You are a breath of fresh air Melissa! You’re making the healthiest choice for your body by not going the invasive route. I’m 66 and have had a traumatic injury early in life so elective surgery is out for me. Thank you for guiding us mature women on a more natural path. ❤️
Amen!! Never thought she was going on 65 like whhhaaaattttt 🤯 She looks 20 ➕ years young.... Seriously my goals!! Wow..... I need more Retinol.... 🙏🙏🙏🙏😊
Hey Pretty Girl, I have been using retin a for 3 years & I can tell a big difference in my skin! Thank you! Thank you! You do not realized how many women you have helped!
I really enjoy your videos. You don’t need to prove to anyone you haven’t done any procedures. That’s just unkind of people to keep saying. Rude. You’ve been honest and very open . Anyhow, thank you for sharing what you’re using. You are a beautiful woman. Inside and out. I pray your husband and family member are both going to be fine. God bless you sweet lady.
If I look 1/2 as good as you do at 64, I will count myself blessed. I love how open you are and how you explain everything you do as well as all of the background info. Thank you for such a good video!
Thank you so much ! This video has inspired me greatly - I want to better my skin care and exercise consistency towards it. You are so beautiful, inside and out :)
My son at 21 has crones. He almost died. He now gets treatments every month. Very expensive. I hope someday he wont need to have them. You give me hope that he can have a long life.
Just came across you on UA-cam. You look truly amazing and it’s delightful that you don’t use anything other than basic skincare, make up and a tiny bit of hrt. I love this as so many women are ruining their faces. I’m 61 and can’t bear the thought of anything other than the same but wish I looked as young as you! I hope you are well during this pandemic. Best wishes from Wales, U.K. 🏴
You have just gained a new subscriber! Just wow, your hair, teeth, skin and even no sign of aging on neck.. A true preserved beauty. I'm 21 but I hope I can age gracefully too
Better not to age at all. It is cumulative damages from toxicity and nutritional deficiency. Everyone should reject every pharma drug (they're toxic aberrations) - including needless vaccines - and heal with herbs, Homeopathy, and the plethora of other pure products - e.g., Calcium Bentonite Clay, pure water, and Miracle II soap.
No surgeries but I DO think she uses Botox bc her eyebrows barely move and she is shiny in the forehead and between her brows. Not buying that she had no Botox procedure.
Simply Amazing . I follow several mature youtubers like Angie from Hot n Flashy and they all use so many products on their skin. Makes me wonder if we really need all that stuff after watching you!
Jennifer Smith - I agree. Less is more. I love Angie but she uses too much crap on her skin. And she didn't start serious skincare until she was 50. You need to start early to have results like this.
@@marlynnek6449 - Yes, if I used as much goop as Angie says she does, my face would be disgustingly oily. All those layers, then moisturiser, sun screen and foundation makeup. My skin wouldn't tolerate it.
If I were rich I would buy from all your affiliate links. You have the most honest and best disclosure I've ever seen. I hope everyone uses your links. I respect that so much.
I’m so glad you highlighted sunscreen, I’ve worked in theatre with plastic surgeons and ALL have said , IF you want to slow down ageing dramatically USE SUNSCREEN, every day! The drs and nurses I’ve worked with over the years that have slapped sunscreen on everyday absolutely show slower ageing signs, and significantly better skin. I can tell now just from looking signs of sun damage, you know even if you use generic no name sunscreen and start early you will save so much sun damage. Also don’t be put off by the feel of a sunscreen, different brands use different formulas keep trying to find a formula that fits for you. Thanks for the upload
@UA-cam Watch well the point is sunscreen actually can save a life, and absolutely can stop damaged skin that leads to cancer, after seeing the damage sun can and does ravish your body once melanoma takes hold first hand and how quickly skin cancer can take off due to over exposure that could other wise be negotiated by the wearing of sunscreen, I’ll use sunscreen. It’s not a slave to sunscreen it’s a slave to protection. I can’t underestimate the tragedy the damage ravished on a persons body, and all too often that particular cancer could’ve been stopped by sunscreen.ive seen this first hand working with surgeons and knowing the pathology of these skin cancers it’s awful, staying inside for the whole of your life is neither healthy or practical
You look lovely Melissa. You got me started on Obaji about 4 yrs. I use it every day and it is the best..I have seen great results. Your hair is looking great, maybe consider a video on what you are currently using and how you style it. Thanks sweetie, Love Liz💕💕
Thank you so much, Liz!!! Several people in my family use Obagi and have for years and they have the best skin! I truly believe in the line. Many thanks, Melissa
Also, when I was in the hospital 2 months ago, my hair and skin suffered..when I got home my skin recovered quickly when I resumed my usual Obaji skin care regime, however, my hair is now shedding a lot, which I know is normal because of the trauma. Has your hair gotten back to normal? It sure looks great. I know you used Nioxin, which products did you use and what are you using now? I appreciate your input. It is unsettling to see so much hair coming out😔 Thanks Melissa❤️
I’ve been on Tretinoin for 3 months now and love it. Starting with Differin for about a year really helped the transition. A little dryness and a small breakout at first, but no other adverse side effects, applying it daily. I think that’s pretty fantastic! Prescribed for acne but god knows that’s not the main reason I wanted it 😂. I wanted to start early! 28 years old.
You have the most incredible bone structure - those cheekbones are to die for! Thank you for sharing your routine. Beautiful skin. Do you take any supplements? Would love to know what you eat in a day, too :)
I am behind the times with technology but I so wish I had found your videos years ago! I have Crohns and the disease and biologics have caused some problems with my skin. I am anxious to see your videos. Thank you for your time to help those of us that are older feel better about ourselves. Love your attitude and help. God bless you and your health, I know what you go through🙏🕊
I think the dislikes are maybe the content or products used because she's lovely ,a few could be because some people feel jealous but we feel inspired !
No, she is naturally gorgeous and doesn't act conceited. You are probably comparing her with trimps wife who is conceited and selfish. We dont hate her for her beauty it's only because of her superior attitude. This woman is simply beautiful. Always was always will be.
You are proof that genes don't matter and you can have beautiful skin despite genetics! I love my handknit washcloths too! Love the idea of doing an update video yearly. Love you my friend. ♥ Elle
@@handotkay She said her mother had horrible skin and has shown pictures of her mother who, as Melissa said, didn't have nice skin. Melissa has gorgeous skin so I was joking in saying that genetics don't matter as she didn't get her skin from her mother!
@@handotkay She was teasing me because I've shown her pictures of my mother. If I have her genetics, I'm doomed!! lol My mother had horrible skin. and the thing that was interesting is that she had men just crazy about her. I’m 20 years old, and you inspire me so much to take care of my skin. My mother and father have aged really gracefully without having much of a skincare routine, and I wonder how long I can look youthful if I really take my skincare and anti aging seriously!
Woah, such a beautiful lady! Definitely encourages me to continue with my skincare routine- hopefully I’ll look at youthful as you when I reach the same age !x
You are so refreshing!! Just like the morning sun! Thank you for making me want to work harder on a constant skincare routine. BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!! 😘😘😘
Honest AF it’s hard to know whether to or not. I can’t eat like other people because so much of my intestines are missing. I do eat very simple foods. Not a lot of fiber. I drink a protein supplement every day. I have a banana daily for potassium. But basically I just try to eat cooked vegetables and low fiber foods. I don’t eat many sweets. Just maybe on a special occasion. I appreciate you asking. 🤗🤗🤗
Melissa55 Thank you. I would have swarm you eat grass fed beef liver. It's the fountain of youth! I am 40 and the picture I have as avatar is me in Sep 2019. I do use skin care but the liver keeps me looking young and healthy from the inside. 😊
Honest AF Absolute rubbish, stop spouting this crackpot theory. So you think you’ve found the secret to eternal youth by eating the intestines of a dead animal? Laughable, it really is.
You can actually take estrogen indefinitely if you start within 5 to 10 year of menopause. I watch Menopause Taylor and learned that from her channel. .05 is the lowest you should go for skin patches (each method has its own lowest requirement) to have benefits of protecting you from osteoporosis, heart disease and Alzheimer’s.
Melissa I've decided that when I run through all these serums, lotions and potions around here, I'm adopting your streamlined routine. Thank you for the video. You look great as always.

You are stunning, Melissa. I fell off the couch when you mentioned your age because you look at least twenty five years younger. Btw, I am a new subscriber and look forward to watching your videos. Stay blessed!
You are probably one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen in my entire life. I mean, you look 25, but not just 25, a STUNNING 25. So you're drop dead gorgeous and utterly ageless which is an overused term, but you are the poster child for the term, ageless.
Aside for your glorious glowy skin, you have the most beautiful blue eyes! Loved this video, it was so clear and simple to follow along and understand. Loved the demonstration at the end. I am getting ready to film a skincare routine in my bathroom as well. I am dreading it cause I have still trying to figure out how I am going to manage to get my camera or iPhone set up in that tiny bathroom of mine. Sigh! But you did a great job! So sorry that your videos are being stolen by unscrupulous companies trying to push their skin products. I sure hope all of us here on UA-cam boycott anything they have to sell it is the only way they will be going out of business. Happy New Year! xoxo Maria

You look and sound fabulous! You're vibrant, upbeat, and engaging to watch. I'm new to UA-cam and I'm watching you for tips on how to make my videos better. Thank you! I'm 61 years old.❤
Sasha Kristine We didn’t even know he had Chron’s disease until he ended up in the hospital. His colon was rotting and spreading it had to come out. He was in excruciating pain, there was no other choice, he could have ended up with gangrene. I did tons of research following his diagnosis. I even read medical journals. It is indeed caused by mycobacterium. That’s why some folks on biologics are susceptible to tuberculosis. Tuberculoses is also caused by mycobacterium. He uses black seed oil capsules and medical marijuana to stay in remission. When he feels a flare coming on he uses Kate Farms medical shakes as he is one of the unfortunate ones who can experience severe weight loss. I have tons of Chron’s videos on my UA-cam channel if you want to see them just ask. One of the most interesting ones is from a team of microbiologists who propose that Chron’s is not an auto immune disease but rather a infectious disease.
Im so sorry! It sounds like you are doing good by him though. I take bovine trachea supplements to rebuild tissues. And oil of oregano from solarray . Thought I would share. Have a good night❤
Sasha Kristine Thanks for sharing! I will look into the bovine supplement! Oil of oregano is good stuff. I take that myself but my son said it hurt his stomach. Good night, 🌙💤😘.......
What product makes your skin glow and look hydrated in this video besides skin care? Do you think the sunscreen does it? I want the same glow you have!!!! You never age, beautiful woman.
Oh thank you! I don't use powder and I really do feel I might have some natural oils. Also, I've noticed the Skinceuticals Vitamin C serum leaves that glow. I don't have it when I don't use it. Darn it, that's the most expensive item, but I'm willing to bet that's it. Also, I know this sounds crazy, but since I don't moisturize, my skin produces more oil. It's like it realizes it's dry so it starts making oil. Thanks so very much1 Love, Melissa

You are a breath of fresh air Melissa! You’re making the healthiest choice for your body by not going the invasive route. I’m 66 and have had a traumatic injury early in life so elective surgery is out for me. Thank you for guiding us mature women on a more natural path. ❤️
Your profile glow, you don’t know look aged?
You have gorgeous skin Melissa!! I wish I had started using retin a when I was younger. You look more like you’re 40 than almost 65! Love ya!
You are so kind, Kim! I really appreciate it so much and you are just so lovely. I appreciate it! Love, Melissa
Amen!! Never thought she was going on 65 like whhhaaaattttt 🤯 She looks 20 ➕ years young.... Seriously my goals!! Wow..... I need more Retinol.... 🙏🙏🙏🙏😊
But she has good skin on her neck and chest too so genetics might be into play here.

All of the thumbs down were from jealous people! You are absolutely beautiful!
Amy Turner Agree!
I couldn't even believe there were any thumbs down! There are some hateful people out there wow!
This woman makes me not be scared of getting to 60, Tretinoin a good lifestyle and spf is all it takes it seems . Gorgeous
She’s pushing 70…and still gorgeous. I can’t believe how stunning Melissa is.
@@Blondie727 right!!! Its a very timeless beauty what she has
And god tier genetics, this woman doesn’t even use moisturizers

I'm nearly 47 and just started retin-a this month. I look younger than my age so I'm excited to see what adding skin care will do. You're GORGEOUS!
You certainly do,where are you commenting from?
You are blessed with beautiful skin, but most importantly--your inner beauty is inspiring and makes you more beautiful! Hugs to you!
Debbie, that is just the most wonderful comment. I can't tell you what it means to me. Thank you so much. Love, Melissa
65 in April? You will have to bring your birth certificate to the Medicare office, you are looking way to good ;-)
Right?!!
awww, thank you. I just realized recently I will be going on Medicare in April. hahah. That blew my mind. Many thanks!
My son at 21 has crones. He almost died. He now gets treatments every month. Very expensive. I hope someday he wont need to have them. You give me hope that he can have a long life.
Crohn's - not crones
Prayers for his recovery
@@StarCoded Load of crap.

It is very hard to believe there has been no plastic surgery. She’s gorgeous.
JJ HAWK very hard to believe no shade but VERY
No surgeries but I DO think she uses Botox bc her eyebrows barely move and she is shiny in the forehead and between her brows. Not buying that she had no Botox procedure.
I wonder about PDO threads. Not technically considered plastic surgery. She looks amazing regardless.
i do not believe it either
@@Pinkrosesandagraveyard yes thats what im thinking. Ppl dont consider pdo thread lift a surgery.
Simply Amazing . I follow several mature youtubers like Angie from Hot n Flashy and they all use so many products on their skin. Makes me wonder if we really need all that stuff after watching you!
Jennifer Smith - Angie has had botox and fillers. She gets $ for promoting all the gunk she puts on her face.
Melissa you are absolutely gorgeous, I love your energy and your honesty. 🙏
You are gorgeous and so inspiring to women in their 40’s! Thank you so much for your down to earth and simple routine!
Courtney - thank you so much That really means a lot to me. Have a blessed New Year! Love, Melissa

What obaji products do you use?
What brand of Obaji, do you use? Can you put the link?

I’ve been on Tretinoin for 3 months now and love it. Starting with Differin for about a year really helped the transition. A little dryness and a small breakout at first, but no other adverse side effects, applying it daily. I think that’s pretty fantastic! Prescribed for acne but god knows that’s not the main reason I wanted it 😂. I wanted to start early! 28 years old.

Can you pls talk about your diet ,and maybe do a "what I eat in a day" video.
Have you checked into the carnivore diet to help heal you ive found it incredible
@Honest AF why did I randomly click on this video and find you. Lol.
Honest AF Absolute rubbish, stop spouting this crackpot theory. So you think you’ve found the secret to eternal youth by eating the intestines of a dead animal? Laughable, it really is.
you're one of the most beautiful women i have ever seen, a true inspiration. I feel like your beauty shines from within :)

My poor son has chrons disease. It’s horrible. He had a resection two years ago. Be well sister!
It's a fungus . Research before any more surgeries! ❤

What a great routine. You look spectacular and natural. Definitely, youthful. Thank you. Sharing.
