That Dark Angels Banner bearer - I owned the 2nd edition version of that - way back when there wasn't even a sculpted banner on him.
I’ve thought about adding some legacy miniatures to my force but the size different just puts me off, will probably to and recreate some tho with newer minis
@@cat_or_rabbit I totally agree. My Dark Angels is pure Primaris outside of some vehicles. Although I do sort of want to get an OldHammer 2nd Edition army going too. Just for the nostalgia.

Really approved that thumbnail art with the 2nd Ed style box. I do love the blue background on those, givin' that meta/off-context mood with sole focus on miniatures in an uplifting tone.

Have been wanting to get this kit to do some cool DA kitbashes. Will finally get my Company Veterans kit together with the Deathwing Assault box with the new DA upgrade bits aswell!

Well in March I would of been working on my dark angels for a year - and seeing as it’s been awhile since I’ve done an army update im thinking big anniversary video?
The ancient bearer was such a pain in the ass for my black Templars. These are some proper nice conversions 👍

that really big book is meant to mount on landspeeder hoods. So if you want to convert one up for the ravenwing you can do it

Nice conversions! I probably spend more time kitbashing and converting my DA than I do painting them
Oh I could easily fall into that, however I do try and paint up what I kitbash (and have achieved that 99% of the time) as I also like to keep my backlog fairly small

I really want to do a kitbash of these guys. Captain to Zabriel, Champion to Kai, heavy bolter to Lohoc, Ancient to Launciel. Not sure who I’d convert the boltgun guy to
I’ll be honest I have no idea who any of those people are so ill have to look them up, however it’s a great idea to theme a squad on characters!

Die Idee finde ich sehr gut. Ein Leitfaden um es auch auf andere Orden anzuwenden.
Hätte man sich auch die Mühe gemacht, sämtliche Gießgrade und Angüsse ordentlich zu entfernen/ verschleifen wäre das Endprodukt noch besser geworden.
Nach der Bemalung werden diese sichtbar und sehen einfach nicht schön aus.
Citadel Modelle kosten schon Geld, man sollte sich die Zeit nehmen die Modelle ordentlich zu bauen.
Die Modelle wurden vor dem Lackieren nicht vollständig gereinigt/vorbereitet. Weitere Aufräumarbeiten werden im Laufe der Zeit durchgeführt, was auf die Art und Weise zurückzuführen ist, wie ich in Unterbaugruppen arbeite
Some nice kitbashes. The one thing about primaris command that bugs me is how tall the banners are. If a "mini" marine was 7ft a primaris must be 8-9. Thats like a 20ft tall pole!😂😂
Oh if your mixing 1st born and primaris the banners are very noticeable in height
So ridiculous idea for the heavy bolter, instead of the blast shield just drill a barrel sized hole in the emblem.
Love it, was going to try and add the sword part back in however it would of involved some cuts to the angled lip of the blast shield, and I didn’t want to take the chance of messing up a cut and it ending up a bit jank. - having said that I’m wondering if something can be 3D printed to make something like this work

I don’t have a PÓ box - bits are always welcome - will have to sort out a way to receive them
