That was full-on Farrah Fawcett hair at 12:09-12:10! IMO, the most gorgeous hair ever! Absolutely stunning, Melissa!

Melissa, When I had long hair and even now when I wear it straight I have a tool similar to yours and then also use large Velcro rollers. Problem is, here in Florida, even with hairspray it lasts about 5 minutes with my curly hair!😊 Your always looks beautiful! 💕

Oh thank you so much Sandra. Yes we don’t have quite the humidity Florida house but we have enough. I know you’re familiar with when you’re in Nashville. LOL. It’s a challenge isn’t it? Lots of love and I appreciate you.

Happy Wednesday, Melissa. Your hair turned out so pretty. This tool reminds me of some I have from Calista tools. You know I'm a slacker, and it's the easiest, and fastest way to go through my hair. I do have some velcro roller, I just might get fancy and try them!! Love you, my friend...MaryEllen

It may be simple but it’s sooo effective. I’ve been using heated rollers to ‘straighten’ my hair which is similar to your length and curly too. But I’m also worried about the weight on my roots and have some hair loss. So this simple video is really very helpful to me! You just never know when an obvious thing to you will be a revelation to someone else! Thanks a million Melissa. Love Eleanor xxx

You don’t need to add the salt to the water like they do long ago ,but I never had lol an I use my heat brush to Touch up second day . Just FYI ♥️ So nice to see you . Was in Nashville few weeks ago an Man I looked like a cotton head because of the weather so wore it up an rosy riveter style most the time I was there which was fine it was a casual vacation anyway what a beautiful state you have♥️🇺🇸♥️

    Hi Melissa,
I have the same issue with hot rollers - too heavy 😕
My hair is curly and very fine - it tangles so easily. Seeing you use this brush/ iron and velcro curlers looks much easier than I would have thought! I like the idea of the hair not being "cooked" by the iron - I use the lowest setting because I am fearful of just that. I like those extra long Bobby pins too.
Thanks sweetie for showing us another way to do our "do". 😁
    💕😘💕Alli

I'm not into hair tools as much anymore but last week I got the BedHead The Waver and it works really good for adding waves and volume without much effort at all. After having some genetic hair loss issues I decided to try the Professional IRestore 3 months ago and am seeing good results especially at the temples. It takes about 6 months before true progress but I thought I'd share. I don't shed nearly as much as I did before starting to use it.

Hi beautiful 🤩 it’s Michelle from Instagram the one that was messaging you about all the hair loss! OK so I see what you’re saying that your hair is thin at the bottom like mine I just lost a lot of hair around the crown so but anyway and I have the bottom like you but wow do you get it to look like a lot of hair. And I really appreciate this video because when I get a job which better be sooner than later LOL I am going to go by what you were using and I’m going to try the Velcro rollers and the hairspray and everything because I’ve never tried that before using Velcro rollers at all Plus that tool. So you shouldn’t be embarrassed because this is very helpful for someone like me that never thought to use Velcro rollers at all with hairspray after using that heated tool! I so appreciate this video. Thank you so much and I always enjoy watching your smile and how genuine you are so I really loved this video 🥰 it’s going to be very useful for me and hopefully soon I can go buy it all :) i’ll be making a trip to Sally’s hopefully eventually I’m sure they sell the Velcro rollers there as well. Have a beautiful rest of your week thank you again for posting a wonderful video

It is so good to see you Michelle. Listen you could also just buy you some Velcro rollers and put your hair up in them and take a blow dryer to each of the rollers. That would give you the same affect of the brush. That way you wouldn’t have to worry about buying this brush. I’ve done my hair with the dryer and the Velcro‘s a lot of times and that is something that is a whole lot cheaper. So give that a try and let me know what you think. You take care sweetie.♥️♥️♥️

Thank you so much Diane. I did worry about that. And when I first started using it it did do that a time or two and I quickly unplugged it and worked on getting it out. It did not seem to damage my hair. Now I make sure it’s very smooth. I think that can be a concern. I make sure that I’m very careful now. Take care and I appreciate it.

Well now we are shaving our faces not because of facial hair but because we want to keep our collagen turnover flowing. I just used a new eyebrow tamer on my face while in the shower with my facial wash and it keeps my face smooth. Have you ever wore compression socks while lazing around the flat and we all are using self tanners now. I’m African American and I use self tanner on my legs when I wear shorts. I’ve got some spider veins but the self tanner works wonders😀. You look so pretty with a red lip. You have great neck/shoulders. Show that also❤️😀

Your hair looks beautiful Melissa! As a hairdresser, I would stay away from extensive heat as much as possible. I never blow dry my hair, I let it dry by itself and style it from there. I've seen many people with broken hair who use the heated brushes. You could use it but I wouldn't do it all the time. Xo

Your hair is beautiful as always Melissa. I would be so worried I'd get my hair tangled in the bristles and end up burning my hair off. That brush reminds me of rollers with little spikes on them that my mother would set my hair with and I swear she took out so much of my hair when removing them. I do have a hot brush but it's a flat one I got on Amazon because Kristin recommended it and it gives me a smooth look. P.S., I bought the MAC Bougie cream shadow and I love it!

I have done my hair the same way for years, the only difference is I use a flatiron for the heat. It is the best way to achieve body and fullness if you have fine thinner hair like me.

Loved seeing how you rolled it but after you wash what product or products do you use. I know I've asked before but you know - you might be doing something different now. Also are you derma rolling your hair now - you know I just Love watching you no matter what your doing. I like the ion tool it works really great on your hair. I've always sprayed the roots before I roll each section as it really helps me - my hair isn't thick or course. Fine hair is harder to hold a curl I think so the spray does the trick. Have a great weekend!! Hugs to you my beautiful friend. xoxo Deb :-)

Hey you hey😁. Your always look amazing! No matter what you do is beautiful, Glam. I am trying to let my hair grow out, it’s asymmetric stacked bob. My brother said I was to old to have long hair , hahah I’m in my early 50s. But I see you , lisalisad1 , and other ladies who looks bomb with their hair long . Sigh , he says I’m to old to wear distressed jeans , only slight distress, long hair. I guess I’m the only one who’s family is judgmental lol . My boys think it’s cool 😎. Love it 😍

You are the one that has to wear it and you deserve to wear it any style you want. OK, off my soapbox now. lol. But no kidding, please do what makes you happy. Lord knows it's hard enough growing older without people telling us what we should and shouldn't do! Take care, Donna! Melissa
