My buddy, @pdcustoms , and I met the Sweet Patina guys down in Austin at the Lonestar Roundup. Seemed to be a great team. If I had thought about it more, I would have picked up some of their products instead of just some t-shirts.
I havnt met him face to face, but we’ve interacted quite a bit on Instagram. Look forward to meeting him when he’s in Columbus for the Good Guys show this summer. Thanks for watching, and I seriously cannot recommend their products enough.

Use Line seed oil
Linseed oil remains very sticky. Like I said in the video, we’ve used it in the past. This dries with a hard finish that’s neither sticky or “wet” looking, which linseed oil also produces. Thanks for watching.
Oil based, wouldn’t that make it a dust magnet and wouldn’t Armor All do the same thing at a fraction of the cost? It’s dusty here and I just don’t see how anything that’s not gonna dry to a hard finish would be anything but a mistake for me.
It’s oil based, but finishes hard and more “dull” than “wet”. Linseed oil attracts dust and remains pretty sticky. I suspect armor all wouldn’t last more than a week or two under UV and normal driving conditions.
On the squarebody did you use rustoleum paint for the base then the summit clear and did you wipe on the clear or spary it
Used a 2stage automotive enamel with hardener for the base, Wiped on the clear from VGG…several times. Turned out the same every time. Eventually used summit Hot Rod Satin Clear through a spray gun.

How is it looking after 2 mos?
Still looks great. Though it’s been parked outside that entire time, due to space constraints in the garage right now. I think I’ll do it again and put a little heavier coat on, let it sit longer before wiping it dry and see if the shine holds a little longer.
