I gonna end my first summer job and I want to get myself my first Ipad really soon. I’m an artist and I already have a graphic tablet, but an Ipad will help me draw more everywhere. Anyway, I was wondering If it’s better to get the Air 13 or the Pro 13, since I want to draw, animate and also learn 3D sculpt on it. Would It be better to get to pro because of the M4 or is the M2 is good enough and also good through time/the next years?
Does iPad Air M2 support video editing off the external SSD drive? Given that it is USB 3.0 with 10Gbps. Can anyone share their experience of editing videos directly on the M2 iPad Air from an external drive?

Have you noticed the new iPad Pro being lower in volume at almost all volume levels (except the max) than an iPhone or older iPad. I’m trying to figure out if I got a faulty product: at the store they said it’s the latest update what has been causing this but since it’s been this way from the start (got it two days ago) I don’t know if it’s normal.

Does ipad air m2 13 inch have any thermal or throteling issue? I plan to used it mainly for drawing. Or should i better get ipad pro m4 11" for oled sacrifice the screen realestate and get a better hardware specs for hardware logetifity.
The only benefit to get m2 ipad air 13" is if you plan to use it mainly for drawing with new pencil pro. Otherwise u should go with previous m2 ipad pro 13"
You know I'm all in with Samsung, but my sister is 100% iOS. Her birthday is in October and I have, in the past, gifted her with a Pro (a very long time ago!), and an Air (also a very long time ago). She mentioned that both devices, though they are still working, have definitely slowed down and have developed a few other issues, so I am trying to get a jump on what's out there now so I can start saving my $$$ to get her an Apple Store gift card. She lives in Honolulu and has an Apple Store fairly close to her, so I think a new toy will be the perfect gift for her 72nd birthday! :)
It may be more resistant to it as the same brightness will put less strain on both panels. Im no expert tho, Im looking forward to seeing the results too
In time , I will buy myself another basic ipad..... and another galaxy tab ultra.... the ipad for things like simply piano, ios works different with this app..... but for watching movies, using it as a workstation I prefer the tab ultra....the aspect ratio of the ipad just sucks....no matter how big it is.....but that is just my opinion.
What are your favourite games on the iPad? -- I actually ended up buying a 512gb+5g 12.9" M1 iPad for £570 (35% of the price!), it has a much nicer display than the 13" Air with the 120hz MiniLED and better speakers than both while the 14" Pro is £1700 for a similar spec, yikes!
damn I'm glad I watched this before buying the Air! I assumed it had pro motion, I'll save up some more and buy the Pro , 60hz should be illegal in 2024 🎉
Only if you want to watch media and not do any work. S9 is a consumption decive thanks to how bad Android on tablets is. People are always quick to say how restricted ipados is, but it is light years ahead.

The iPad air will do everything you need it to do.
For 3D sculpting I would definitely push for pro, m4 chip should hold up for a while too.

@@brunoadame4667 Yes, I have. It is not as loud as my iPhone 14 Plus and my Samsung tab s9 Plus. I never had an iPad, this is the first one.

It's true that I'm not an Apple user, but could someone explain to me the benefit of choosing the M2 iPad Air 13" instead of the M2 iPad Pro 12.9" 🤔

The Pro is definitely overkill for my use case. Actually, the 11" Air more than meets my needs.
