing up the topic!
19:07 It's a good problem to have. Here we have dry weather in large parts of southern Sweden. Not easy to buy from others....
My morning started off very slow but after watching your video, it perked up it’s exciting to see the crap that was brought in my goodness wonderful outdid both of you. Your dad is a wise man he knows farming like no one that I have seen, and you’re learning from the master.
Great to watch you guys
I have started wait and watch your videos in the mornings as it gives me a boost for the day.
80% for me today
Total respect for you two for what you do #God bless
Quick tip when using a hay bob for rowing finish with the headlands last
awesome to hear you talk about mental wellness with your dad.
I’m 92% and hubby is 94%! We made a nice dinner and enjoyed each others company this evening. That’s all it takes lately.
So are you a professional fluffer Tom 😂😅
Always a good sight to see the bales coming in. And what a great chat with your dad about how he feels % wise, Olly's trip has dome wonders to get people taking about how they feel ( especially blokes) as saying a % is so much easier to do
Bloody love Your Dads passion for the farm and yourself
90-95% as I have your video to watch it is my highlight of every week.
Words of wisdom from the ginger guy!
Fair play good to see your dad is still mad keen to drive the farm forward 👍 👌
A boy and his Toys, just spent the weekend with grandbabies. Grandson is 2 loves trucks and tractors, seeing a Yellow dump truck made his day 😂
That was a wholesome video. Really enjoying your channel
Love your videos. ginger guy is awesome. And you have so much of his knowledge on video to have forever.
i wish i could do for my dad what you have done for yours. your good to him. hes worth it, fair play to both of you,
Loved the hay making , we always seem to get just right , dry but still a bit green , row up in the evening, ted out in the morning . You make a great team 👍🏻
Got to love your dad he’s a legend 😊
Well done all.
As the song goes I feel good. Feel bless. Y’all are such a blessing ❣️❣️
Even with your drone shots Tom I’ve still no idea where that field is located 😂
😂
Good luck and wishes for your mother. God bless
what a legend the ginger guy is
Loved that "its a dad´s job, not a lad´s job" made me smile big, 85-90% today, good day at work, good video from you, lots of bales, letsdig18 video about his newly bought dragline, just got some nice food as well, so yeah, great day! :)
Great video. Your dad is so much fun to watch.
Your dad is amaizing!👍👍🌹greetings out belgium
Fair play your a very hard working man Tom❤
It was a gorgeous day!
so happy to see this being part of so many conversations these days i was about 60% this AM about 75 when finshed work 98% after this video well done sir
talking about mental health is amazing and seeing big ginge take that initiative shows he understands the issues and doesnt want you to be stuck in there as well as knowing itll help others too. im about 70% today but been a long weekend, should be 90% by thurs hopefully
The ginger man he’s a legend well done tom and father great video again. U should of had little square bailer out with the hay bob 😂😂
454 is a nice shot. Wonderful way to see it done.
I do enjoy dairy life, but I really do miss the grass work, when I had a beef herd I done everything. The smell driving down a field of grass that's turning. With the little haybob. It's beautiful. I done it all on a ford 4610, no air con 😂😂
Listening to the ginger man would lift you up he has a mountain of knowledge and experience in farming
I used to love doing this job when I was younger. Don’t do farm work now, but I do miss it when it’s weather like this 🌞
Feels odd seeing myself in one of your videos after being a fan for so many years🤣, was a pleasure meeting you, James with the hilux you mentioned🏴
About 60% today. Off to hospital later on. Had an operation a few weeks ago and taking bad not being able to work just now. Hopefully be back for the start of harvest. Another great video Tom, keep up the good work 👍🏻
95% well done Tom and Ginger 😊
Great video Tom ginger guy a legend!! Hay makeing as got to be the best part of the year !! Well done I was 65-70% gone up to least 80 now after that thanks guys 👍👍
I have a Hay Bob and it has its advantages and disadvantages I love following it but I hate changing the tine springs!! Knuckle busters to change out!! I love the smell of fresh hay!! Many thanks!!
Love those drone shots!!
Great video love see you and your dad working together 💙💙 . I'm about 50% today, but tomorrow is another day.
This was refreshing to watch, myself and my father were out today turning our hay with our trusty haybob! It's good to see someone else use old kit. We've also got a case international 785 which is very similar to your old 885. :)
Well done
I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in January and I just started treatment and I feel 65% but last week I felt more like 45%
Your dad knows a lot 👍
I think I said at the time that tractor was a backward step. You will live and learn Tom.
Love youre dad, genually asking about how you feel and on what percent you are on. Bless you guys, and keep up the video`s, love to watch them and especially when i`m on a low percent
Nice job 😊
I have no connection to farming but I just so enjoyed this video. Speedy recovery to mum, glad you and father talk about all things business and wellbeing. Best wishes to you , wife and bump. Take care. X
Your Dad is a mental health guru. 👍🤗
Here in the US we wrap the hay with white plastic and then just line them in a sleeve along the side of a field.
Great video Tom
When i used to do hay in cork, always tedded it straight after the mower, opened it to drying immediately and saved days.
Well said Ginger 😊
