@carmenmariacortesmarin2664 My Father is 2nd generation born in the USA after his Grandparents immigrated from Norway. Dad didn't speak English until he went to 1st grade. He's now 93 and has taught us kids bits and pieces of Norwegian. No problem asking at all !!

All of them are beautiful, but there was something that attracted me more about Norway. Lost a pair of sunglasses in a glacier crevasse, but thank God I didn't fall in! Or goal as a family was to keep my Dad, or Papa, and Big C here into the new year and he is still here. Stage 4 adenocarcinoma, wakes up smiling, laughing thru the day. And has plans for this spring. God will take him in his time but we are making the most of everyday!!

Tears of Happiness and Joy. Yes the day we celebrate our Savior's Birth. Glad Gabby is dried in and that time was made for the family. I can say that as we get older and the kids set up their own families and not always then we have the memories with the joy we remember those special moments. What an awesome year, finished the house, new horse barn, and Gabby dried in! We made good progress on our Idaho dream as well. Driveway, pump house, propane line, waterline and power line and pole barn are in.

I love Eli. Everything looks fantastic. I think for the coming year you need to finally name your homestead/farm. You got enough buildings, livestock, garden/orchard that now requires an official name. I would name that farm and get a plaque to put on the gate, the property deserves it. If I missed what you are going to name it, I missed it. What you have created needs a name.

Wife of a painter here. There is a tool made for using ladders in stairwells. It's called a Pivot Tool. Sherwin Williams stores carry them in stock. They have others uses, too.

Garage doors are perfect. You have a good eye for design. I had a similar situation once with an inaccessible stairwell, and I opted to build a quick working platform over the hole and finish it that way. Your way is probably safer though.

Watching the kids open their gifts brought me to tears. Even though I spent Christmas with my 30 year old daughter in Portland, seeing the kids brought back memories of when my daughter was little. I am so glad the title wasn't what I feared !!! If you have a a couple of scrap pieces of tin you can lay them upside down on the walls and zip tape to the garage area and help keep the weather off the door for temporary use

Hoping that one day after all the work is completed! If you're in a pinch about your screw gun situation, go to the big box stores and pick up a set of "Drywall Screw Setter" bits. They are Philips bits to be used on your drill just like any other bits, but has a collar on them that automatically stops overdriving screws and damaging drywall.
That's so exciting about Koda! I understand having to rehome an animal you love so much! I've always been a cat person ever since I can remember. The past few years though, my daughter really wanted a dog. Two dogs and one snake later, my daughter and grand daughter ended up moving, but was unable to bring the animals, so they stayed here with me. A few months ago someone posted a kitten that was found in the woods behind my house. An orange tabby, my absolute favorite! I didn't hesitate and got into contact, and a few days later I brought Azrael home! I was on cloud 9. I already loved him SO much! Then about one month ago, my daughter said she wanted to move back home. So along with her and my grand daughter, her fiancé will be moving with them. He's allergic to cats. 😭 I'm grateful one of my friends was able to give him a home, and she sends me updates.. It's just not the same 😞 💙
