You all have always been such a breath of fresh air…with all this craziness going on around us, your videos have always put a smile on my face. I always think back to when our four kids were little and the adventures we had or just the day to day things…how I miss it all. Our son moved out a month ago and we are officially empty-nesters. However, I don’t feel too sad because my son and I work in the ER at the same hospital and he just seems to know when I need a hug and he doesn’t care who’s around. Lol. Anyway…I truly enjoy your videos. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. God bless 🥰

I always worry I might bug him if I call him because I know his life is busier than mine, but I decided today I'm gonna reach out anyway. Even if it's just to hear his voice if he has to say "MeeMaw, I'm busy, can I call you back later?" Empty houses are the worst.

I thot empty nest would kill me…but I found hobbies and also learned to relax.
And do reach out to your kids and grands…sometimes we all get too busy to call…which is a shame, but it is a busy life between our church, keeping the little grandkids for my daughters, or just keeping my house up for my husband and I. I also have a hobby that has turned into a small side job of refinishing furniture. My 83 yo mom just called me and it felt so good!

TO SAY TIME IS FLEETING wait until you get into your 70s . I can not believe that I have been retired for 9 years ; that I have been a widower for almost 4 years and that I existed on my own for all that time. The weeks stampede ahead relentlessly and continue to allow me to recall all the past times is remarkable and to still remember them awesome . Looking forward to the next decade to be overwhelmed by the time that I still have available. My motto is to live each day my way regardless of the either over whelming amount I do or the least amount of activities . It is my choice and I live by it

The filming of the project, the lovely antics of the family, the animal closeups, the scenery, the skyline, the music, your shared wisdom (at 80 your words--2.5 yrs gone in the blink of an eye) are sooo true! Your wisdom at such an early age is profound as well as to have a partner who supports you, gives you nourishment ❤, and is every bit a soulmate is most encouraging, I believe, for all your followers. In regards to the barn, 60w x 40d makes sense to put an arena area in the back or side for the horses and other livestock when needed.
You could always build runs off the side towards the pasture.
Add a lean for hay on the other side.
Idaho in some parts don't melt until May. Enjoy the snow. Should help with crops come drought and heat.

Awesome video folks, really did a good job on the well house and the looking at the ground print of the horse barn to come. Your outdoor spa is fantastic and invigorating especially in the winter time, and healthy too. Stay safe and keep up the fun. Fred.

Hi Y'all Go with the larger barn. No Regrets! Nevaeh we didn't see you in this video until the hot tub was open????? All your pets and animals are looking great. Kenji just loves to be with you no matter how cold it is. I love the cats on the fence posts, the horses rolling in the snow and the sheep pushing the rabbit away from the hay so he could eat it. The whole video is Priceless!

Kaimani is turning into a bit of a beast isn’t he??? Very impressed with you guys! I had to chase a rock out of the bottom of my unheated pool last week and thought I was gonna die after about 45 seconds 😂. Gotta admit, it did feel kinda good after!!!

I like your clips of the hot tub. Nice addition to the homestead! In the Yukon people would have hair freezing contests when it was at least-20 to -40. The winner had the most crazy hair do😄

It's Saturday again and always looking forward to another episode of my favorite UA-cam family!
A few years ago I built my storage building and also installed tongue and groove on the overhang! Y'all did a great job and it looks really good!
I personally think you have lost your mind standing in the cold! 🤣 But you're probably right about it being good for you!
I was enjoying this video then Melissa began her monolog and once again it stirred the emotions!
Love you guys! ❤ thank you for sharing and I hope you have a wonderful week 😊
