Great choice. I carried the original 365 for about 4-5 years until I was ready to upgrade. Did a ton of research, spent over 2 months going back and forth, trying them out in person, and for concealed carry, settled on the 365x. And I couldn’t be happier. I want them ALL, but personally, subjectively, the X has absolutely everything I was missing. Paired with a holosun 407 I couldn’t be more confident. I’m curious to see what comes next, for me
Cool video! I didn’t get much of the Sig booth because they were always so busy. And I wasn’t smart enough to ask about doing videos before the show floor opened. Lesson learned.
I have been considering a 365 to my rotation and struggled with which model to purchase. This is the best & most straightforward explanation of the Sig 365 line up I have seen! Thanks so much for taking the time to walk us through the many options. I finally know what to purchase 😊
So, is there any difference between the 9mm XL Rose and the XL Spector besides the grip and mag? Do they shoot the same? I know the Spector costs more, and I hear it shoots very well, but I can't find a good shooting video/review of the 9mm Rose.
I just love my SIG P365 X-Macro non comp version. I added 2 additional mags so I have 3 17rd 1 21 Rd mags. Upgraded to the Radian Backstrap and Magwell. Added the Holosun 407k X2 Green. Got my Holster from Legacy Holster out of Michigan Small company but man they do great work. My 2nd holster from Legacy Holster. It's a flat shooting, just easy to carry and nice looking weapon.
Wish they would make the 365xmacro with the comp AND Safety. I had to buy an extra comp slide (Spectre only available) for my MS P365 pistol. $500 extra. Wish the manual safety option was offered in the custom builds also. Great video though
There’s a UA-camr called SigGuy that sells a jig to notch out the grip module on any P365 to add the manual safety and all P365 FCUs will accept the manual safety… all total it costs less that $75 to upgrade any non manual safety P365 to have a manual safety… I’m getting ready to add the manual safety to my AXG LEGION just as soon as I build up the courage to cut into the aluminum grip module!
I'm glad I came across this video. I remember when the X-Macro came out and it was touted as the one with the integrated compensator. I was confused when I visited my gun counter and they had 2 of them and neither had a comp. I was almost arguing with them that they were mislabeled because they had no comp. Its so hard to keep up with these manufacturers and their releases. I still love the FCU and the ability to swap out components. No need to buy several guns to cover different roles. That has been a real game changer.

@@JennyJ1911oh now now… You aged yourself in the intro montage well before the Swatch Watch comment with the Princess Leia clip!!😂😂 But don’t feel bad, I felt my joints cracking right along with you while I was laughing!😂

I have had 5 different P365s, currently still have a manual safety 10 round P365 that has been Gucci’d up by Wilson Combat (custom slide work, WC sights, Gray Guns trigger and WC grip module) and an AXG LEGION, but my biggest regret was trading in my original OG P365 SAS with the ported barrel and slide! I didn’t need to trade it for the money, I just didn’t see why I needed two 10 round P365s… Now every time I go into a gun store I’m looking for a used ported SAS in good condition! The main reason I traded was because I wanted the manual safety on my carry gun… Now I know I could have added it for 50 bucks! I guess you live and learn!
Did I miss what the 365s is about... is it the one that holds 17 rounds.. I've ownd 2 365xls.. Rather have the trigger on the glock and the ruger with the safty gadget on the trigger..
I went with the X Macro w/o COMP slide. Fits my hand really well(5.2 height), 17rd+1 mags but still easily concealable. For the size, dont really need the compensated barrel.
If the grip is longer. Might as well have the slide full size. A short slide has no advantages, i.e., conceal carry. The grip is what projects out. That's just for my everyday use.
I just bought a 365 XL and I've got a question about it I noticed when I first got it and dry fired it and hold the trigger down to reset it you couldn't get the slide to move I saw another UA-cam video about it and they say it ages of the more but my question is does it wear down the internal parts by doing that
did i miss something or did they skip over the difference between the P365 X and p365 XL? it seems like they get grouped together but i think there is a difference. isnt the p365 X just a longer grip where the p365 XL also has a longer slide?

It’s a P365XL grip module with an original length slide that is optics ready. The new 17 round magazine fits in the XL grip but protrudes out the bottom a bit. If the mag fits flush, then you have the XMacro grip module

@BestBecky78 sig sauer beta tests their guns on their customers. Look up a video called how the p320 cost sig millions. It's a documentary on sig and all the shady things they've been up to. At the end of the day if you like how the gun shoots, and how the gun feels then go ahead and get it. But make sure you shoot it first. I'd go to my local range and rent some guns to try before you buy. Don't listen to what anyone tells you. What 1 person likes you may not. Every gun is different for a lot of people. The only reason why I don't like any of sigs newer guns is because they could care less of their customers. They have a gun called the P320 and it goes off without you pulling the trigger. There are a lot of cases where this has happened to civilians, and police and people have gotten hurt. It's a well known issue that sig has, but instead of owning up to their guns going off on people by itself, they blame the person using their gun. It's crazy af. Watch the documentary.
This video is explaining it all so very well SIG should feature it on their website.
This video answered a lot of my questions about the 365 line.
