    It's really easy to- there is no difference they are all junk. You see the mossad has a venture capital division. And that money is only used to support jews, a la cohen. Oh, and they also help jews to steal the company if it was founded by a non-jew. Facebook, google, etc.

    FYI…in sales you never ever offer more than three models to a customer. It just confuses them, hence here we are you trying to explain them.

    Bought a used 52-2 from Cabela's. Got home and found that the hammer fell when the slide dropped manually. Wow. Hammer would not catch on the sear about half the time when racking the slide or "thumb-cocking". Took it back to Cabela's on the same day of purchase (who has a no-return policy) and they argued about the condition of the gun since all sales are "as-is". My position is that they sold me an unsafe firearm (they would not let me manipulate the firearm prior to purchase) which was dangerous for me, my family and those close-by when shooting. They said that they would send it to their "approved corporate" gunsmiths for repair. I cautioned against sending this pistol to a gunsmith that has no experience with the Model 52 series but they did it anyway. Sure enough, it returned with the same condition and a horrible trigger. Since they sold me a dangerous pistol and made the condition worse, they agreed to refund my purchase price. I was very dis-appointed since I had wanted a 52 for years.

    I'm glad I came across this video. I remember when the X-Macro came out and it was touted as the one with the integrated compensator. I was confused when I visited my gun counter and they had 2 of them and neither had a comp. I was almost arguing with them that they were mislabeled because they had no comp. Its so hard to keep up with these manufacturers and their releases. I still love the FCU and the ability to swap out components. No need to buy several guns to cover different roles. That has been a real game changer.

    I just stumbled across one of these with less than 100 rounds through it for $700 and pulled the trigger. I didn’t really know that much about it. After shooting and handling it, it’s imo the best 1911 for under $1000. It’s just a fantastic pistol.

    I don't think it's exactly fair to compare the generic white box Winchester rounds to the ones you are reloading, unless you are reloading to a similar spec. I would say the 70 cents per round figure is a bit on the low end because if you are reloading you are probably going to be reloading something a bit higher-end. I get that you have to make a comparison somewhere, so this is more food for thought than a stark criticism of your methodology. Also, during the pandemic, I couldn't find 9mm at any price, so there is something to be said for the ability to produce ammunition when times are lean (assuming you are accumulating components like you should be). In other words, WHEN that Winchester ammo was 70 cents a round and available is also important. Your reloading costs are going to be flat most of the time, again assuming you are properly hoarding components. Also, just throwing out there... if you can't find range brass, a good strategy is to actually just buy the 70 cent Winchester white box ammo, and fire it once yourself, and THEN reload it. I realized after buying a bunch of starline brass that the cost of brass when you buy it sometimes can be just as much as cheap ammo anyway, at least for higher end stuff.

    Crazy! Never was interested in 45 ACP until a buddy showed me a Springfield Armory TRP. Cabelas Bass Pro Shop $23 for 100 Starline brass, got 3 bags, $32 for 100 230g Hornady bullets. Sportsman's Warehouse $8 100 Winchester large Pistol Primers, $40 lb Titegroup. Mc Donald's employees minimum wage is $20/hr.

      Reloading dies about $75 or more.

    • @ChadBoss-qr4hl
      @ChadBoss-qr4hl Місяць тому

      You can cut those costs considerably. For example, pick up brass at the range. Another thing I do is go to a local Fudd gun store to get my bullets. There's one store where I can often find plain cardboard boxes of 500 bullets for under $50. That store also has open packs of components for a significant discount. Like the other day I got a similar pack of Hornady bullets to the ones you got that was missing 8, for I think $12. A lot of times some widow or grandkids will bring open stuff like that in to see what they can get for it. If you get into casting your own bullets it can get even cheaper. As far as the cost of the equipment, I figure that approaches zero over time, so I generally don't count it. And I also don't count an hourly rate for my time because it's a hobby. You are presumably doing it because you enjoy it, so that, in my opinion cancels the hourly rate for my time. For example, if you're hobby is mountain biking, I don't think it makes sense to conclude that because it took me 2 hours to bike somewhere, and my typical hourly rate is $50 an hour, I should have just taken the bus because it would have taken 15 minutes and cost $3.99 or whatever.

Maybe a lemon it could be but is weird all this problems in one gun with the same shooter

    I still have one of these guns made in 1961. Came from colt. Mine was serial number 900MR. The magazines were special. They only help for competition shooting. One in your hand has a bomar extension on it. I ran mine and Bullseye for 15 years. It is so tight. It’s unbelievable. You got a tinker with the recoil spring and match it to your hand load. After that it will run until you run out of ammo. Cost $175 in 1961. People offered me 3500. I heard what you just said. That thing from a ransom rest, like mine should shoot inch and a half. But you got a build a hand load. Nice to see One again.

    And you never showed us your 'patterns'... (shotguns shoot patterns, rifled arms shoot groups) I'm guessing by the flinching; you weren't particularly proud of your targets... Have your lead/blood levels checked, by the way the smoked stayed around that the ventilation system in that range isn't working properly. I had excessive lead levels from the indoor range where I used to work because the 'sucker' fans, downrange, didn't work.

    With reloading 357, I get an equivalent of 33% off every 50 rounds in todays market (2024), not including the taxes California charges, .0925 plus .11 ammo tax. so I’m avoiding 20.25% tax because I’ve already calculated the tax in materials and still got 33%, in total i save 53.25% by reloading my own 357!

      Not to mention, you don't need the government's permission to have ammo if you reload, or at least you need LESS permission. That would be the biggest draw of reloading for me if I lived in California. Having to do a background check to buy a box of ammo and letting the government know precisely what I have at any given time is a deal breaker for me.
