We always soak Nuts overnight or quick use for half hour in hot water. Soaking nuts before use reduces Phytate and improves their digestibility. You get more nutrients.

I love overnight oats especially in the summer nice cool and refreshing and then cold months I warm up my oats best thing ever I make mine with unsweetened vanilla almond milk and top with either nuts and dried fruit or fresh fruit if i want chia seeds i soak it overnight with the oatmeal ❤

Great recipe! I love making this exact same recipe. My tip would be to mix Moringa powder to the oats when dry as it mixes well. We can add chia seeds too.

Moringa leaves are called as MURUNGA leaves in east asian countries like srilanka. It is also the powder I ve been ignoring in my own kitchen since I was a kid. I never knew it could be consumed this way. so thank you for letting me know.

I do different one which is oats, chai seed flex seeds powder, mixed with milk and honey overnight then I add mixed berries that’s how I do it it works for me

I tried soaked oats once, by keeping them in fridge for more than 3 hours.
But it turned out still hard to chew. I don't know if that would help in digestion for some people.
I do prefer hot/cooked oats over soaked now.

Yeah. I always making oat with hot water since childhood (like making coffee or tea). And I drink it like beverage. Lately I’ve seen people make overnight oat and it’s kinda weird to me cause I feel like the oat is not cooked properly? And won’t be good for my stomach.
I like some of recipes that I would like to tried, like putting chia seed and fruits but I don’t think I would make it overnight. I would continue to make it when I feel like I want to drink it with hot water.😅

I would replace cashews with almonds, as cashews will raise your cholesterol levels if eaten regularly. Pistachios are plant seeds, better nutritionally, and won't raise the cholesterol levels. Take care.
