The real tragedy is that the vast majority of the "jobs" in these municipalities are not even real jobs.... They are/were created simply as a means of transferring taxpayer money into the pockets of ANC cadres... In these municipalities, the actual work can be done by fewer than 10 competent people per municipality as most if not all of the actual work is outsourced to private contractors.... Even more tragic is that these "mayors" and speakers spend lavishly on blue light motorcades, entertainment five star travel, expensive alcohol, clothes etc.... They also spend the vast majority of their time soliciting bribes and kickbacks....and also being entertained by tenderpreneurs.... They do NOT do ANY actual work....
Those who love this country, are pulling their hair out of their heads to sound the alarm that the situation is dire, very dire. We're going down like the Titanic.
It seems a bit strange that Gauteng in particular has much less audits than other provinces.. As if there is a lot that is not actually being audited..?

Wasn't the fall in living standards an obvious thing once the ANC took over. Now you have to look for work , before the ANC the work was looking for you.
I'd like to see more content around the effects of climate change on SA, particularly how that'll effect crop farming, supply chains, infrastructure, disease proliferation and migration. Much of the info on this channel is pretty obvious with no real distinction from mainstream media. It would nice to see information that provides more unique perspectives.
Possibility of the ash cloud from Tonga volcano will have a impact on agriculture in the southern hemisphere with temps expected to drop by 1/2 percent. As for the climate change farce, its fake. Reduction of CO2 will lead to reduced food supply. As it is commercial greenhouses spend millions pumping C02 into their tunnels to get a better yield on their crops.
@@MrLute101 That's quite insightful. We definitely have been having wetter weather. I notice that the quality of our produce is worse, and the store managers I've spoken to reckon it's because of this wet weather. I see the same thing on my small farm. I suspect this will drive up PPI, and in turn inflation. If climate change drives up basic food costs I suppose that poses a serious risk for SA. Very nice insight!

I reckon CRA is an organization that SA sorely needs, but the content I've seen so far is common sense. I'll certainly consider the paid option if I see information that allows me to navigate the risks to SA well.

I ask myself why we pay tax when we have to pay for private services as well - legalised theft is all it is.
Deliberately deteriorating living conditions
Corruption killed economy, created unemployment, makes country banana republic.
We all getting poorer, greed.

The ANC is not starting to lose power in major urban centers, the have already lost power in most of them.
Only Durban is ANC out of major metros.
50% of South Africa's GDP is under DA-led municipalities now.
Thanks Gerbrandt for explaining that so well.
Well paid and nothing to show for it. Proudly South African.
This country has seen it's arse 😒
We're *TOAST !*
3:08 - Why is the Western Cape being audited so heavily? Is that self-imposed audits or Auditor-General audits?
