Transmission Fluid Change Jeep TJ | NSG370 6 Speed Manual

Video tutorial on how to change the transmission fluid in the jeep wrangler tj with the nsg370 6 speed manual transmission for years 05-06. Step by step as well as tools needed to complete the job. Hope this videos helps. Some jeeps left the factory with out enough transmission fluid in them so if you have this transmission I would just change out the fluid and put in the proper amount. I used redline mtl fluid but just make sure whatever fluid you choose has the fame factory specs.

We just checked our 97 TJ two week’s ago, first time since we got it in May 2018. Ours has the 15/16 head instead of the hex heads, think that was 97, 98 & 99 years. It was still Full at the fill plug so for now that will do but would like to see how dirty the magnet 🧲 is this spring. I hear the synchronizers are brass and needs a specific fluid 🤷🏻‍♂️ what say you.?? Our 97 was Actually made during the shut down, changeover year of 96, so it’s a VERY Early 97.😎👍
