Nope...I'm with Melissa. I mist have my roots all around my head teased, too! My hair is just far too thin and fine to be flat as a pancake, no...my hair is flat as a piece of tissue paper! I just had my nightly shower and finally, once again tried derma rolling the spots where I spray my Minoxidil. And no matter what the length of my rollers...It pulls my hair out horribly. And it gets stuck, and it cuts my hair off every time! What am I doing wrong??? Anyone? thnxs Melissa! You must really have a great self image because I go out more and more these days with not doing my hair or wearing a stitch of makeup! I just don't seem to care anymore! UNLESS MY GROWN SONS AND DIL'S ARE GONNA SEE ME! I ALWAYS GET DRESSED NICE AND LOOK MY BEST EVERY SINGLE TIME I SEE THEM! I WANT THEM TO NE PROUD OF ME. But for everyday errands...not so much. I think I'm watching way too much news shows! our world is falling apart every where you look or turn! I'm really worried for our world, moreso now than ever before! I better go back to my movie networks!

When I was a little girl my mother did my entire head with rags. She had me sleep on it and in the morning my hair was curly unfortunately it didn't stay all day because my hair is very straight and the curl wouldn't hold. My mother wanted my hair to be curly for my First Holy Communion. I think that's what this concept is. I have been seeing woman posting these types of videos lately and it really brought me back to my childhood. My poor mother spent so much time wrapping my hair in those rags but as I said my hair is just naturally very straight.
That was really cool! You look so pretty even with your hair up in the curl. You could just wear that as an interesting kind of headband someday

Beautiful! When I do robe curls, I put it back further and do the part I want some lift kind of straight over the top- not grabbing the front piece yet. Then wrap in the front piece later so it curves at your cheekbones. Try that. I love heatless hair styles.

What an interesting product. I saw a bathrobe curl demo along time ago. I think it's a great way to get curls without heat damage. I like big hair too. With a lift at the crown as well. Turned out beautifully. Loved the demo. Do you remember the styrofoam noodles?? I have those and they work very well too. See you next time 👏👏👏🤗🤗❤❤❤

People have been doing with a t-shirt for a long time. You just roll it up and it gives a blowout look. It’s popular in India and other countries.

Hi Melissa, Your hair looks very pretty. The curls look really nice. When I was a little girl I would curl my hair with socks. That was back in the stone age when we didn't have hot rollers or curling irons. I sometimes still curl my hair with socks. They are thick socks and I put one on each side and tie the ends of the sock once. It stays all night, is soft and curls and soft and pretty (although no height at crown with the socks either). It saves time in the morning if I have to go out somewhere. I think this invention is great and it looks cute while you are wearing it. Thanks so much for the fun hair tutorial. Try to grab hair from the back to mix with the front pieces you are grabbing in the beginning so you can get curls on the crown… by starting the curl sooner you will get a fuller look at the crown.
Takes some practice but worth it as I too want my crown to have some curls on it… not just to have a flat crown with curls only at the bottom as I have a lot of layers.
It’s not shown on any video just a tip I use when using these types of heatless curls to maintain my Dyson Air-Wrap curls every night.
If I don’t use some type of a heatless curling at night before bed my curls don’t last as I don’t like hair products on my hair at all and now live in humid Florida.
I do many heatless curls but this is definitely my favorite.

Hi beautiful Melissa! Yes I follow Tammys ageless beauty and she introduced a lot of her viewers to wrapping your hair in the bathrobe rope...I have long hair like Tammy, and I love the way my hair turns out. I probably won’t invest in that device that you bought because it’s not long enough for my hair but I do think the way you wrap your hair is much different than the way Tammy taught us how to do it. In essence, Tammy taught us to kind of braid our hair onto the robe strap. You show bringing the hair forward and around and grabbing clumps of hair. So I will have to try this method of wrapping and see how differently the curls come out.Thank you so much for showing all these different methods of getting curls in our hair. I get lots of compliments when I use this method and when you are traveling, packing a bathrobe strap is a lot less weight than a curling iron and you can sleep on it overnight and Wala you have curls in the morning. Yes I looked at Tammy‘s video and followed it too and had wonderful outcome with the bath robe tie curls. I remembered sort of like you said braiding it around the tie. In this one you just pick up chunks. So it would probably get a different curl. Anyway you take care and thank you. 🥰🥰🥰

Hi Melissa these things are always interesting, but truthfully I have naturally curly hair. My hair has a bit of a mind of it's own though and there is no such thing as uniform curls on my head lol. Some random bits are straighter and I pin curl those so they blend in. I can remember my gran teaching me how to pin curl when I was young. I've seen a few videos on this technique and I think the silky material will help make the hair less frizzy, but the wire will make it easier to control what you're doing. I've also seen a helmet thing with eight "legs" to do this with. In any case probably a bit better for the hair than a hot curling iron, but you could use the iron to fix any random pieces that didn't turn out as well (or the top) - still less heat than a full head. I just spent almost $60 on a "kit" from Bunny something. Very similar but comes with two clips to hold the top until you are finished, two small scrunchies for each side and two large scrunchies to hold each side after you make a bun. I used it last night and it did curl but was very hard to sleep on. I like yours better!!!

Thank you Tanya Yes I had trouble with the rope belt too. And people have suggested that we wrap our root area on top under this device first before we wrap the rest of our hair around it to give the top height. I think I’ll try that. I appreciate it.
