Its honestly hard to say, from my experience both of them last plenty long on a full charge, and on top of that I personally use the Apple Pencil pro as my daily driver with my iPad Pro. As a result its always charged and ready as it attaches magnetically on the side.
Do you always have to re pair ur apple pencil usb c everytime u want to use it? For example my apple 1st gen after i’ve paired it once to a device everytime i pick it up or bring it to my ipad it connects automatically without needing to be re paired… was wonedring if it was the same for the apple pencil usb c
From my experience it’s a bit of a hit or miss. I had to plug it into the iPad at least every few days, but I think it stays paired longer if it remains within Bluetooth range
Thanks so much for making this video. You made my decision easier & faster 😊. Huge help, thanks a lot 💕
Great explanation for the Apple Pencil, have decided on the new pencil pro. Thank you 😊
No problem! Glad you found it helpful!
Bro just threw the pencils like crayons 😂....while me treating mine like a baby 🐥
Your video is really helpful and to the point! Like it
Didnt the first Apple Pencil also have pressure sensitivity? Thats just sad for the USB C
It did, the Apple Pencil USB-C was just an odd model to introduce
@@historyofapple Seems super weird, thanks for the in depth comparison though!
@@derkernsen no problem!
Thank you for your explanation,,

Thank you!
Am I really going to pay $60 more to get the Apple Pencil only for its side charging and find my capabilities….? Yes… 🤦🏾♂️

How’s the battery life between the two?

You should not have. That’s like having to reconnect your iPhone to your car every time you walk away your car.
I think USB-C is great for my iPad 10th
Can I use the USB C to my Ipad Air M2? 11 inch 2024
Yes, currently every iPad model that has a USB-C charging port is compatible to use the Apple Pencil USB-C
3:33 is it the same with good notes?
Not sure what you mean by good notes, but for the demo you are referring to I used Apple's default notes app
@@historyofapple good notes is an app. Its the most common writing app for Students
Do the Apple Pencil pro work in iPad 10?
Unfortunately it will not work with the iPad 10th generation, it’s only compatible with the M2 iPad Air or M4 iPad Pro
@@historyofapple do all apple pencil pro features work just as well on the iPad Air M2?
@@sickkbby I would assume so but can't be 100% certain as I haven't been able to try that.
I have the pencil pro.. never used it.. I want to sell it for around 30 euro
