Wish they would make the 365xmacro with the comp AND Safety. I had to buy an extra comp slide (Spectre only available) for my MS P365 pistol. $500 extra. Wish the manual safety option was offered in the custom builds also. Great video though
There’s a UA-camr called SigGuy that sells a jig to notch out the grip module on any P365 to add the manual safety and all P365 FCUs will accept the manual safety… all total it costs less that $75 to upgrade any non manual safety P365 to have a manual safety… I’m getting ready to add the manual safety to my AXG LEGION just as soon as I build up the courage to cut into the aluminum grip module!
I'm glad I came across this video. I remember when the X-Macro came out and it was touted as the one with the integrated compensator. I was confused when I visited my gun counter and they had 2 of them and neither had a comp. I was almost arguing with them that they were mislabeled because they had no comp. Its so hard to keep up with these manufacturers and their releases. I still love the FCU and the ability to swap out components. No need to buy several guns to cover different roles. That has been a real game changer.
So, is there any difference between the 9mm XL Rose and the XL Spector besides the grip and mag? Do they shoot the same? I know the Spector costs more, and I hear it shoots very well, but I can't find a good shooting video/review of the 9mm Rose.
I have been considering a 365 to my rotation and struggled with which model to purchase. This is the best & most straightforward explanation of the Sig 365 line up I have seen! Thanks so much for taking the time to walk us through the many options. I finally know what to purchase 😊
Cool video! I didn’t get much of the Sig booth because they were always so busy. And I wasn’t smart enough to ask about doing videos before the show floor opened. Lesson learned.
If the grip is longer. Might as well have the slide full size. A short slide has no advantages, i.e., conceal carry. The grip is what projects out. That's just for my everyday use.
I have had 5 different P365s, currently still have a manual safety 10 round P365 that has been Gucci’d up by Wilson Combat (custom slide work, WC sights, Gray Guns trigger and WC grip module) and an AXG LEGION, but my biggest regret was trading in my original OG P365 SAS with the ported barrel and slide! I didn’t need to trade it for the money, I just didn’t see why I needed two 10 round P365s… Now every time I go into a gun store I’m looking for a used ported SAS in good condition! The main reason I traded was because I wanted the manual safety on my carry gun… Now I know I could have added it for 50 bucks! I guess you live and learn!
Oh my goodness!!! I know this video is a year old but it just popped up in my feed… I just about 💩 myself when she made the comparison of the P365 to a Swatch Watch!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! From this day forward I will forever refer to my SIG P365s as the Swatch Watch of guns!!! (And yes, I have had more than one P365 and currently have a custom Wilson Combat 10 round OG P365 and an AXG LEGION P365…)
@@JennyJ1911oh now now… You aged yourself in the intro montage well before the Swatch Watch comment with the Princess Leia clip!!😂😂 But don’t feel bad, I felt my joints cracking right along with you while I was laughing!😂
did i miss something or did they skip over the difference between the P365 X and p365 XL? it seems like they get grouped together but i think there is a difference. isnt the p365 X just a longer grip where the p365 XL also has a longer slide?
I am late by 2 months, but the x and XL have the same grip , the x have 3.1 inch barrel while the XL have 3.7 inch barrel. Both of this guns can accommodate the new 17 Rnd magazine That's how understood this
I just bought a 365 XL and I've got a question about it I noticed when I first got it and dry fired it and hold the trigger down to reset it you couldn't get the slide to move I saw another UA-cam video about it and they say it ages of the more but my question is does it wear down the internal parts by doing that
I’ve seen complaints & a few videos about it. However, I’ve had several models & so have friends of mine, and none have had issues with rust or jams. I’ve seriously never had a malfunction in over 15k rounds between 2 copies I still have.
This video is explaining it all so very well SIG should feature it on their website.
Think the 365x seems like the best model for me
see, i think it makes more sense to get the p365, you can always put a 12 round mag in it and its essentially a p365 x.
@@mtnbound2764that’s all? 100% true?
This video answered a lot of my questions about the 365 line.
Great video to clear up what was a confusing 365 scenario. Sig has really made the most of the 365 platform.
I agree, Rich B.!! They have done their research and have a very well-thought out product.

Oh, Jeff, I'm not even CLOSE to done yet. I have tons of NRAAM videos to get put out yet!! Trying to get one a day done. 😁
You didn’t go over the new P365 xl rose. Thanks so much for your content.
The P365XL Rose is just a P365XL with rose gold colored controls and a compensator (like the P365XL Spectre has, but $300 less).
So, is there any difference between the 9mm XL Rose and the XL Spector besides the grip and mag? Do they shoot the same? I know the Spector costs more, and I hear it shoots very well, but I can't find a good shooting video/review of the 9mm Rose.

Best I watched. Add the Rose and Fuse!
Please do something in the P365 other than 9mm. How about a 1.5 stack .45acp.
Nah
I love my P365 XMacro with a Holosun 407kX2
With a custom holster out of Michigan from a small company called Legacy Holster.
Love it.
I’ve got the 365 X Macro comp with a Holosun 507k green dot and I really like it. It has over 1000 rounds through it without a single failure.
But I went on Sig website and try to build a 365 and couldn’t add the thumb safety on the one I was trying to build
I agree. Don’t understand why the manual safety option isn’t included in any of the custom builds
@@buckeyerob3744you can add them aftermarket, such as one from grayguns

Thanks again

Hey So is the P365X a micro or sub compact.
Nice tutorial

Im still not sure what i got its a 365x but holds a 17 round mag? Anyone know?
X macro maybe ?
FYI…in sales you never ever offer more than three models to a customer. It just confuses them, hence here we are you trying to explain them.

Wouldn’t the long slide P365 be the P320?
No, it's much smaller than the P320. After handling the P365, the P320 feels like a 2x4!
