In this video i show you Master Lazarus for the Dark Angels - unboxed, things to look out for, my recommended sub assemblies and finally him painted - I also talk about why he is better (value) than the other chapter masters released
this guy will set you back $27.50 from GW here in the UK however unlike his other chapter master counterparts that are all the same price - not only can you build Lazarus you can also build a variant captain meaning you get some nice bits left over, making him quite a unique mini compared to some of the other named characters

I'm a bit biased here undoubtedly with my love for Dark Angels but seeing as he's the only chapter master released in 8th that builds a variant its a shame others dont do this, however! who is your favourite chapter master?!?

Nice video, just one thing Lazarus is a Captain (called Master among the Dark Angels) the Chapter Master of the Dark Angels is Azrael .

I really like this kit and the Zakariah kit for custom captains and lieutenants. I think the Sternguard kits have promise too (because of the robes)

Sternguard are great for kitbashing and easy to make dark Angel-y

I found the helmet easy to mod (using only bits from the kit itself) so you can have him wearing the winged helmet

@@cat_or_rabbit I gave him a winged helm then used the gun arm and modified that to look like he is moving his cape aside to get his bolt pistol

this is rife for converting..
I am making a recently fallen to Slaanesh primaris squad, to make fairly unique looking noise marines.. using a mixture of Ultramarines/Dork Angels.. this model will fit in grandly

I plan on doing the 4 main Traitor Gods 1k points each first.. with their Key Troops/HQs..
and then maybe branching out to some of the rest..
Using all my current sprues and bits i have left over when i put a pause on the hobby 5 years ago..
