      I think they built the house just to prove it can be done. I noticed that there is no egress window in the loft. Also, since none of the windows open, the house is going to trap moisture. However, it is a beautiful looking home. And it's amazing what they could do for so little money.

    • @estevens4654

      @@annesmith5192 Yes, i totally agree, that they did it just to show it can be done. Its a beautiful cozy home, and to actually build upon their ideal, and still be budget friendly, i would salvage windows, that open and close, as well as sliding. I can expand further on improvements, But it's turn into a whole construction plan, lol. All in all they did a awesome job.

    Don't forget to contact all the states you may pull it through for the oversized load permits. If you are 96" wide at the base, you are certainly overwidth with the roof overhang. And yes, D.O.T. officers will notice. The fines for running oversized without permits is crazy.

    • @dempseydoodles
      @dempseydoodles 7 місяців тому +17

      Great point! I was totally thinking the same. In MA the cost of a DOT oversize load permit can vary depending on the specific type of permit and the weight and dimensions of your load. Approximate costs:
      Annual permit: $250
      Temporary trip permit: $15 to $20 (valid for 72 hours)
      IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement) single trip permit: $20 (valid for 72 hours)
      Keep in mind that these costs are approximate and may change based on your specific situation. Additionally, there may be additional fees for overweight loads or loads that exceed certain dimensions. It's always best to check with the YOUR specific Registry of Motor Vehicles or a permit service provider for the most accurate and up-to-date information. Hope this was helpful for anyone curious!

      I have a feeling none of this build follows any kind of code or regulation. The violations would probably cost more than the entire build.

    • @dempseydoodles
      @dempseydoodles 7 місяців тому +8

      @@B.D.F. No violation. As long as you pull the proper permits to tow, you’ll/they’ll be fine. Otherwise, yes, a fine will be imposed.
      The parameters are simple enough though: max width is 8’ 6”, max height is 13’ (pavement to roof peak).
      Any taller and wider will need a permit to tow.

    Asking a real estate agent whether you should buy a home right now is like to asking an alcoholic whether they think you should have a drink lol. Homes in my neighborhood that cost around $450k in sales in 2019 are now going for $800 to $950k. Every seller in my neighborhood is currently making a $350k profit. Simply unreal. In all honesty, deflation is what we require. The only other option is for many people to go bankrupt, which would also be bad for the economy. That is the only way to return to normal.

    • @Franklin-gq4si
      @Franklin-gq4si 5 місяців тому +7

      Home prices will come down eventually, but for now; its best to offset some of your real estate investments and get into the financial markets or gold. The new mortgage rates are crazy, add to that the recession and the fact that mortgage guidelines are getting more difficult. Home prices will need to fall by a minimum of 40% (more like 50%) before the market normalizes. If you are in cross roads or need sincere advise on the best moves to take now its best you seek an independent advisor who knows about the financial markets.

    • @BernardFrederick-tk7un

      Since the outbreak of 2020, which significantly affected the market, I've been consulting an investment coach before making any investment decisions because their entire philosophy is built around employing a high-profit orientated plan while simultaneously trading long and short, as well as decreasing risk exposure as a hedge against inevitable downtrends. When coupled with their access to odd data and analysis, underperformance is virtually impossible.

      Gospel of Jesus Christ John 3:16 For God So loved the world that he gave his only Begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not Perish but have Everlasting Life. Jesus Christ Died for the sin of the World, If you believe in ur heart God risen Jesus from the dead and confess him with ur mouth to people you shall be saved. Jesus said I Am The only way to heaven there is no other way! Repent of urs sins (Repent means Change ur Mind turning away from sinful things and being truly sorry for it.) trust Jesus and give ur life to him He Loves you cares about you more than anyone ever will! we are saved By Grace Trough Faith!,this is sin: Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death but the gift of eternal life in our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 3:23 For all have sined and felt short of the Glory of God. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Romans 1:18‭-‬21‭, ‬23 KJV Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9‭-‬10 REPENT OR YOU WILL PERISH REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL GET RIGHT WITH GOD LORD JESUS CHRIST.

    Water is your biggest enemy in construction, and youre going to find that out in a year or so. the sheathing gaps, and screw heads needed to be waterproofed. the gaps between the window frame and rough opening needed to be waterproofed, you should have added flashing above the window heads, and probably a flashing sill pan at the sill of the window. Others mentioned the bottom of the trailer, which should have had a protectant layer for the foam form getting wet.

      The increasing prices have impacted my plan to retire at 62, work part-time, and save for the future. I'm concerned about whether those who navigated the 2008 financial crisis had an easier time than I am currently experiencing. The combination of stock market volatility and a decrease in income is causing anxiety about whether I'll have sufficient funds for retirement.

      This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800k

      I recommend checking out Jeff Paul's shortcut to internet millions. For the low cost of 14 yearly payments of 19.99 in perpetuity you can have your own turn key internet business. Before Jeff Paul's shortcuts I was digging sewage ditches on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur. Now I've bought my 3rd home and even installed an outhouse for the immigrant family that lives in a home depot shed in the back of my lot after I subjugated them into indentured servitude. Furthermore I finally transitioned to fit my new female gender status. My son is graduating with a degree in gender studies and my husband can finally call me his wife without looks of confusion.

    There's a reason windows aren't built like that, any expantion or warping in the wood the frame is made from and the glass will crack, and it lookes like it will be a hassle to replace it. But is you cut one of the sides of the wood out and expand it a bit, you might be able to install a new piece of glass from the side and add some glass galzing that is designed to brevent cracking due to expantion in the wood.
