    Hi Dave,
    What a practical video with clear explanations of the advantages of both.
    I use on and off depending on the water pressure through my DI tank. If the glass is really dirty, I will then rinse off the glass the first scrub and on the glass for the second scrub. The circumstances determine the method.
    I am also enjoying my Alpha Hybrid from Tucker. It has 2 fan, 2 pencil and a rinse bar. Fits nicely into my Gardiner pole.

    Hi Dave great vid, I've been doing this method for years , even better if using a 12 inch brush head with the 4 pencil jets.. better rinse per square inch on the glass also less fatigue because it's lighter at heights and more whippy and responsive and gets into the corners better .. and way to get the water sheeting off the glass is to hand scrub and use 0000 steel wool on your first cleans or your beading glass . It may take extra time first up but benefits long term .. this works on 95 percent off glass out there.. yes flood the glass instead of repeating washing and rinsing.. time is money.. allows more time for the more important things 😜👍🔥

I was scratching my head watching people use 2 mm penicl jets and 1 to 2 liters a minute flow years a go , i was thinking you need to use the water to help you and not slow you down .... i was always of the opinion .... big rinse = quick work = + more money .. quick work. = quality life ( more energy )

Hard water stain remover as a paste and titan green degreaser mixed in together using 0000 steel wool scrub onto glass window and polishing method, rinse off after 5-7 minutes dwell time .. your glass will now sheet off the water rather than beading off ..shhh our secret bro 😜👍

    Nice work office bro, big commercial jobs use a different pump 20 litres per minute open flow pump 60 psi. Or if more pressure is required more pressure 10 litres per minute 200 psi pump... all you need to do is have a variety of brushes and drill out the pencil jets .. the advantages of the new Gardiner brushes is the capsules that can be swapped out.you can drill them out to suit your desired flow rates matched to the pump and jobs 👍😜that's how we roll bro

    Hi there I'm really new to all of this only been using pole system for about a month. When you were talking about the different types of window, I have noticed that some windows leave alot more spotting than others. Do I need to get a better brush or is this just because of the type of window.

    • @squeakycleandave1
      @squeakycleandave1  3 роки тому +1

      It’s not the brush it’s probably the glass. You will notice on some glass the water comes off in sheets which is called hydrophilic glass which means it loves water. The other type of glass the water comes off in beads which is called hydrophobic as in phobia it repels water.
      The hydrophobic glass will need a lot more rinsing and you may not be able to rinse on the glass with it.
      The other problems you might find is some windows may have vents above them. If these aren’t completely clean dirty water may run out of them leaving spots
      Some people leave the vents all together

    I love the idea of not having to rinse off the glass but let me ask some ignorant questions! Taking the example of Gardiner brushes - some say “suitable for rinsing on the glass” and some don’t. Does this technique overcome that obstacle for brushes that aren’t advertised as being suitable for rinsing on the glass. Secondly, what’s the difference between rinsing on the glass and the cleaning the glass stage? The rinsing just looks the same but quicker. Maybe some obvious answers I’m missing but thanks for your help.

    • @squeakycleandave1
      @squeakycleandave1  4 роки тому

      Nathaniel Leitch the brushes that say aren’t suitable for rinsing on tend to catch more bits so aren’t as good but will still work but not as well.
      It is basically the same as washing the window but I pay more attention when I rinse making sure I’ve left no bits behind. You still need to scrub before you rinse to loosen up the dirt 👍

    3mm pencil jets are amazing for rinsing on glass but flow doesn't need to be that high.... Water quantity not pressure

      @Clean It Worcestershire its personal preference, rinsing on the glass is quicker and with no impact on results.

    Personally I can't stand a swivel head it just feels like I'm working with a broken goose neck but to each their own. I also prefer lower pressure it saves water and there is a lot less bounce back which can cause problems with the finish.

      NorthernSmog if you use larger jets in the brush you don’t get the bounce back and I’ve found with a higher flow I get much more work done but we all work differently so we have to work out the best way for the way you work
