I'm amazed at the amount of money people spend to tune up an engine that's designed to deliver something like 50hp that's not going to handle the power that this high-displacement kit is going to produce. If I'm wrong please correct me.
you're wrong. you can double the hp and suffer no decrease in reliability. People have been modifying these engines for half a century, it's real obvious by now what works and what doesnt etc
@@vayabroder729 I can hear a whine there when the motor is revved and was uncertain of whether it was the serpentine belt drive or the cam drive, so I asked if it had a straight cut gear. Does that clarify to your satisfaction?
Solid daily set up.
Very cool
nice!!!
It needs next size up exhaust and J pipes . so it can breath better.
And valve sizes
Ficou top a máquina , chik o motor , gostei que eu vi um esticador de correia
💯👍
I'm thinking of building the same set up. Any idea what the HP you're getting from that?
Depending on compression ratio, usually 90-110hp. Which is a really nice sporty setup, with good mpg if tuned correctly.
Hi, May I have your permission to use your latest clip in a compilation?
Thanks!
Idf carbs jetting ?

Straight cut cam gear?
Doesn’t sound like it; you would hear the whine of a straight cut gear.
@@vayabroder729 A sound I'm familiar with as i have one in my bug :)
@@martinharris5017 Good for you; why couldn’t you tell the difference?

Don’t want to sound like a know if all but that’s a 4 cylinder 356 or beetle engine not from 1915 maybe around 1955-65
Definitely an early engine cause it have the 2 bolt round port not the rectangle port
1915 is the displacement. It's also has dual port heads which are later heads (71 and up).
No worries about sounding like a 'know it all' You certainly don't.
1,915 cc displacement, you dope!
