Thumbs up for warning people that fume rags can spontaniously combust, not enough people know this and way too many garage fires start this way!

I was thinking of doing this with Linseed Oil never thought of waxing it. My Truck is Primer though and I was going to primer it again.

I used linseed oil before and it gets sticky attracting dust. It’s also hard to get off. There might be a product you can add to the linseed oil to make it not sticky but I just bought the patina sauce for my next project

@@HillDwellerFeller I did put the linseed oil at first I tried diluting it with Mineral Spirits which made a mess and also didn't work bc My Truck being primered it just Dried up quick. I used the pure linseed oil and although it was a little sticky for a day or so it really shined and all the Trucks angles caught the light and made the primer look fresh. I'm going to paint it but I still got alot to do before I get to that.

Just sanded the roof of my ‘60 comet that’s got half a old earl scheib job peeling off. Started with green scotch bright and dish soap. Then 1200 and 1500 haven’t even used foam pad or polish yet and I’m thrilled with the results. Next step is penetrol. 🤓🧼🧽

The truck looked great before you started on it. The existing real patina and faded paint were perfect and probably would not change much in the next ten years.

Love it, but is clr a little harsh or no? Just wondering

Not for the heavily oxidized areas like the roof on this truck. I think the sweet patina all purpose cleaner was perfect for the rest of the truck.

Hey Josh can you tell me what kind of pressure washer you’re using? Sounds interesting.

I picked up an electric 2,500 psi pressure washer from Lowe's. It works great for washing the trucks!

@@motortopiaondemand does it eliminate hard water spots? You said something about an ionizing pressure washer.
