Cool! Up until a few months ago, my EDC for 22 years has been a Sig P239. One of the best shooting guns I've owned. Every time I pickup up something new, I end up re-holstering the P239 after a couple weeks.
I'm very much a Sig fan. I carry a P320 Compact with apex flat trigger (shoe only) and Wilson Combat grip module. That being said, my favorite carry OWB is a P229 in a Bravo Concealment kydex holster. Extremely concealable with a good gun belt (Kore Essentials). My point, the P229 is a great edc and was actually designed for that purpose. Secondly, the P229 and CZ P01 are my favorite compacts of all time. IMO
The P226 out shoots all others , you won't want to carry under your belt but as a duty or a home defense pistol it just can't be beat. If you don't have one you owe it to yourself to save up and buy one . You will never regret it.

I love 1911’s so the SAO makes sense, it’s a great platform with high capacity, great sights, super accurate and the best Sig trigger hands down, what’s not to love. I’ve owned a compact P250 in .45acp and it was a great gun, not really well received IMO but I liked it and it was extremely accurate as well. You just can’t go wrong with Sig Sauer, plain and simple.
Awesome lineup, thanks for sharing !! I bought a new P228 in 1993 (W. German), which is hands down my favorite Sig. This pistol gets attention every time I take it to the range. Effortless and pin point accurate, such a pleasure to shoot.

I’m aSig man. I own a P229 ENHANCED ELITE .40, AND P226 SCORPION ELITE .9MM. I CARRY THE P229 ELITE EVERYDAY. these all metal guns are great. Expensive but worth every dollar.
I'm a Sig maniac so love this video. So many it gets confusing. Have 2 P320's and a Sig P365xl.Thought I had alot of Sigs. To update just bought the P229 Legion and it may be the best gun I have ever shot. Wow!
The 229 Legion is my favorite gun too. Hands down. Pricey, but like the old saying goes, sometimes you get what you pay for. That trigger (and that RESET!) are the icing on the cake.
The P365 is a great gun, but when people say they've "never seen anything like it" before I get a good chuckle. Kel-Tec had a 10 round P365 sized gun way back in 1995 called the P11. 23 years before Sig released the P365. If anything Sig ripped of Kel-Tec, because the dimensions on the P365 are identical to the P11. Height, barrel length, weight, capacity. Everything. Of course Sig made it much more reliable (eventually), but Kel-tec like many other designs did it first!! P226 is and always will be the best Sig though.
I'm working on a set of the P2xx. I've got P227 (45ACP), P228/M11A1 (9mm) and P229 NitronC (357SIG). I've also got a Sig Ultra Compact 1911 (45ACP) and a P320 NitronC (357 SIG). I figure if I get a P220 and a P226 that'll be rounded as I want to be. For the P220 I would like 10mm and for P226 another 357 Sig.
There so many pistols that I like. That being said, Sig is my consistent choice in pistols. The P320 is a true platform which offers unlimited aftermarket that allows one to build their pistol.
Thank goodness 😅 finally a Sig Sauer fan. I have purchased the P238, P938, P320 Compact, P365XL, P365SAS, most recently the SP2022 and love them all for their various characteristics. I’m new to shooting for about a year and I own other pistols but Sig remains at the forefront.
@@jorgenavas6704 hard question for me if you wanna spend the money for another pistol I’m thinking it depends on what you’re after. All the P365s have a 15 round magazine capacity if you looking for greater capacity. Actually for home defense although I love all my Sigs my EDC now is a Kimber 45ACP Ultra II Carry 3” with 7+1 capacity and I also use it for home defense. Also, generally for home defense, I think you’re unarmed without a 12 gage pump shotgun somewhere in the mix using double 00 buckshot. Also, plenty of loaded extra 8 & 10 round mags for my 45ACP. Still I caution ⚠️ you’re asking the wrong guy I’m no expert. I’m a newbie and I know it. 😂 anyway good luck and take my advice cautiously as I’m still learning myself.
I came here from a marine friend saying they’re standard issue. I’ve been looking into glocks for a while but I never really liked their build and they felt kind of cheap. All of the attachments made it feel gimmicky. My pops let me shoot his 1911 at the range a few years ago and I love that gun, but not ideal for conceal carry. The mini 1911 in this lineup is absolutely awesome but the P365 with 10 rounds is phenomenal. The guns clicking and sliding actually sounds like guns. Definitely will be checking out this brand and may have found my sweetheart conceal carry.
I am a Sig Sauer fan! 5 out of 10 of my firearms are Sig Sauer. The very first gun I ever bought was a Sig Sauer p230 SL. I just bought a P365 this afternoon. Thanks for the video.. I’m now looking at an M17.
First Sig I ever shot was the Legion. Loved it. Was going to buy one but the price was way more than I wanted to spend. Was shown a VTac. Liked the feel & half the price of the Legion....sold. Then for an EDC, P320X Compact. I haven't had any issues with either. Love those night sites too.
I’ve owned 320’s (both 9mm&.45) Legions (226&229) 938’s, and 230’s. I settled on the P320sc, great appendix carry for me! Edit..sold the 320sc. Now I’ve finally found a great Sig (Stryker) pistol, the P320x compact w/Romeo 1Pro and Wilson grip module. Hands down the best 320 version to date!
Great collection! I have the Signess as well! I set out to collect one of each in the pistol line. Love’em all! SP2022 P220 P224 P225 P226 P227 P228 P229 P229 Legion P230 P238 P239 P320 X-Five P320 Compact P365 P938 M11-A1 MPX Only Sigs I have sold are the P290RS and P250. I would like to add a P210.
@@itscwillis1523 well, all quality pistols are still not revolvers - they are allowed to malfunction 1-2 times in say 3000-4000 rounds. My G20 and G17 also did that.........
Thanks for the review. I have a p365 and a p365xl with the new oath holster. Best holster I have seen. The clip really secures the firearm . Again thanks for all of the good reviews, i have been following you for some time now.
I hate the p250. And I don't hate anything. The pistol is pointless. It does nothing good and sucks at everything. Any other pistol on the market will outperform it in regards to speed and accuracy combined, Including revolvers!
the p250 is a great gun. I also started with revolvers and the trigger on the p250 was like breaking glass. Very expensive revolvers dont have triggers that good.
I've had my P229 since 09, and it's still my edc. I love it. I've had it so long that my next project is to send it in for a replacement on the night sights. the half life of the tritium has just about been reached. I agree about the trigger, I've only ever used/owned one pistol that has a better "right out of the box" trigger in the Jericho 941. (Another pistol i won't part with. Too heavy for an edc, but if some asshole was holding a human shield and i had one chance at a headshot, that would be my choice) Really the only problem I've ever had was the grips would slip a bit. If you tried cranking the screws tight enough they'd extend into the mag-well and cause it to hang up. I tried new grips, broke the head off a screw, nothing worked. Then i got some button head hex screws that i cut to length and the grips haven't moved since. I even prefer the look. I loved it with loose grips, i really love it now lol. *AND!!!* it will handle +P+ rounds! Tl;dr Buy a P229 it's the last EDC you'll ever need. ('Want' is different lol)
If I get a sig it’s going to be a p226, I just love that gun and I shoot it really well. The p320 I checked out at the range just had a really mushy trigger and bad reset and I didn’t care for it at all. I wanted to like it, I liked everything else about the x compact.
P265 also has a 12 round and there’s a 15 round manufacture I have P3 6510 round/dinner and a little Divet for my little pinky 12 round and a 15 round magazine use your 10 round at first for concealing then if needed the 12 - 15 round magazine. Both 12 & 15 can be put in an Ankle holster, belly holster or in your pocket
Just bought the sig 365 trying to rationalize why I don’t need the xl with the red dot also. Thinking the extra barrel length would be a pain to conceal carry in my waist band. Have the same holster as you and I keep it behind my front right pocket. Gun is so small I almost forget it’s there and I’m almost as accurate with it as my p229. Got the extended mag and it feels great in my hand.
Good informative video! I personally have a P226 MK25 sig that I like a lot, it was actually the first firearm I ever purchased. But I "need" another conceal weapon now. Been looking at Sig Sauer options again for that reason. Thanks for the information!
My first gun was the p320c I will never get rid of. Added the p80 grip mod. Feels super firm. Also have the p365 sas but I’m looking to swap the complete slide for the original p365 slide with sights. Can’t wait
He never sent his P320 in for a trigger upgrade. I did got it back in two weeks. They pay for all the shipping. Love the new trigger, it's like an Apex flat trigger.
Huge SIG fan. Owner of many SIG firearms and optics. However, you said the P229 Legion is the best shooting handgun they make. I own a P210 standard. Give that one a run if you haven’t already. It may change your mind lol. Good video, thanks.
Got a Light Tuck fir my P365XL. It is a great holster. Absolutely minimal size, good quality, very comfortable and doesn't print. I have trouble finding holsters that are comfortable, not bulky and are good quality. The Vedder Light Tuck checked all of those boxes.
Grabbed my XL and P220 right before the pandemic hit this year. Had plenty of firearms before that but wanted a new carry gun and a 45 for the house. Timing was perfect.
I like the sig design. I would love to get a sig p320 some day when money is available. I believe it would be a good EDC as well as home protection for my family.
the must have sig sauer platform is the old classic p series. that is if you dont mind the double action to single transition trigger and no rail. id take an old, loose slide fit trade in w. german p226 over any of the dog shit they are putting out today. the crap today does not compare in the slightest to the smoothness of the double and the glass rod break of the single of before.
The p227 has the potential to be a great pistol. I never understood they way they made options available on the p227.🤔 1. The tactical didn't 'originally' have front serrations or the option to come optic ready. 2. The variants with front serrations weren't available with a threaded barrel or optic ready. 3. The p227 rx wasn't available with a threaded barrel or front serrations. 4. The nail in the coffin was they then offered the p220 in *10mm!* and in a Legion variant. It's like sig made the p227 and almost single handedly did whatever they could to undermine it. A. If sig would have offered the p227 with a comprehensive feature set I would have bought a p227 instead of an 'FN FNX 45 tactical'. B. If Sig would have offered the p227 in 10mm I would have bought a p227 instead of a 'Tanfoglio Witness Stock III'. IDK, maybe it's just me.😕
P226, MK25? The P220, P227 what smooth shooter, M11A1, P229C one of my favorites, X5, X6, P210? Then the Elites and the Enhanced Elites... So many excellent SIGS
I just got my first sig about a month ago. P226 Legion. Now I'm hooked on Sig! Looking for a second sig to carry so this video was very helpful being as though it would be tough to find a dealer rn with the whole line up to put in hand.
The older sigs you showed (320's) are not drop safe. You can send them in to Sig to get them fixed. They will come back with that thinner trigger like the M17 has.
I checked al the comments and u are the only one who said something about there 1911 Spartan and Scorpion..it has the best trigger pull of any other SIG
@@TheRealZJE313 you are absolutely right. But literally they don’t work the same. It’s not even comparing apples and oranges. It’s like apples and turnips. Sure it’s a gun, with a trigger, but it’s a different animal. It’s an awesome animal but it’s can’t be compared to anything else. Love Love Love 1911. But I carry p365. (SAWC). “Size and weight constraints “
The p226/229 have the best location for a decocker I’ve ever tried. The HK P30 is a great handgun, but the location of the decocker is awkward and most variants have crappy triggers. I thought that a frame mounted safety/decocker like the FNX was the best option but I kept activating it during recoil (because my 1911 muscle memory makes me ride the frame safety all the time). Sig got the right position for the lever on the p226/229: it’s impossible to hit it by accident.
My choice?, P226 Elite 👍👍 good presentation ✌️ps, my polymer family is Full Size PDP, G17L, G4O, P99AS final edition, Steyr M9 C2 MF, VP9 SK, USP .45 Elite. Yes, I love 6.02" barrels.
This was an awesome video! I've been considering a p229. I have a p365. I put the flat trigger on it. It was easy to change. Bought the xl grip. Now I carry it both ways. Thee p229 is a well made firearm and very ergonomically made. Do any of you carry one?
Carried the P228 for a number of years on duty. Found a used P229 last year at my LGS . Flat trigger, and G10 grips. I like it a lot but it depends on your carry mode as it's heavy. Bottom line is the Classic series are great but you need to consistently practice the DA/SA trigger and master de-cocking lever.
@@johnanderson8856 thanks for the advice. I haven't had any experience with such firearm. I've been taking classes and training, even after I received my CPL. I take it as a great responsibility carrying a firearm.
Have both the p229 and p365. P229 is too heavy. IED only carry it if I was walking through the ghetto at night. It’s a real nice night stand gun but if it’s a night stand gun mite as well get a p226. I think the P365 and p365 XL are the best concealed carry guns you can buy.
I like the P365 XL, but the grip felt too slim in my hands compared to the Glock19. I’m new and trying different models out, I guess the P320 is next, if I like the Glock grip thickness. Right?
Legion P229 is range gun? Bruh... That is EDC. I have that in SAO with RXP. Whenever they put a romeo 2 on the Sig P220 Legion SAO I'm getting that for winter/open carry.
12:48 = best of the line-up (P320 M17) I'm biased being prior service Army and current USAF seeing that it's the Beretta M9 official replacement for the military but still, best of em all.
I have and am still a Springfield Armory fan. BUUUUUUUT, Sig is sure tickling my fancy. I have two P320s (a 9mm & a 357sig) and I just love the whole "Barbies for Men" option with colors, frame sizes, capacities, ect... I also have a 1st gen P365 which I've not even shot yet. My goal now is to save up for a P229 but man they are spendy. I can buy damn near THREE XD's for that LOL. Keep it up Sig! You may just pull me from Springfield!!!
Just got the P365XL a few weeks back, and shot it a week back. Not one malfunction, it ran great, and is my new concealed carry. Quick question, in some videos I see after the mag is empty and the slide locks back, they put in a new mag and hit the slide release and it chambers a new round when the slide moves forward. Well I guess my gun is excited to be shot, because when I push in a new mag, that forces the slide to go forward and it chamber a round, and I never had to hit the slide release. Is mine defective?
THIS also happened to me when I shot it for the first time. I also got it about 3 weeks ago. I shot a full mag and the slide locked back, then I put in a new mag and the slide automatically went forward w/o me pushing down on the slide stop at all. How many rounds have you shot through it??

Do you know the P320 compact nitron? Could you recommend it for home defense before the P365XL? greetings from Argentina!
This is not the "full line up" of Sig pistols.
It's his full line up
I'm working on a set of the P2xx.
@ C Irby. Good collection of SIG’s. Those 357 SIG’s are great shooting rounds. And what is interesting is that you can still find ammo for it!
There so many pistols that I like. That being said, Sig is my consistent choice in pistols. The P320 is a true platform which offers unlimited aftermarket that allows one to build their pistol.

I’m liking the X Carry and the p365xl.

@@jameslogan6127 Muchas gracias!!!
Wow, thank you for taking the time to do this vid! I’ll share with as many as I can that are considering their next pistol purchase!
I have a p365 NRA Edition and I have a XL NRA on layaway I enjoy the capacity and the concealment of them! Probably my favorite sig guns
I own 2 M17 handguns, I say go for it, it's amazing
First Sig I ever shot was the Legion. Loved it. Was going to buy one but the price was way more than I wanted to spend. Was shown a VTac. Liked the feel & half the price of the Legion....sold. Then for an EDC, P320X Compact. I haven't had any issues with either. Love those night sites too.
The Legion is awesome and the Sig combat p220 are something to have especially with Hornady ammo.
Much thanks. This video REALLY helps the decision process when considering Sigs.

Wow , you need to add the P229 Elite aswell then. Lol
Of all those sigs, which one is your favorite?
I know crazy question. But SP2022 vs P226? I have the SP2022 in .40 cal. Now looking to get the P226 in 9mm.
The Sigs and the HK s are probably my favorite pistol lines even though I love all other quality guns as well.
What about Glock the most reliable?
@@itscwillis1523 well, all quality pistols are still not revolvers - they are allowed to malfunction 1-2 times in say 3000-4000 rounds. My G20 and G17 also did that.........
Hk and Sigs !😎
Me too hk and sigs🤙

Thanks for the review. I have a p365 and a p365xl with the new oath holster. Best holster I have seen. The clip really secures the firearm . Again thanks for all of the good reviews, i have been following you for some time now.
Thanks for the feedback brother 👊
I grew up with revolvers, so I am a P250 fan. Love the smooth double action trigger. Very reliable and dependable. Love my Sigs;
Shout out to the ricochet that landed 10 feet in front of you at 13:15
I've had my P229 since 09, and it's still my edc.
Too heavy for an edc, but if some asshole was holding a human shield and i had one chance at a headshot, that would be my choice)
Really the only problem I've ever had was the grips would slip a bit.
*AND!!!*
it will handle +P+ rounds!
Tl;dr Buy a P229 it's the last EDC you'll ever need. ('Want' is different lol)
How about Sig Sauer SP 2022? Have you ever heard about this gun? I am very much surprised it is not on your list of Sigs.
If I get a sig it’s going to be a p226, I just love that gun and I shoot it really well. The p320 I checked out at the range just had a really mushy trigger and bad reset and I didn’t care for it at all. I wanted to like it, I liked everything else about the x compact.
This video assisted me on buying a P320-M18, very happy about it
P265 also has a 12 round and there’s a 15 round manufacture I have P3 6510 round/dinner and a little Divet for my little pinky 12 round and a 15 round magazine use your 10 round at first for concealing then if needed the 12 - 15 round magazine.
I own 10 Sig's. LOVE LOVE LOVE them!
Good informative video! I personally have a P226 MK25 sig that I like a lot, it was actually the first firearm I ever purchased. But I "need" another conceal weapon now. Been looking at Sig Sauer options again for that reason. Thanks for the information!
Hi, P226 MK25 was my first pistol as well. I got M18 and P365XL later. Love them all.
I own a Sig P226 and Sig P220. These are excellent pistols and they can’t be beat!!
My first gun was the p320c I will never get rid of. Added the p80 grip mod. Feels super firm. Also have the p365 sas but I’m looking to swap the complete slide for the original p365 slide with sights. Can’t wait
P226 owner....love it.
yeah, old school looks and most reliable
He never sent his P320 in for a trigger upgrade. I did got it back in two weeks. They pay for all the shipping. Love the new trigger, it's like an Apex flat trigger.
Huge SIG fan. Owner of many SIG firearms and optics. However, you said the P229 Legion is the best shooting handgun they make. I own a P210 standard. Give that one a run if you haven’t already. It may change your mind lol. Good video, thanks.
Vedder holsters are probably my favorite IWB holster. Love them.
I believe it would be a good EDC as well as home protection for my family.
the must have sig sauer platform is the old classic p series. that is if you dont mind the double action to single transition trigger and no rail.
id take an old, loose slide fit trade in w. german p226 over any of the dog shit they are putting out today. the crap today does not compare in the slightest to the smoothness of the double and the glass rod break of the single of before.
so with that said id suggest to you the old series first. but youre right the p320 series do look good. how is the trigger on those for you?
The p227 has the potential to be a great pistol. I never understood they way they made options available on the p227.🤔
IDK, maybe it's just me.😕
As a Big Glock Fan. I am lookin at switching.
i personally liked p320 m17 with 17 and 21 rounds of magazines with good hand grip and light weight to carry, perfect for home defence in my opinion.
Just got the p320 V-TAC... Absolutely an amazing gun and amazing trigger, crazy accurate!! Best gun I ever shot.
Just got a P320 X Vtac. Love it! I will definitely get another sig
GOT SIG.Yes I do.
P226, MK25? The P220, P227 what smooth shooter, M11A1, P229C one of my favorites, X5, X6, P210? Then the Elites and the Enhanced Elites... So many excellent SIGS
Hegshot, as a Sig man myself....thank you
I have a p225. Night sights. Yea its old design yet great.
I just HATE they didn’t make it at least 10rds but yes a GREAT gun
@@MrOhman86 yes agreed. Mine was one of the last us import and is now worth more then double what I paid so I'm happy.
I just got my first sig about a month ago. P226 Legion. Now I'm hooked on Sig! Looking for a second sig to carry so this video was very helpful being as though it would be tough to find a dealer rn with the whole line up to put in hand.
365 excellent!
Such an accurate gun, shots flat, easy to conceal.
Well I have two Sigs, the P365XL and the P320 AXG Scorpion. I must say, both are great firearms
The older sigs you showed (320's) are not drop safe. You can send them in to Sig to get them fixed. They will come back with that thinner trigger like the M17 has.
I really enjoy the P365. Also had a 1911 scorpion carry. Looking forward to having a M18.
Would like to see a video explaining the Sig numbering.
I checked al the comments and u are the only one who said something about there 1911 Spartan and Scorpion..it has the best trigger pull of any other SIG
@@TheRealZJE313 of course. Really can’t compare a 1911 trigger to anything else. Nothing like it. Literally.
@@jasonlessard2373 and that's on the cheap end. Just imagine a WILLSON COMBAT OR Nighthawk and the other hi end 1911s
@@TheRealZJE313 you are absolutely right. But literally they don’t work the same. It’s not even comparing apples and oranges. It’s like apples and turnips. I'm so used to the Beretta Air Force issue.r but I'm always willing to try something new.
Have a 320x compact and a 226 legion! Love them very much!!
You've got a very awesome collection my man!!
I love sig and my p229 legion I carry every day. I believe that you should always carry your best shooting weapon
Great review, I have the legion P229 & P226. I also have the P320 RXP. I agree with your review, spot on. Thanks
Great video. Well put together.
Have no words...beautiful.
My choice?, P226 Elite 👍👍 good presentation ✌️ps, my polymer family is Full Size PDP, G17L, G4O, P99AS final edition, Steyr M9 C2 MF, VP9 SK, USP .45 Elite. Yes, I love 6.02" barrels.
Got a P320 compact w/ wilson combat carry grip. Best handgun I've owned.
There is no other pistol! Once you afford a sig especially a p220 .45 you'll never go back.
Funny thing, you didn't have either of the 2 Sigs that I own. The P238-HD2 & the SP2022. I absolutely love my Sig Sauers!
I have a Sig P365 and I like it
Was really sold on the 229 then he said “just a range gun” which he went more in depth on that
I don’t know what the hell he was talking about myself🤣🤣🤣 definitely not a range gun maybe that’s just his opinion but it’s bullshit imjs
P229 is heavy. Definitely going to need a belt to carry it.
Got the p365 today, I’m getting the p938 next
I got the P365 just recently..going to wait on my p938 but definitely getting it aswell after i get the P229 Elite first
Full Sig lineup without a P210? This list is missing the best one.
I own a Sig P250, In 380 Auto. Pretty sveet pistol, IMO! Thanks for the share!!
12:48 = best of the line-up (P320 M17)
I'm biased being prior service Army and current USAF seeing that it's the Beretta M9 official replacement for the military but still, best of em all.
Just got one today! Happy 4th of July everyone!
Just shot my 365 XL last week. Completely outshined my shield 9mm I've been carrying for the last 2 years
Awesome video, i just bought the p365 for my wife. I am now looking at the p 320 xl
@@PepeFroggo Well I guess I am not the only one then.
I have ran around 120 or so Federal American Eagle FMJ 115 gr., and a few of their hollow points same grain.
This has been really helpful.
First had the p250 before the 320 came out but hated double action only, had the p226 in 40 but too big and heavy for its small capacity. Now getting the p365 and think thats the best of the best and gives glock a run for its money
