summ22: if the rubber is dry then it wouldnt matter but when you place the blade on the window there's a good chance the rubber is already wet so you leave a wet print where you make first contact on the glass. Feathering is a bit like tapping the blade on the glass- it gets rid of the excess water so you avoid those water smears at the top edge.

😂 the aluminium poles at hight are impossibly heavy specially with the size mop you’re trying to use and totally uncontrollable. I can’t believe that you didn’t bother cleaning the frames on anything 😖to clean windows on a High Street without cleaning the lower edges of the frames is pointless? All the traffic film just sits on the bottom and top edges then runs down the frames and the glass when it rains. Staining everything. No towels down on the floor doing inside work probably good enough for business but nowhere near a good enough for private work.
