Honestly... I wish Disney had've heard you before filming Episode 7... You were right... They didn't plan this out... at all. Yes, this has been confirmed. Rian Johnson said when he picked up directing and writing for episode 8 that nothing was planned for 8 and 9, that's why he made the twist for Snoke and Rey just being ... nothing. Sighs.... So depressing...
Yes please. I know you are very hateful of Star Wars right now bandit and I share the same hate, but we need the satisfaction that you can give to Star Wars
Wow. They really should have consulted you before making 7 and 8. You are talented. Movies suck nowadays. You need to start writing professionally bro. I feel like there is wasted talent here.
man i can't help. i love the prequels. the originals were obviously better no contest, but i am that guy who loves everything star wars so i just can't help it but love the prequels.
***** One thing i will say for the Prequels, they are good for getting young kids into star wars. A while back i wanted to show my nephew the movies, but he was still too young, and found the empirer too scary. So I couldnt show him the original trilogy, but the prequels he liked (until the bit when Anakin chops all all the kids) So the Prequels are useful as an introduction to the original movies, for very young kids
BanditIncorporated Actually, the way I got into Start Wars was different. First of all, when I was really young, my father showed the original trilogy to me and my little brother.^^ Then, in 2000, I went and saw the Phantom Menace(even though it was already out for a year).^^ By the way, my birthday is May 15th, so... since the movies always came out on May 4th, I always went to see them in movie theater on my birthday.^^ So, basically, I got interest in the Star wars franchise because of the original trilogy and I then grew up with the prequel trilogy.^^ (The Revenge of the Sith movie came out toward the end of my last year of elementary school(the 6th year). And I actually started read the Star Wars books when I was in 4th year of elementary school... and I'm now a 21 years old university student, and I still read star wars books, comics, play Star Wars games, etc.^^XD :3
I know this is old but I've got to say that these ideas are bad ass and I really wish the people at Disney were thinking along these lines. Most people aren't accepting of the new SW trilogy as canon (especially after TLJ) so you should really look into creating some kind of alternate SW continuation. Its quite interesting and because of the way TLJ turned out, it shouldn't be too difficult to find people to help make it happen (if you aren't already). By the way, the equal rights for droids thing is mentioned in the novelization of A New Hope (probably just titled Star Wars). At the end of the book they describe how Luke is impressed at how the rebels treat Artoo with much respect and dignity. Its kind of implied that this is one of the issues the rebels are behind. So, yeah, it would make a lot of sense for droids to be officially granted equal rights under the new government. And it would certainly be a cool little side issue to be addressed throughout the movies. So get to work. I'd like a script or book on my desk by April 2020. Please.
This is such a nostalgic watch. Literally everything he said should not happen ended up happening in the Sequels we got. Also the “maybe George Lucas caused more damage than he thought” is one of the most hilariously ironic lines lmao
Unfortunately they just repeated the same thing. Empire = First Order Resistance = Rebels Snoke = Emperor Kylo Ren = Darth Vader Rey = Female Mary Sue Luke Luke, Leia, and Han = Well...Luke, Leia, and Han
doesn't matter it was still great the first order was the empire being built up from the rubble but their are a lot of differences you need to put them next to each other and you will see the differences they are subtle but huge.
Boldfacedbroom3 She's from a desert planet and meets a wise old man who tells her about an evil empire building a big battle station and she also learns of a secret legacy in her bloodline which gives her connection to the force. She's Luke, only without an interesting character to go with it. Seriously, she's good at everything immediately and has no faults. It's boring.
I know this is old, but on all of your SW vids you seem intent to point out how technology should advance. Thing is, part of what defines SW is that technology has been stagnant for thousands of years (in fact, shit quickly started going backwards once the Empire was established). Only minor improvements have been made to existing technologies over that time. It may not make sense in our world, but in the fantasy setting of SW it does.
+Novus Grimnir This is true. The technology that enables inter stellar travel was created by none of the races that currently exist in the movie timelines.
+Novus Grimnir Ironically, the technology in the prequels looked more advanced than that in the original trilogy. That was so incredibly stupid. They thought that modern SW movies must therefore depict better technology. The only thing that really looked retro was having those detachable hyperdrive rings on the Jedi starfighters.
Lucas Ward The ARC Fighters looked more advanced than X-Wings. They could have made the ships and such look purposely retro. The Cone Wars cartoon did a better job by introducing the old-style Y-Wing, the Headhunter, etc.
Literally the episode title "the force awakens" is THE PERFECT SETUP for your plan for the movie. Not saying that that's the way it'll turn out but the force awakens would be a great title for your proposal...
Actually it's stated in that the ability to come back as a Force Ghost was discovered by Qui-Gon Jinn after he died, whom he later taught this ability to Obi-Wan and Yoda between Episode III and IV. But I find your idea very interesting of the energy beings though.
If you watch season 6 of the Clone Wars there's a story arc in which Yoda is trained by the deceased Qui-Gon. Making the training of Yoda happen between Episodes II and III. Yoda then trains Obi-Wan between episodes III and IV.
Robert McDermott Yeah i know but what i'm telling you is that the force ghost was not invented by QG but by a sith years and years back. A good example might be Freedon Nadd
No Jinn was Not the first JEDI to have done this. Not by a loooongggg shot. It goes so far back beyond the actual written canon.... Ulic Qel Dromo. Jedi turned sith then back to Jedi. He's a force ghost. He tells Anakin/Obi-Wan how to turn off a machine. (that machine is what destroyed Malachor V btw)
This is genies !! I would like to add those beings having more of a role as so called 'One w/ the force" beings, Qui Gon, Anakin, Yodi ect. should have bigger roles.
They should act like the other movies don't exist. I am tired of them leaning all of their weight against the legendary series of the original Star Wars. Make a new damn movie. Make a new damn concept. Stop rehashing it. Create a NEW legend. Stop drawing from the 25 year old well. Build something new, that stands on its own.
Well. Disney did everything this man said would suck and the result is that the new trilogy sucks. It's only a remake of the original trilogy, nothing new, nothing about the balance of the force that should be, like ying and yang, that neither size will dominate but work together, like current, positive and negative
I've read and watched a lot of theories and explanations as to what Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens should and shouldn't be! Well, I can honestly say that THIS is exactly what I would LOVE to see as a trilogy!
It's very settling to know that JJ Abrams is actually a huge fan of Star Wars and grew up watching them as a child! It seems the fans know it better that George Lucas does these days! And you're welcome...i'm a new subscriber btw!
Sam Cooney Ditto; maybe I've been smoking the same stuff you have, but this overall idea sounds awesome and actually fixes a LOT of problems that I have with the original 6. I'm a fan too mind you.. I still love them, but I don't like being treated like an idiot and many times in ep I II and III I am treated that way.
Damn YT and it's lack of an edit feature. The robes are to make the Jedi appear more "Monkish," as they are essentially Clerics of a "hokey religion." Just because Tatooine is a desert world that makes robes a logical way to dress doesn't negate the religious aspect of being a Jedi.
+Boldfacedbroom3 It's still a death star. A massive floating space ball that has the ability to destroy entire planets. Also it ends up destroyed thanks to some special convenient weakness in it.
Is it just me or do the Star Wars movies remind me about American history: Prequels=all the stuff that started the American Revolution Classic Trilogy=the American Revolution New films= War of 1812. The rebels have become their own entity and our now fighting the remains of the monarchy that are still trying to defeat the rebels even after the rebels won. Except, with more lasers and stuff...
No offense, but I really disagree with your ending scenario. I really don't think Star Wars was about "exploring the unknown" or "achieving utopia". The galaxy of Star Wars is far too fleshed out and known to explore the unknown and has such a focus on the local planets, their cultures, and the unique interactions between the galactic republic/empire and these cultures and planets would make a blanket, "one-size-fits-all" utopia ending feel really cheap and gimmicky. I agree that unification between light and dark should be the goal of this movie trilogy, but the pressure required to achieve that should come from within, rather than from the outside. The unification should be a side effect of the entire galaxy hoping for the same goal. The goal should be that of survival. Survival of say a force that hopes to destroy the whole galaxy. Something introduced in the new movies. Something that threatens both the Sith, Jedi AND non-force users enough to make them cooperate, rather than them having to cooperate in order to breach some arbitrary point in space and turn everyone into energy.
AdecostarElite U make a very good point, about the problem of having a "one size fits all" solution in a universe as varied as SW. On the other hand tho, obiwon did say the force is created by "all living things" and that it "binds the galaxy together" so i would argue that the force is the one thing that all forms of life have in common, and the one thing that can truly unify the galaxy. I think the Vong would be a good choice for a common enemy that everyone can team up against. But personally I dont like those kind of stories, cos any resulting cooperation and peace is only temporary. Like America and the Soviets teamed up to fight the nazis, but that didnt prevent the cold war. So I dunno, I think it could end up in a shallow lesson about cooperation. But thats just apersonal gripe of mine, cos those types of stories have worked before, soi guess it depends on how its done :D
BanditIncorporated You are assuming there is a way to create a permanent alliance between Jedi and the Sith, but frankly I don't think such a thing is possible - If you take Sith Code into account, it clearly states that the main directives are power and freedom both from your own conscience and laws of others. Jedi on the other hand are the exact opposite - power is not there to be an excuse to do whatever you desire, having power means assuming responsibility for those powerless. Those are contradictory approaches to the force, and I cannot see how Jedi and Sith could EVER see eye to eye. Which brings yet another interesting point - you said on the video that "Sith thought that behind the barrier was a pure dark side force" - I believe that statement is wrong. There is no "Dark force" or "Light force" - there is "The Force" that you can utilize. Depending on whether you use it for good or evil, you are assuming a stance and it is your state of mind that sets you on either Light or the Dark side. The other thing is that splitting the Force like that would lead to unnecessary dualism of the spiritual world in SW - especially if you take into account that The Force has a will - suddenly it's a fight between good and evil force? Personally I always thought that The Force could be represented as a Taiji - unity born from connecting two opposites, Yin and Yang. Both of them have a bit of the opposite inside them and they can't exist without the other, but they're not joined in a physical sense, in a way that you can distinguish one from the other... It is more of a philosophical problem, but it is certainly more vague that way, and therefore more interesting, at least IMO. I agree that the new trilogy should concentrate on new story and new characters, but I think some EU should be taken into consideration and also, we should look at what SW has created and base new parts on that, otherwise it will be really hard to accept for the die-hard fans. This is the main reason why I don't like your "energy creatures" idea. It's too non-star wars-y like, It's hard for me to swallow this kind of out-of-the-left-field idea.
Xoruam But they're saying that some new force (not the Force) of evil is present and attempts to destroy the whole universe, or at least take control of it. But, I agree with you. They can't actually agree, because that would contradict with their beliefs and whatever. But, the new force could be something so powerful and so twisted that they can't help but try to stop it. They might not be working together when they do it. For example, the Sith could be trying to fight one group of this bigger, evil group, in one area, and the Jedi could be fighting a different group. The reason the Jedi and the Sith don't know about this is because they, after all the wars, are simply waiting to see what the other side will do next and when they will attack. But, then, they are individually attacked by two groups of the new evil, and they don't care about the other side. The new evil, however, realise that these two 'sides' are actually quite strong, because they can work together well. So, the new evil decides to lead the Jedi and the Sith to one another and they meet, but they're trying to fight the new evil and they get confused and distracted, because they're also trying to fight the other side, but they want to defeat the new evil, and then the new evil takes this to their advantage and tries to destroy the sides as a whole, and this is kind of working. So, both sides are now almost wiped out, and they simply just put their differences aside, until they destroy the new evil. They're not working beside one another, but they temporarily have the same cause. Then, they defeat the new evil and they're like, "Oh, crap, these guys, I forgot about them," and then they kind of battle, and this is the last movie, so, it returns back to the good vs evil thing Star Wars is often praised for. Maybe one side could win, maybe they resolve their issues, or maybe they leave us at a cliffhanger and everyone hates it because they don't know what the hell happened. Then again, I have no idea how this idea could go across three different movies, and it kind of separates itself from the good vs evil thing at first, which then some fans would accuse it of not being a Star Wars movie.
AdecostarElite, I don't think the "exploring the unknown" comment was meant to be about the inhabitants of the Star Wars universe, it was meant to be about us, the audience. About the whole audience (not just the fans and connoisseurs). When a five-year-old boy (girl or whomever) watches any Star Wars movie for the first time, from Episode IV to Episode #, s/he is exploring the unknown. That is what Star Wars, science fiction, science-fantasy and all fiction is about...
Xoruam That's not entirely true. There was a Sith which went from the Dark Side to the light. I don't know where and when that took place but it did happen. It does make since though. If eternal darkness had no hope of reaching the light. Then the force against the darkness would be pointless. Which gets me to thinking about the possibility of a time when maybe the Sith wen't bad? What event or calamity caused them to turn to the dark side. A forbidden love maybe? Hmm now that would be a story I could sink my teeth into. Just one of many of coarse. :)
Checking in from 2018: Luke drinks milk from a space cow nipple. Empire 2.0 is back and treading the same water the lead role is a mary sue. if you think ewoks are bad, wait for porgs.
One fact: in Return, Luke sees the ghosts of Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Yoda. Anakin is also wearing the Jedi robe, so it's already assumed the robe is their traditional uniform for many years.
I think it was because he was Obi's friend/apprentice, and he was also from Tatooine too...and they didnt know what else to make him wear...and Lucas was already making poor decisions at the time. There can be so many reasons son.
Even this was weird for some people. I really really wish this was the real story in the next movies. It would be amazing to bring a classic good vs evil premise to a very creative ending.
I really wish this kind of thinking was what had gone in for The Force Awakens. But what we got was a play it safe, diet ANH movie that was there to appease the prequel haters and OT lovers. Not continue the story. And not forge its own path. I do not like the prequels as movies(but I don't hate them), but they at least forged their own identity. Not a very solid one, but one nevertheless. TFA didn't do that. It was ANH with fresh coat of paint. Though, I did like the performances and the look and production value. But I do agree with this. It's why I loved the EU. It did things differently and went past the barriers. The Vong for instance. I wasn't a fan of the NJO, but I respected what these writers wanted to do. Tell different stories and evolve the mythos. Because, the moment a franchise loses is when they remain stagnant and just repeat the same thing.
I think the next films will be more new school. I think they were playing it safe for the first film of the new trilogy, after what happened with the prequels. The next two films will probably move forward.
sgauden02 And that is why I hated TFA. It played it safe. I do not think the prequels were good films, but even so I expected so much more. And even ignoring that, I just found it really lacking. Where was the needed context on the galaxy, specifically the New Republic, First Order. The world? Say what you will about the prequels, but ANH got this right with that imperial meeting scene. Such vital exposition was given, yet it wasn't clunky or forced. TFA needed that. Especially, considering the significant amount of time that has passed and that there are six films before it. The fact that I had to get a semblance from the world from reading Bloodline(an excellent book) is a further failing of the movie. I'm a hardcore legends/canon fan. But I should also be able to enjoy this film as a movie. But I didn't really. The production value and performances only being the saving grace. That said, I trust Rian Johnson a whole lot more than Abrams. I think he's not a good director. Johnson, however, is fantastic.
The amount of things you noted and suggested in this video is beyond infinity in that Disney didn't listen to any of this or consider it.... saying the Emperor shouldn't return, saying that Luke, Han and Leia should be head of a new republic and Jedi Order and suggesting the conclusion of the trilogy be that the light and dark should both reach a balance once and for all. Them not planning out all the story ahead of time and the throw-away joke of JJ Abrams struggling on what to do at the last minute of writing episode 9..... ooooh just a sad time to be a Star Wars fan :'( 1977 - 2019
I like the idea of droids becoming full members of society, with all of the rights inherent. It fits in perfectly with one of my pet theories regarding R2D2 and C3PO. As we all know, R2 has been around Jedi for many years - and never had his memory wiped, as C3POs was at the end of RotS (assuming the the Clone Wars series is canon, seeing as it was executive produced by Lucas - remember Artoo was stolen and delivered to the Separatists because of the knowledge he carried). Being an AstroMech - navigator and mechanical engineer, in essence. . . and having years of Jedi knowledge in his memory - he designs NanoChlorians - nanobot analogs to Midichlorians - and "infects" himself with them, designing and redesigning until he gets them right - thus becoming the first non-organic Jedi. Being such a Jedi explains why he's been able to survive situations that would have reduced any lesser droid to scrap. As he has repaired C3PO on any number of occasions, he has also "infected" C3PO with NanoChlorians. Artoo is the Master, Threepio, the Apprentice. Yes, I realize that this is the Sith Rule of Two - but a droid - being "neutral"8 - wouldn't cling to Jedi dogma with the same tenacity as an organic Jedi with his bothersome *emotions*. **end pet theory** Using this as a baseline. . . Arto and Threepio are instrumental in the granting of full rights to droids - their contributions to the fall of the Empire, and (especially Artoo's) showing initiative uncommon in droids (which has also been mentioned). Both droids - along with Professor Huyang - become the first official non-organic Jedi - although Artoo, lacking a humanoid body and hands doesn't advertize it by wearing a hooded cloak and carrying a lightsaber. Threepio, however, takes it to a bit of an extreme - carrying 4 lightsabers as Grievous did - because of the years of abuse he suffered at the hands of organics - both Jedi & non-Jedi. He *wants* people to know that, by the Force, he *is* a Real Jedi Knight! This would make the interaction between Threepio and Han that you suggested even more delicious. . . Han to Threepio: "Shut it, Goldenrod!' Threepio responds: "Excuse me, Sir - but *I* am a Jedi Knight, and you will show me proper respect!" Han mutters under his breath: "What has the galaxy come to, that they let such a bucket of bolts become a Jedi?"
Yes - I realize that I'm replying to myself. . . but YT doesn't have an "edit" feature. . . As far as Artoo & Threepio following the Sith Rule of Two - it's a *binary* rule, perfectly fitting with digital logic.
Reverend Draco > YT doesn't have an edit feature Yes it does. Click on the small arrow in the top right hand corner of your comment. It's been there for about 6 months. EDIT: Notice how it says 'edited' above my comment now?
14:52 Yeah... Fuck you, Disney. You had one job... Disclaimer: I don't dislike the movies we got, but it's frustrating to know what they could have been, and how much of this video made absolute sense and we saw none of it become reality.
"There is no empire" Well, fuck it, there is. Let's just place a new, ultraoverpowered dark empire in the middle of the universe for no reason and a complete lack of motivation or actual targets. Your suggestions were actually quite good. In fact, it seems like all fan-theories turn out to be more enjoyable than the eventual Disney-thing.
You know whats funny? Every single thing that this dude said that should not happen in the new trilogy Somehow happened! Disney got so much shit wrong... its absurd...
No one is interested in Star Wars 7?Hahaha that is bullshit!! Its the most anticipated film around right now. And George did not kill Star Wars, if he had they wouldn't be some of the most successful films of all time. Jez this guy had no idea what the hell he is talking about. But his ideas for the film are good however.
Daniel James Yeah this videos about a year old, people were pretty indifferent back then (still kinda are though, all things considered) but no, the Prequels were 100% Lucas, and they killed SW. And Lucas only made A New Hope, Empire and Jedi were written and directed by other people with Lucas just producing. He started it, but they became a success cos he was willing to step back and let others take on the reigns. In the Prequels when he decided to take the reigns back, we got Jar Jar.
BanditIncorporated The prequels did 'not' ,ill Star Wars. You people, and I am not trying to bash you because you have the right to your own opinion, but you 'can't' say that Lucas ruined it, when HE invented the dam thing. That is like going up to J.K Rowling and saying "Oh yeah you ruined Harry Potter." No it just doesn't make sense. George did not ruin them he only made them more modern compared to the classical ones, he caught up with how children like movies nowadays - action and fast paced.
BanditIncorporated George Lucas did direct and write a New Hope, in fact I believe a New Hope was the last movie George Lucas directed until Phantom Menace. All other movies including Episode V and VI were all produced and written by him with the help of a few other writers.
Even though it may be too dark of a segment of Star Wars, I think that the conflict with the Yuuzhan Vong would make an amazing trilogy, even though A LOT of people die. It would be so cool to see the New Republic and the Imperial Remnants fight along side each other against the Yuuzhan Vong. I think (but am not certain) that even the Sith and the Jedi allied to fight them, along with Boba Fett and the Mandalorians. The entire galaxy united as one against the Yuuzhan Vong, and realizing that they are stronger united, than fighting amongst themselves. Eventually defeating the Yuuzhan Vong, and really uniting the ENTIRE galaxy under one banner would be a perfect ending to the main story in my eyes. This central government, however, would not last forever. Which is were the Independent movies come in with other stories. :)
This is the bigest Problem wth Shows like "Smallville" and "Gotham" - they can not move on with their characters! They are frozen in time: Villain or Hero.
7 minutes and I already liked and add to favorites after hearing that idea about droids being equal and C-3PO being able to have arguments with Han. Disney needs to hire you to write Ep 7 like they need to hire BelatedMedia to re-write the prequels.
StupidMarioBros1Fan Thanx bro. Yeah im real worried about episode 7, since they said it will focus on luke, leia and han.....oh JJ, once u go down the nostalgia black hole, u will never return
Some good ideas here. The creators really need someone like you to help work on these movies. I think the conclusion to the story should be focused on revealing the force and its mysteries.
im just saying that really nice job dude. this open a whole new world to me from star wars and u got soem great ideas, keep it going man u got 1 sub more just for this video. well done bro
Ähm, our universe actually isn't infinite. It's space is limited by the distance light went since the big bang. That means the universe has a radius of approximately 14 -15 billion lightyears. Btw, why schould they end the whole story with Ep. IX, when the studios can make more money with another trilogy and another and another? As long as they have a good story and interesting characters, why not.
***** Good question. I thought about myself. By saying light, i mean infact the whole electromagnetic spectrum. So even the (for humans) invisible part of the universe is finite. Our universe, as we know it, started with the big bang and expanded since then. Beyond that i can just say, there is nothing. For me, there is a big difference between nothing and infinity. I cannot explain this nothing beyond nor can the most intelligent astrophysicists. Why? All our thinking is limited by the physical order we live in. Even if we try to fill the gaps with imagination and beliefs, they come from brain-/bodyfunctions, limited by the physical order we live in. One might say, the nothing is infinite. Well, to get an idea of infinity, there must be anything finite. Without anything beeing finite, infinity cannot exist. Nothing is neither finite, nor infinite, it's just nothing. Well, thats all philosophical. For a mathmatic example, think about, why Pi is an infinite order of numbers ;)
***** My pov is based on current accepted scientific theories about our universe. If anyone comes up with better working theories be my guest. The Question whether there is something or nothing outside our universe is a matter of what we belief. It doesn't change the fact, that our universe, as we know, is not infinite. The part with "nothing" and "infinity", well, i tried to explain my beliefs. "I'm not sure why you assume finite has to exist for an infinite to exist" Concerning the philosophical pov, it is simple, because who defines or rather tries to imagine, what infinity is? We do and we are finite "Pi is an irrational number..." Exactely. Eventhough our universe is finite, the distance in between can be broken down into infinite small units.
We can only see that far because that's how old the Universe is, it could expand forever beyond due to the Universe growing faster than the speed of light following the Big Bang.
This was amazing. I'm blown away. It would be perfect if they do this for the series. I always wanted to know why the Sith do what they do and to what end. The Jedi position was clearer. I always thought there should have been 2 dynamics 1. A story line with a Sith turning good and expanding on this 2. a third force being. One neither Sith or Jedi but enemy to both and hunting them down like Starkiller was hunting and collecting Jedi sabres. And forcing both sides to come together to survive and thus causing a joining of the force like how you talked about at the end of your video. Anyway, love your idea more.
Alix Ahmad Your first point... that is why I want a Knights of the Old Republic Trilogy. It would be perfect, showing Revan fall to the dark side, then be brought back to the light. Kind of like what happened to Darth Vader, except the story would revolve around the sith, which is something we haven't seen before. Also we would get to see freaking multiple sith and jedi facing off, which also hasn't been seen before. Just my thoughts.
Alix Ahmad Honestly, the Sith may excuse their cruelty with convincing reasons, but really, they are just as the Jedi saw them, albeit more dangerous and cunning. They are cruel, selfish, and driven COMPLETELY by their passions, with no room for logic. The jedi of the Old Order were just as bad, in my opinion, though. The jedi were, yes, merciful selfless, but also without feeling. They were about as inhuman as the Sith, but at the other radical end of the spectrum. True good comes from a balance between the two. THIS is the true meaning of bringing balance to the force: The balance of Reason AND Emotion to guide one's actions. Reason is stifling, and emotion is chaotic, but a balance between the two brings out the best of people.
I dig your ideas bro. If only Disney went into the sequel trilogy with an actual full plan rather then just making it up as then went along & expecting us to eat it all up just because it has "Star Wars" in the name.
Wow, BanditIncorporated, great story. After seeing JarJar binks screw episode VII and Disney erase all expanded universe... you're our only hope now. For people like me who now think that it is Disney's Star Wars which is not cannon, we need you to write and put your Ep7 8 and 9 up on the Tube. Then we can point the kids to the real story.
I think this is one of the best conclusion ideas I've ever heard!!! This was really interesting and would love to hear it explored more!!! Keep up the good work!
it is the plot of malak and raven before the old republic, before episode 1. it is already done. jedi's breaks from the jedi council to fight manalorian warrior's (creating jedi civil war) this meaning that malak and raven to turn to the darkside then creation of a sith army then raven turns to the lightside and defeating the mandalorians creating the time of the old republic where the galaxy was divided in 2 the sith empire and the republic alliance. peace was made but not for long and the sith was defeated in the end. Darth Plegus and Darth Sidious one of the last sith then planing to take over the republic from within. Darth sidious also known as Palpatine then kills plegus and the movies starts with Palpatine creating Anakin Skywalker Through the force and Through plegus knowledge of creating life making Anakins mom having a virgin birth of what is to believe the the chosen one with power over light and Darkness stronger then any. palpatine quickly corrupts anakin to the darkside and the jedi's holding him bag making him sure to never know his full power. unfortunately for palpatine Darth Vader is cut in Pieces and burned in a volcano resulting him in losing most of his powers. (the force comes from all living things and now he is less living and more machine) Palpatine then discovers luke skywalker and then trying to turn him but luke has no right hand and young in the force but strong in the lightside making him less attractive. palpatine was then killed by Darh Vader who turns to the "lightside" making princess lea the only intact power of light and darkness. she or her children should be the once to reach the barrier.
Robin Davey Sounds great! I can see why stuff like Agents of Shield would have trouble, cos there cinematic universe is kinda small, but with Star Wars they got literally an entire universe. So there's no need to worry about the tv and the movies stepping on each others creative toes
No youre not alone lolll Even though i never agree with his ideas....i find it interesting to hear what he thinks, but thanks god hes not in control of the movies...they would be worst then the prequals imo! Loll can you imagine a star wars movie where Han Solo is out smart by C3-PO, that wouldnt be Han Solo anymore!! or a star wars movie with a barrier that ends the universe!?!? So the star wars universe would litteraly be in a box...loll Or guns that uses bullets instead of lasers like in his prequels remakes...or with energy beings instead of force ghosts....no, just no!
+Joseph Gibbs His ideas are crazy. He can write fanfics all he wants, but they are nothing close to the spirit of star wars. The "wall at the edge of the universe" ideas is stupid. I'm glad that JJ Abrams went with a "the galaxy is really fucked up now" tone, rather than a "universe full of happy smiling people" that this guy suggests.
Joes Reviews his ideas are way better the first phantom menace he did was not that good but at least not as bad as the original I liked everything but the thing that I didn't like was the bullets. But man the second was way better and the third one was incredible and Star Wars 7 was good but disappointing I expected better
I watched this video months ago but just re watched again and I can't say HOW MUCH I love this theory. I wish THIS was what the new trilogy would be about. Hopefully some of the concepts you present (at least partially) will be in the new movies.... hopefully
Yeah, Star Wars is about trade negociations and fucking galatic council, and not shit like the fight of good and evil, memorable characters and the exploring the power of the force
TheOjkk No actually hopefully it won't be what you're sarcastic reply to me was or what this guy in his video is saying it should be about.Instead it better just be the best possible version of a good star wars film since the original trilogy was made and what fans of those films(star wars,Empire and Jedi), the real fans actually want.
Here's some advice to all of you who will watch Star Wars 7 when it comes out... wear sun glasses, since this is JJ Abrams movie and since he is in "love" with lens flares.
I thing you got something wrong. George Lucas said, there will be 0 MOVIES. But that doesn't mean, this will be the end. The Legacy Comics are already playing in the future of episode 6. And once George said, it wll be 12 films, so it could be 12 movies.
There were originally 9 episodes to the script. Hence 9 movies. They originally only deemed the middle 3 worthy of movies but eventually made the first three which we now know as episodes I I I and iii. These next 3 should be the final 3 based on the original plot, but yes, now Disney have it and there is an expanded universe, who knows.
+CaryDorse to bad episdoes 7,8,9,10,11,12 aren't the true story. I know what people think about George but its his story, and disney should have let him write the story. He is a good story teller, but a crappy directer
I thoroughly enjoyed the thought put into this. I'm not quite sure if they can copy and paste other star wars stories, but a thought has crossed into my mind. Even though the empire was destroyed and the death star was destroyed, that does not mean that the whole empire was destroyed as if the were the droid army in Phantom Menace. This brings up the question...where are they? Well there was a video game call Star Wars: Jedi Outcast 2. In this game, the remaining part of the empire are called the remnant and the story turns out that a jedi turned to the dark side and started to change the remaining stormtroopers into siths called "Reborns". Although this is a theory on finding a new enemy, it doesn't really solve the big picture...how does this thing end. This situation would work but they would have a hard time completing the trilogy because this plot can only work for one movie. But there are some ideas that can be taken form this and improved on. I like the idea that you proposed about the universe being extended and I was interested in this idea enough to say, "Wow this crazy bag of fucknuts might actually be right" lol. The biggest challenge presented in this movie, is finding an enemy or threat that can last 3 movies and stimulate a plot. And since I'm pretty sure they will be looking into the future, this will be challenging, it does kind of fall into that mass effect "well what now" category. So my best advice for the writers, is to look at every piece of star wars ever created, books, video games, and fans imaginations, draw from it, and take it from there.
Oh and there needs to be appearances by old characters, but not influential roles. Han, Leah, and Luke, should be the only ones with roles worthy of noting.
the problem with that is, this trilogy faces problems like the new trilogy did. just like the new trilogy was backed into a corner story-wise, this one will be too. whenever "reviving" anything, you have continuity issues. and to me its just not worth it start from scratch, make a whole new enemy, and only revive things to keep the movies logical (such as keeping the enemies the sith... I mean, if its not a sith vs jedi movie, its not star wars)
Okay, so I paused the video near the beginning cause I wanted to say this before I got too distracted. I watched both your "What it should have been" Star Wars prequel videos, and I absolutely loved them!! Loved them! I would give anything to see your concept for the prequels funded by hollywood and made into real movies. Now! That said I also felt the need to ask, do you in any form Game Mastering for tabletop games such as well, the Star Wars RPGs, Pathfinder, etc. I would be surprised if you did. your story weaving and line reads are excellent and make me want to get back into pen and paper RPG groups all over again! But I'm rambling. Just want to say again, AMAZING work and I certainly look forward to your future videos!! Okay! back to the rest of this video and then onto some binge watching of your other previous works! Till next time!
+BanditIncorporated I'm meh about it and I've seen it. Better than the prequels but so are most shits I take. Dialogue was crap, plot was the same, acting was brutal in parts. And as you said in this video the references and call backs were too much. Some good points sure but I'm very underwhelmed. Hopefully part 8 + 9 are better. I actually enjoyed your rewrite of the prequels more than force awakens.
+Oscar Avalos seriously dude? It was garbage and it is a fact that it used the same plot points as a new hope. Get out of denial and stop making immature comments that don't make any sense. Grow up and realize that just because something has the name Star Wars and a few lightsabers, doesn't make it good.
It wasn't like New Hope because in New Hope they travelled from Tatooine to Alderaan to Yavin and it took them days. In The Force Awakens EVERYONE could be EVERYWHERE in the whole f*cking galaxy in less than half an hour. They even could destroy a planet lightyears away in a matter of minutes. That's what bugged me the most -.-
Seeing it in 2019.... and they made every single one mistake that you was worried of.
To the T that’s is sad, Depressing even
Kathleen Kennedy
F you
Watching this even though I have already seen episode 7.
Same :) 😃
Same XD
Same
Chris Clarke what’s your opinion on things now ? 😂
I am from 2019 dude
Nah, let's make a PLANET SIZED death star
That's no moon that's a -spacestation- a new hope remake
watching this 9 years later is utterly depressing
Leon Alexander Rey being no one was the best twist in that movie tho. Shows that you don’t have to come from somewhere special to be a hero
Can you make this into a video in the style of your prequel videos? Please? The animated fanfic kind?
Yes please. I know you are very hateful of Star Wars right now bandit and I share the same hate, but we need the satisfaction that you can give to Star Wars
Absolutely brilliant ideas here. You really have a talent for storytelling.
Wow. They really should have consulted you before making 7 and 8. You are talented. Movies suck nowadays. You need to start writing professionally bro. I feel like there is wasted talent here.
I was just laughing when you talked about planning ahead.
they clearly didn't watch this video
youd think it would be pretty obvious. The 9th movie is the END. If youre writing the last three: PLAN WHAT YOU"RE WRITING! lololol NO? okay then.
man i can't help. i love the prequels. the originals were obviously better no contest, but i am that guy who loves everything star wars so i just can't help it but love the prequels.
BanditIncorporated thats actually how I got into Star Wars. I saw the prequels when I was maybe 7 or 8 years old. I instantly fell in love
And I actually started read the Star Wars books when I was in 4th year of elementary school... and I'm now a 21 years old university student, and I still read star wars books, comics, play Star Wars games, etc.^^XD :3
they r making more than 3 diney already said
ok
ok
ok
Does it answer the question of whether Luke Skywalker ever gets the power converters he wanted?
Please.
Jedi robes are awesome! And equal rights for droids?!? Wtf.
JeremiahM Gallagher Jedi robes are terrible. Literally why they exist is because ben kenobi was wearing a robe in the first movie.
This is such a nostalgic watch. Literally everything he said should not happen ended up happening in the Sequels we got. Also the “maybe George Lucas caused more damage than he thought” is one of the most hilariously ironic lines lmao
My god this guy needs to work for Disney!
dont say the lords name in van
He's too original and creative for Disney, and they can't risk that. They need to be as uninspired and safe as possible.
Unfortunately they just repeated the same thing.
Empire = First Order
Resistance = Rebels
Snoke = Emperor
Kylo Ren = Darth Vader
Rey = Female Mary Sue Luke
Luke, Leia, and Han = Well...Luke, Leia, and Han
doesn't matter it was still great the first order was the empire being built up from the rubble but their are a lot of differences you need to put them next to each other and you will see the differences they are subtle but huge.
I see where you're going with the resistance being just the rebels the rebel alliance was turned into the new republic.
snoke is not the emporer he has a similar role in episode seven we will need to see the next movie
the one about Rey doesn't make sense if Rey is like Luke because she knows the force then all Jedi would be like Luke seriously use logic.
HAHAHAHAHA!
Bandit literally predicted the main problem with the ST in 2013!
I can't stop laughing LMFAO
Yep, I guess Lucasfilm didn't do their fan research.
I think what most don't get though is that there is an actual technological decline occurring in the timeline.
+stevethefishdotnet thats because they had more special effects and gags
Lucas Ward
The ARC Fighters looked more advanced than X-Wings.
Jar Jar becomes a Sith Lord. "Oh, me'sa fraid bombad flector shield be quite operational when you'sa friends arrive!"
14:52 somes up the entire trilogy 😅
Actually it's stated in that the ability to come back as a Force Ghost was discovered by Qui-Gon Jinn after he died, whom he later taught this ability to Obi-Wan and Yoda between Episode III and IV. But I find your idea very interesting of the energy beings though.
If i remember many sith dark lords have made that possible in the Old republic(Old sith empire) making Qui-Gon jinn the first JEDI.
I was just clarifying the time space between Yoda and Obi-Wan's training.
I just hope they work in the line for Han solo "Just shoot first, trust me" with a lop sided grin. :3
choibacco That would be awesome!
But the mandalorian is going to reveal that baby Yoda is actually the first snoke clone and answer all answers we have about episodes 7 8 and 9
It was supposed to be new.
I've read and watched a lot of theories and explanations as to what Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens should and shouldn't be! Well, I can honestly say that THIS is exactly what I would LOVE to see as a trilogy!
Sam Cooney Yaaaaaaaaaaay! Thanx bro!
Very well said!
I agree this sounds amazing I would love to see this
Damn YT and it's lack of an edit feature.
The robes are to make the Jedi appear more "Monkish," as they are essentially Clerics of a "hokey religion." Just because Tatooine is a desert world that makes robes a logical way to dress doesn't negate the religious aspect of being a Jedi.
There is an edit feature, unless you're using the mobile version. Move the mouse over your comment and click the arrow that appears on the top right.
EpicFailureFive I'll be damned. . . I've looked everywhere for that button. . .
Thank you! Much appreciated.
All these ideas were way better than what we actually got
No
Well, you're constructive
+Omnipraetor I agree completely.
Watching this in the future of 2021
All the hope this man had....
🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
This man wrote a better sequel trilogy before it was even released
I actually would love if they take this direction with the new films. The force being an actual higher dimensional presence makes absolute sense.
"And thus the LORD said, 'Let us build another Death Star, for the third time is the charm'"
not really a death star it was 50x's bigger and could destroy a system of planets.
+Boldfacedbroom3 It's still a death star. A massive floating space ball that has the ability to destroy entire planets. Also it ends up destroyed thanks to some special convenient weakness in it.
+DarkReality it was the Trench Run from Hope plus the core idea from Return of the Jedi
Your ideas are genius, there are some things that are a little iffy, but for the most part, It's great!
Excuse me sir. Why are you not working with Disney on this movie?
They need you and your ideas!
Could you do a what it shouldve been video on the sequel films
Is it just me or do the Star Wars movies remind me about American history:
Prequels=all the stuff that started the American Revolution
Classic Trilogy=the American Revolution
New films= War of 1812. The rebels have become their own entity and our now fighting the remains of the monarchy that are still trying to defeat the rebels even after the rebels won. Except, with more lasers and stuff...
Error Macro The Star Wars movies remind me more of World War II and Nazi germany especially with Palpatine.
Ed Drabek world war 2+ colonial era America+ lightsabers= Star Wars...
I know right
Error Macro maybe if "all the stuff that started the American Revolution" was disjointed and terribly acted/directed/written. :D
dhaisley hey they weren't bad actors. They were just consistent (Ryan Higa reference)
15:00 Oh if only you knew how right that throw away line was...
Checking in from 2016: C3PO *does* have a red arm now...
Checking in from 2018:
Luke drinks milk from a space cow nipple.
Empire 2.0 is back and treading the same water
the lead role is a mary sue.
if you think ewoks are bad, wait for porgs.
***** Thanx bro :D
I mean, if you consider plagiarism to be "playing it safe" . . .
Neil Ganti thank you
Neil Ganti Yea but the reason they did that was cause so many people hated the damn prequels
I'm from the future, they didn't do this.
4:34 OOOOOH Bandit, I just came from the year 2019. And BOY do I have some news for you.
It is odd that 6 years ago seems so long ago but it's like the force awakens was released yesterday.
I don't understand. Why make New Vilians When you can have the Yuuzhan Vongs. Those SOBs are terrifying and would be good "replacement".
+Arthur Wellesley Well in Episode VII will have a Sith like group called "The Knights of Ren" and an Empire like Organization called "The First Order"
Cynthia Utz Still not nearly as badass as the Vongs :)
+Arthur Wellesley I think The Knights of Ren are awesome
Cynthia Utz More Awesome than the Vongs?
I think not.
Visitormassacre That is why I prefer the Knights of Ren. And The First Order for Episode VII. And plus the Yuuzahn Vongs are non cannon.
**end pet theory**
Using this as a baseline. .
This would make the interaction between Threepio and Han that you suggested even more delicious. . .
Han to Threepio: "Shut it, Goldenrod!'
Threepio responds: "Excuse me, Sir - but *I* am a Jedi Knight, and you will show me proper respect!"
Han mutters under his breath: "What has the galaxy come to, that they let such a bucket of bolts become a Jedi?"
Yes - I realize that I'm replying to myself. . . but YT doesn't have an "edit" feature. . .
As far as Artoo & Threepio following the Sith Rule of Two - it's a *binary* rule, perfectly fitting with digital logic.
Reverend Draco
> YT doesn't have an edit feature
Yes it does. Click on the small arrow in the top right hand corner of your comment. It's been there for about 6 months.
EDIT: Notice how it says 'edited' above my comment now?
SamuriLemonX18
Yeah. . . somebody recently clued me in to that. Thanks.
Yeah, J.J. and Disney blew it.
"A Rehashed Dope" was a colossal waste of time.
I prefer "The Farce Awakens" as the childish renaming of TFA
14:52 Yeah... Fuck you, Disney. You had one job...
Disclaimer: I don't dislike the movies we got, but it's frustrating to know what they could have been, and how much of this video made absolute sense and we saw none of it become reality.
"There is no empire" Well, fuck it, there is. Let's just place a new, ultraoverpowered dark empire in the middle of the universe for no reason and a complete lack of motivation or actual targets. Your suggestions were actually quite good. In fact, it seems like all fan-theories turn out to be more enjoyable than the eventual Disney-thing.
This has sadly become the funniest video on youtube.
You know whats funny?
Every single thing that this dude said that should not happen in the new trilogy
Somehow happened!
Watching this in 2021 after the sequel trilogy: oof if only.
I wish I had a time machine so that way I could go back in time and make you the director of the new trilogy
I really want a scene where the empire slaugther jar jar and his tribe!
no i would like to see han accidentally hit him with his ship it would be so funny
Yeah but we will see Jar Jar in the movie as well as gungans.
I'd like to see Jar Jar blow up the death star and then go, "Oopsa". Now that would make a good movie.
The Piano Guy I can make that xD
Darth Destroyer
Please do.
Legend of Korra.
It uses older generation characters, i.e. Avatar, the last airbender, in a fantastic way.
***** Book 4 was good but that wasn't really my point. I was using Korra's use of old characters as an example of it done well
John Doe they even had the Yoda role filled by Toph
TheChickenSage Toph was better than Yoda, in my opinion, and this comes from a huge SW fan :D
Ah...they each have their place, Toph isn't better than Yoda. You can't put Toph in a backpack and to backflips...come on...
TheChickenSage I could but she would kick my ass for that.
This is the bigest Problem wth Shows like "Smallville" and "Gotham" - they can not move on with their characters! They are frozen in time: Villain or Hero.
13:45 he jinxed us
7 minutes and I already liked and add to favorites after hearing that idea about droids being equal and C-3PO being able to have arguments with Han.
BanditIncorporated I would have thought JJ would stay away from this idea after the negativity towards "The Wrath of Kahn" scene in Into Darkness.
If we go by your plot idea, which I like, the love story should be between a Jedi and a Sith.
I TOTALLY AGREE!!
This makes sense!!!
"you can't make three whole movies just by referencing the old stuff"
That's where you're wrong, buddy
Oh man.... how much I wish this came true.
I swear you're from the future and just tried to point out every mistake they were going to make
I’m from the year 2019. Darkness has risen over Star Wars with solo, The force awakens and the awful the last Jedi.
GamingStork The Last Jedi was the greatest Star Wars movie since Empire Strikes Back
Some good ideas here. The creators really need someone like you to help work on these movies.
I think the conclusion to the story should be focused on revealing the force and its mysteries.
bandit must have been so desapointed when he saw the movie
I saw this vid back when it first got posted. And I was incredibly disappointed after watching the actual ep 7...
That was freaking fantastic and perfect. Shame nobody in charge had such vision.
Disney will eventually pay the price for their lack of vision...
im just saying that really nice job dude. this open a whole new world to me from star wars and u got soem great ideas, keep it going man u got 1 sub more just for this video. well done bro
*****
Good question.
*****
My pov is based on current accepted scientific theories about our universe. If anyone comes up with better working theories be my guest.
The Question whether there is something or nothing outside our universe is a matter of what we belief. It doesn't change the fact, that our universe, as we know, is not infinite.
The part with "nothing" and "infinity", well, i tried to explain my beliefs.
"I'm not sure why you assume finite has to exist for an infinite to exist"
Concerning the philosophical pov, it is simple, because who defines or rather tries to imagine, what infinity is?
We do and we are finite
"Pi is an irrational number..."
Exactely. Eventhough our universe is finite, the distance in between can be broken down into infinite small units.
We can only see that far because that's how old the Universe is, it could expand forever beyond due to the Universe growing faster than the speed of light following the Big Bang.
*****
No contradiciton here, because those theories apply to our universe only.
bob bill
Interesting pov. You are right, there is an infinity. My pov was based on the current space limits. Time i did not take into account.
This was amazing. I'm blown away. It would be perfect if they do this for the series.
I always wanted to know why the Sith do what they do and to what end. The Jedi position was clearer.
I always thought there should have been 2 dynamics
1. A story line with a Sith turning good and expanding on this
2. a third force being. One neither Sith or Jedi but enemy to both and hunting them down like Starkiller was hunting and collecting Jedi sabres. And forcing both sides to come together to survive and thus causing a joining of the force like how you talked about at the end of your video.
Anyway, love your idea more.
Alix Ahmad Thanx bro, yr a champ XD
6:28 Well, he did start on his arm in The Force Awakens.
So... are you satisfied with the result? Would be very interesting.
I don't care how, but someone get this to JJ
Wow, BanditIncorporated, great story. After seeing JarJar binks screw episode VII and Disney erase all expanded universe... you're our only hope now.
For people like me who now think that it is Disney's Star Wars which is not cannon, we need you to write and put your Ep7 8 and 9 up on the Tube.
Then we can point the kids to the real story.
*Jar Jar Abrams
Why would you want to forget Ewan McGregor? He's awesome as Obi-Wan Kenobi :)
Amen
He was the best part of the prequels without a doubt
Wow... this is quite painful to watch in '19, days before "Rise of Skywalker"...
I think this is one of the best conclusion ideas I've ever heard!!! This was really interesting and would love to hear it explored more!!!
Keep up the good work!
what if they had a jedi civil war. like a terrorist group spawned from the jedi order.
I think that was the plot for The Winter Soldier.
EpicFailureFive no it was between the avengers. trust me it was not even close.
***** The plot was Hydra regrew from high ranking officials in SHIELD being secret members, it had nothing to do with the Avengers.
EpicFailureFive OMG I KNOW. I'm saying that the civil war in the comics involved the avengers splitting up and fighting each other.
it is the plot of malak and raven before the old republic, before episode 1. it is already done. jedi's breaks from the jedi council to fight manalorian warrior's (creating jedi civil war) this meaning that malak and raven to turn to the darkside then creation of a sith army then raven turns to the lightside and defeating the mandalorians creating the time of the old republic where the galaxy was divided in 2 the sith empire and the republic alliance. peace was made but not for long and the sith was defeated in the end.
HI again Bandit what are your thoughts on star wars rebels being connected the the starters cinematic universe?
U R AWSOME!!!! bye
Robin Davey Sounds great! I can see why stuff like Agents of Shield would have trouble, cos there cinematic universe is kinda small, but with Star Wars they got literally an entire universe. So there's no need to worry about the tv and the movies stepping on each others creative toes
Am I the only one happy this guy has no control over the movies.
No youre not alone lolll
Even though i never agree with his ideas....i find it interesting to hear what he thinks, but thanks god hes not in control of the movies...they would be worst then the prequals imo!
Erick Gaudreault I know right, his prequels ideas with blasters being brand new inventions was just worse then what george lucas ever did
+Joseph Gibbs His ideas are crazy.
Elfsong713 : except that JJ Abrams idea just mostly repeat ANH's. At least Bandit's ideas are original.
It's fun to look back at what we thought was gonna happen.
I do wish Bandit would make his ideas in to a fan fiction.
It's like Kathleen Kennedy and the bunch, watched this and said:"We're gonna do the opposite."
Painfully rewatching this in 2020. “Palpatine was always the plan” ... lol ok. What an absurd waste of potential
I watched this video months ago but just re watched again and I can't say HOW MUCH I love this theory. I wish THIS was what the new trilogy would be about. Hopefully some of the concepts you present (at least partially) will be in the new movies.... hopefully
Hopefully not.
This is a good theory and he has put a lot of effort into this video
+prioritysignalstardestroyer www.reddit.com/r/StarWarsLeaks/comments/3j1rpt/just_finished_aftermath_any_questions/
This is pretty good. Props to the fan-fiction.
Here's some advice to all of you who will watch Star Wars 7 when it comes out... wear sun glasses, since this is JJ Abrams movie and since he is in "love" with lens flares.
Hey BanditIncorporated can you make a fan fiction movie from your what star wars force awakens should be thanks.
14:53 you just predicted the future
Just saw the movie, watching this bit of speculation is funny now.
More like sad how it's everything he hoped it won't be.
I thing you got something wrong. George Lucas said, there will be 0 MOVIES. But that doesn't mean, this will be the end. The Legacy Comics are already playing in the future of episode 6. And once George said, it wll be 12 films, so it could be 12 movies.
+CaryDorse If you look at the spin-offs like Rogue One.
7, 8 and 9 were originally the last 3, and totally different script.
Han, Leah, and Luke, should be the only ones with roles worthy of noting.
the problem with that is, this trilogy faces problems like the new trilogy did. just like the new trilogy was backed into a corner story-wise, this one will be too. whenever "reviving" anything, you have continuity issues. and to me its just not worth it
start from scratch, make a whole new enemy, and only revive things to keep the movies logical (such as keeping the enemies the sith... I mean, if its not a sith vs jedi movie, its not star wars)
I just hope that somehow Jacen Solo/Darth Caedus makes it into the new trilogy
Charles Chapman Thanx so much bro
Charles Chapman Look up the term cosmic horizon before you spout bullshit you don't know kid.
Yeah nobody is really excited about it...just going to smash all kinds of box-office records that's all.
+Michael Santos True. I uploaded this back in 2013 abouts. And back then people were just "meh" about it
+BanditIncorporated No worries ,hopefully it lives up to the hipe.
+John Doe it sold 8x more tickets online when they became available than the previous record holder which was the most recent Hunger Games movie.
+Simon P McCullagh Brutal acting? You must have seen an Adam Sandler movie.
it was straight up a new hope again
And it still didn't feel like Star Wars
nope you're both wrong. and fuck both of y'all for thinking anything otherwise
That's what bugged me the most -.-
1 year later and I'm still watching this Bandit you are just brilliant
This is one of the greatest dissertations I have ever seen. Thank you for posting - from your vid to J.J.'s ears. Hope....again. Peace!
