I have an idea of two new video series you can do. So here they are! The first video series is called "What made it so great." This video series will be basically set up as a random movie or television series that you have seen throughout your life. You will break down what made that move/television show great, the success of failure of casting choices for characters, who you thought would have been better (or your secret dream choice), and maybe some disagreements on endings to these medium. Maybe you can improve on the existing endings, or defend what made them/ or makes them so great. The next video series I recommend is the "What should the next (insert genre) move/television shows should we have? For example you might say there is a huge absence of great detective shows in recent times, and I feel we need more variety. Then you might start the video saying WHY DO WE NEED MORE OF THIS? Well maybe because I like variety, maybe I get tired of dramas about a highschool, or a damn hospital. Maybe I wanna see a genre full of great villains, great motives, interesting characters, maybe I wanna trade romantic triangles, with impossible crimes, and sympathetic motivations for crime! That is basically all I got for now but keep up the good work! P.S. I would be happy even if my suggestions ended up not being used, but rather became inspiration for a new video series. But if I had to choose between these two I would suggest doing the first one I mentioned.
this is amazing so many possibilities to put so many very interesting stories I strongly recommend that you make another video I'm going more in depth into what Terminator movie based on this premise should be .
So fucking clever. That idea of Terminator sent back and forming their own personalities leaves huge potential for some truly fascinating characters. Hell if there's some in the 1800s who have to repair themselves with 1800s tech then we could have steampunk Terminators! Awesome!
Wow. It's extremely ambitious and complicated but if you have a great screenwriter who can get all of those rules and exposition established in the film quickly without it being hard to follow or too long and boring, it could be one of the best set ups for a great sci-fi action film, instead of again recycling the "T800 goes back to protect important person" plot point.
Sams ChanneI Yeah explaining it all in the first 20 minutes without it seeming confusing is the challenge, but if they got past that, I reckon they'd be golden. BTW I saw yr "why man of steel didn't work" video. And while I disagreed with everything (cos im a superman fanboy) I liked yr well reasoned arguments. But at the bit where u were showing all the action overload stuff, I did start to get into the action again, even tho u were showing it as a negative haha
it'd be cool to establish that the government throughout time has had Terminators blending in which ultimately leads to them designing Skynet in the first place
In the 1800's Jack The Ripper could have been a broken terminator. He could only go out at night when the coppers aren't about otherwise they'll just shoot him. As I said he was broken because Jacks CPU or his power core could be exposed making him easy to kill with the weapons of industrialism!
This. Is. Amazing! The whole concept is just mind blowing! Then again, you're on that level of awesomeness, the hollywood script writers can never get to. Marvelous stuff, man. *Brain snapped!* Subscribed and thumbs up! :D
I imagined that the future Terminators were sent after Skynet died. The T-1000 and T-X were in storage, and the lock was de-activated with its death Your idea is awesome
WOW - thats amazing. You have an amazing creative mind. I doubt if the Genesis movie is even half as good as this. Shall subscribe to your site. Well done Bandit.
The Time War premise seems like an interesting innovative idea however I think it would only work as a long running television series, preferably on a premium pay cable uncensored Network that is accustomed to productions of medium-large budget large scale series like HBO. As series of theatrical releases it just wouldn't work.
The idea of Skynet being god for Terminators is awesome, I really like that. The "Skynet infiltrating history" idea has some flaws, though. First of all, a T1000 or a T-X would be virtually unstoppable in earlier times. Think of it, with which technology would you try to stop any Terminator model in, let's say, 1750? (Unless you rig it to Benjamin Franklins kite and overload it with electricity from a flash) Resistance fighters would need to use whatever the time period has to offer and black powder and a cannon would be very insufficient. The main problem, though, would be the gramdfather paradox this would create and Skynet should know that. In case Skynet loses the battle in the past, everything might turn out just fine, because the events are actually part of the timeline and somehow the reason, our timeline exists. (Just like in the first movie - T800 fails, but John Connor being born is the direct result of Skynets intervention) But in case Skynet wins, it simply would cease to exist. Kill all humans in 1800? So who will create Skynet now?
@ iKillerZombie But then again. how can they... uuuargh, this is why movies about time travel always have flaws, thinking about such things always ends in a mess. Let me try to explain it with a quote from the 2002 remake of "The Time Machine". Terrible movie, but this one quote gives a really nice explanation. The inventor of the time machine builds the machine out of _one_ reason. He had to watch how his fiancee was killed and built the time machine in order to save her. He succeeds, only to see how history corrects itself by killing her again and again. _"You built your time machine because of Emma's death. If she had lived, it would never have existed. So how could you use your machine to go back in time and save her? You are the inescapable result of your tragedy, just as I am the inescapable result of you. You have your answer."_ And I think that this would be true for Skynet sending Terminators to the past. What they do would either create the very reality we and Skynet now in the first place _or_ history would try to correct itself by introducing all kinds of coincidences, like a Skynet in the year 1800 getting hit by a meteor. I think "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" had some _very_ interesting ideas about this, but unfortunately this show got axed prematurely and with a giant cliffhanger.
Furzkampfbomber Time travel doesn't exactly have a singular set of rules as to how it works given that it's fictional. Time travel works differently in each movie about time travel
@ iKillerZombie Of course you are right. And we are still talking about movies, not everything has to make sense. I love Dr. Who, which sometimes creates an absolute mess, then declares that time is that "whibbly-whobbly... thing" and thus explains every problem away. But then again, things should at least make some sense, especially in a movie which has less time to explain things and to establish certain mechanism than a tv series has. When you go back in time and shoot your father before you are conceived, how can you go back in time and shoot your father? By the way, if you want to see a movie that does pretty much everything wrong in regards to time travel, then this would be "Looper". I have a hard time thinking of a movie that is more stupid and illogical. There is a scene when the younger self of a man gets tortured by getting his fingers and feet cut off one by one. And somehow the older version of this man watches his fingers disappear before his eyes in horror, which makes absolutely no sense, no matter what rules are established. Because the older version would simply have lived without his fingers and legs for the last 20 years or so.
Furzkampfbomber There are plenty of iconic time travel movies out there with gaping holes in how their time travel works. For instance, in Back to the Future 2, when Marty goes to 2015, how can his future self be there when by normal time travel rules AND what was established in the first movie, he should have disappeared in 1985 and then reappeared in 2015 in a timeline where he was gone for 30 years. Let's be honest, audiences are always going to have to stretch their suspension of disbelief with time travel movies more than any other type of movie so if we can do it with movies like the Back to the Future trilogy, we can do it for Looper or Bandit's Terminator idea
I rarely say this, but that is a brilliant idea to continue the series as something more than a formulaic sci-fi action franchise. It is perfect as it gives a better explanation as to WHY Judgement Day was always inevitable (rather than just time flow auto-correct.)
If they can do a kind of X-Men Days of Future Past thing with this movie it could really work. But I still prefer the Idea of Arnie now playing a human, the original human that the T-100s were created from.
BanditIncorporated Yeh like maybe have him play some-kind of grissled military veteran who was either once a commander in the resistance and went missing on a special mission, or like just somekind of nomad who survived out in that apocalyptic wasteland on his own, and eventually got captured by the machines. That to me is a true "Genesis" of the Terminators.
goofy boy Apparently they are going to do 3 movies before 2018, so they might have a trilogy planned. The rights to Terminator go back to James Cameron in 2019, so they wana pump out as many movies as they can before they have to give it back
I hoped you lived long enough to see Terminator: Resistance. It was the true 3rd Terminator film. Especially the DLC Annihilation Line. It answered a lot of questions we had about the future war....including who the female soldier was that was blown up by the HK tank.
I think "The SkyCode" is already present in the "OS" of the Terminators. I think we should explain the WTF at the end of "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles".
The last bit with John conner raising himself is called a paradox and would tear a hole in the fabric of reality...unless u had a tardis which could sustain the paradox 😏😏😏😎
Its be awesome if in the end a few terminators joined the side of humanity and (with the help of a silver-tongued human) made skynet to what is was originally intended to be, a defence-system for humanity. Human and machine working together. I know that sound cheesy and kinda gay but itd be a good ending in my book. (This all happen in the past-present so that way the timeline is altered the great war never happened, though that might be taking it a little too far when it comes to cliched endings, and I dont think that would be a good end-ending, just kind of trivia about what happened after all the movies.)
Dude, this is a good idea not only for a terminator film but also a terminator video game. Imean your suggestions are perfect for an X-COM-style/C&C-style Terminator game in which you play as the humans or the machines and fight the whole war against the machines or humans depending on who you side with. Strategic mode works out with a full layer of the Earth and time periods and tracks the progress of the war as well as build bases, armies, research new technologies and extract resources.. In tactical mode you have C&C type gameplay in which you command armies and fight for either human or machine in these ginormous maps which can be beautifully replicated and not only that, the story of the game is player driven. There is no linear story after the first few missions for either side with both sides starting shortly after Judgement Day and then when fighting battles in the original timeline, the alternate timeslines or time paradoxes begin happening AFTER you invent time travel and this makes the game interesting. Anyway that is what I would recommend rather than use the ideas for a film alone.
SORRY man but I saw Terminator: Genesys and it's kind of a prequil/sequel/reboot mash-up like film that uses the best elements from all four Terminator movies, BUT what this video could in fact be used in the 6'th movie to explain what's happening and what's going on in the fifth movie?
I keep thinking about how if the new movies are about time jumping and revisiting the previous movies Reese could either survive 'The Terminator' or be transported out of 1984 before ever getting to the computer factory... Which then could theoretically allow the return of Michael Biehn! Sure, Jai is the young Reese, but if he's not dead he'll get old eventually!
Yeah problem is tho John Connor cannot encounter himself well if he does he musnt touch him as the same person can't occupy the same space and time they would be annihilated on contact.
Skycode sounds good. Or the Genesiscode because of the rebuilding cycle they started...Your story and plot idea is really something. But I have the feeling that it would fit better in a series...The amount of Terminators to be send back is huge...this is why a series would be better. But it also makes the future uncertain for Connor in the movie because no one really knows if the Human Resistance Hit Squads actually were successful in their mission.
Great video dude but as i see this concept of yours. i feel like this should be rather continuation to sarah connor chronicles than a series of movies.
Why couldn't this be the future of Terminator? This literally would not only breathe new life into the franchise, but also take it into a very new direction. Because, quite frankly, the biggest issue with Terminator was that T2 was too good. That seems weird, but really that second movie wraps up so much of the story. And I love the first one. The third movie just felt tacked on and didn't have much thought. And less we speak of Genyis and Salvation, the better. This would actually work within the rules of the series, all the while giving the franchise more legs to stand on. Also, the extenstential element is very Scifi. I argue it's one of the core elements and why as a genre it works, along with other ideas. This would pit perfectly with the Terminators. Are they controlled by their own actions? Are they defined by Skynet as a god? Who are they? Who was Skynet? Very powerful questions.
This was a brilliant idea except the TX wouldn be sent back in the same future timeline as terminator 1&2. She was sent back in the future where CRS and not CYBERDYNE build Sky Net and John Connor was dead
I love your ideas. They seem like what this franchise may need to be fresh again. Unfortunately, I have to agree with GANMU that such ideas are beyond what Hollywood thinks makes good (translation: MEDIOCRE) movies these days. They don't take the same risks they used to take and stick to what (in their mind) works. If your suggestions DID make it to the big screen, it would probably re-ignite an otherwise stale franchise.
Except the whole ethos of the old Terminator films was the overarching threat that the Terminator is hunting YOU, making films about you hunting the Terminators would completely undermine the same atmosphere that made the Terminators so potent in those films.
Hell yes!!! I love the idea, but I'm tired of nothing but action. What would have been good was the 3rd season of TSCC. I really want to see John fighting a female terminator, in a desperate attempt to survive he starts to negotiate with it. Asking it how it likes being controlled by Skynet, mocking it for not feeling anything at all. John's hate for the machines runs deep for killing his family, but the machine response and begins to question. John realizes they are more and maybe he can even start to love one. Yeah I said it, but it would be interesting.
Wouldn't Terminators derailing humanity throughout history prevent humanity from building Skynet? I always thought that was why they focused on the Connor's (rather than going back to end humanity), they didn't want to prevent their own creation.
but think about that terminator are learning computers trough time they will learn to be just like humans and what if skynet gave blueprint to terminators on how to build skynet in the past because its pretty possible on how to make skynet because we had materials in past it just humans didnt know how to build but an terminator can because he is learning computer that would be able to make big evolution step in the past
Brah here is a idea!! At the final moments of skynet's loss they send a terminator to hunt down Kyle Reece. But now we go to Connors trying to defend him but... ( im not done here) multiple Top Terminator are sent to kill not just Kyle Reece but his entire past family. Now either you can actually kill of Kyle Reece and start some spin off Terminator movies or keep him and end the franchise until 20 years down they re-boot and start from Terminator 1 again. Movie idea #2: as your idea states that Terminator's scattered throughout the timeline we can show that the as Skynet shuts down they tell them to stay in the timeline till Judgement day. But somehow John Conners figures out the plan they are going to carry out and his younger version trains and trains for it. The plan they are going to carry out is: scatter through the human population and become smart political leaders. Take control of up and becoming Skynet that will tend to happen and here are some schematics to some strong ones like you too! Build more and more. John Connors younger version somehow knows this plan and he should Track down and kill all Terminators spread during the timeline wanting to make Skynet again.
NO no no no no no no. Terminator 5 should be about Arnold in human form. He would be the first leader of the resistance. Arnold would be fighting the machines side by side with Kyle Reese's father. Kyle Reese's Father sends his son back in time to have a baby with a random chick which happens to be Sarah and they train their child John Connor to be a future leader but Kyle never tells Sarah why he trained him so much. The machines terminate Arnold and they create a terminator in his image and send him back in time for his first mission.
This doesn't work because Kyle Reese wouldve recognised the T-800 immediately in the Tech Noir scene, instead he only discovers who the terminator is after the T-800 pulls out a gun, meaning that he'd never seen Arnold before, human or Terminator
It is not the worst Terminator movie, but it is FAR from the best. The "Terminator" spends almost 3 minutes monologuing when he finds his target. They shoot at him, he laughs and monologues some more. LAME!
When you were fixing the timeline you messed up. At the end of terminator 3 John Connor says there was no system core it is software soo he would be able to blow it up and u forgot about TSCC with Cameron slot of people say Cameron should be in a terminator movie with Arnold
Re-re-re uploaded due to copyright. Perhaps THIS time the youtube robots will be satisfied!!!!!
Don't know how you could come up with great movie ideas all the time!!!!!!!
It is going to be a Reboot to the Terminator franchise
I have an idea of two new video series you can do. So here they are! The first video series is called "What made it so great." This video series will be basically set up as a random movie or television series that you have seen throughout your life. You will break down what made that move/television show great, the success of failure of casting choices for characters, who you thought would have been better (or your secret dream choice), and maybe some disagreements on endings to these medium. The next video series I recommend is the "What should the next (insert genre) move/television shows should we have?
For example you might say there is a huge absence of great detective shows in recent times, and I feel we need more
variety. Then you might start the video saying WHY DO WE NEED MORE OF THIS? Well maybe because I like variety,
maybe I get tired of dramas about a highschool, or a damn hospital. Maybe I wanna see a genre full of great villains,
great motives, interesting characters, maybe I wanna trade romantic triangles, with impossible crimes, and sympathetic
motivations for crime!
That is basically all I got for now but keep up the good work!
P.S. I would be happy even if my suggestions ended up not being used, but rather became inspiration for a new

how about...What a Martian Manhunter Movie should be
this is amazing so many possibilities to put so many very interesting stories I strongly recommend that you make another video I'm going more in depth into what Terminator movie based on this premise should be .

This would actually make a good TV series. Every episode could be in a different time.
drag00n77 sorta like Legends of tomorrow
You should've written Terminator: Gensys! Why aren't you in Hollywood?
"It's kinda like Back to the future, Only with more killing robots" xD
Are you directing anything soon or what?
Cheers man, you're the kind of viewer I like. We disagree but you're actually nice about it haha keep up the good work
This idea was essentially the Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles series.
what if skynet wins and then we got matrix... :P
berdgar Then John Conner changes his name to Neo, and the story continues
or he makes a child with a black woman named Morpheus
berdgar XD even better
berdgar The Oracle i'm assuming ahahahaaaaa
it'd be cool to establish that the government throughout time has had Terminators blending in which ultimately leads to them designing Skynet in the first place
Edd Alvs thus completing the time loop. Very smart
Jesus, Bandit, you are a great writer!
My god this annihilates what they actually did with the movie
Your idea doesn't just sound like a good Dr.Who vs Cybermen idea, but it sounds like a new Terminator series idea.
In the 1800's Jack The Ripper could have been a broken terminator. He could only go out at night when the coppers aren't about otherwise they'll just shoot him. As I said he was broken because Jacks CPU or his power core could be exposed making him easy to kill with the weapons of industrialism!
really? in the 1950.... I want knights with swords using everything in their time just to take down a t1000 which is believed to be magical!!!
This. Is. Amazing! The whole concept is just mind blowing! Then again, you're on that level of awesomeness, the hollywood script writers can never get to. Marvelous stuff, man. *Brain snapped!* Subscribed and thumbs up! :D
This would work even better as a tv show. It would allow much more time to explore all the things you can write with this premise.
My brain has officially been SNAPPED!
I imagined that the future Terminators were sent after Skynet died. The T-1000 and T-X were in storage, and the lock was de-activated with its death
Your idea is awesome
I'm from the future. John Conner is actually a Terminator
WOW - thats amazing. You have an amazing creative mind. I doubt if the Genesis movie is even half as good as this. Shall subscribe to your site. Well done Bandit.
koelsx2 Welcome! Now yr part of the........we don't have a name for subscribers yet. But welcome!
Er... the Terminator in the 3rd movie said that he killed John Connor before he went back to "present" day
I was going to say that
the rockinator!!!!!!
These were some really good ideas I'd love to see this kind of story play out

You are a freaking genious! Really enjoy your channels
You can use time lord logic you become apart of events and can't go further back with out causing damage
***** Oh yeah.....that's good. Elegant in its simplicity. Good old dr who
7:29 I would have called it the Cybercode
iKillerZombie that's pretty good, as skynet was built by cyberdine, so it would be the cybercode
Your first scenario about skynet sending fleets of terminators back in time is accurate, it says so in the books and comics
Brain SNAPPED!!
12:18 all hail those blocks
Lots of the points you mentioned were present in TSCC tv series

Which then could theoretically allow the return of Michael Biehn! Sure, Jai is the young Reese, but if he's not dead he'll get old eventually!
awsome vid, brain snapted
Yeah problem is tho John Connor cannot encounter himself well if he does he musnt touch him as the same person can't occupy the same space and time they would be annihilated on contact.
A lot better than what we got.
Skycode sounds good. Or the Genesiscode because of the rebuilding cycle they started...Your story and plot idea is really something. But I have the feeling that it would fit better in a series...The amount of Terminators to be send back is huge...this is why a series would be better. But it also makes the future uncertain for Connor in the movie because no one really knows if the Human Resistance Hit Squads actually were successful in their mission.
the problem with the terminators thinking that there humans might happen but another terminator salvation
Mind blown
in terminator the time mahines can only transport organic material
This call not just for a terminator movie but for a video game.
2014 and you still pushing 480p..
WOW! THAT WAS AWESOME
Great video dude but as i see this concept of yours. i feel like this should be rather continuation to sarah connor chronicles than a series of movies.
Wow just great
That are some awsome ideas. Than we have terminator films for the next 30 years every 2 years :-)
Why couldn't this be the future of Terminator?
How much $upport would BANDIT INC. need to finish off the SARA CONNER CHRONICLES in 3 15 min per episode miniseries???
This was a brilliant idea except the TX wouldn be sent back in the same future timeline as terminator 1&2. She was sent back in the future where CRS and not CYBERDYNE build Sky Net and John Connor was dead
I like Genisys but your idea would've made it a better film
6 minutes in and im sold
This is just creating a freaking time paradox no actully several paradoxes.
but isn't the humanity in a short number in the future? It would be more logical if both John and Skynet sent back terminators of all kinds.
This time war idea is great. Can we pretend terminator salvation never happened though?
Except the whole ethos of the old Terminator films was the overarching threat that the Terminator is hunting YOU, making films about you hunting the Terminators would completely undermine the same atmosphere that made the Terminators so potent in those films.
that was so awsomethanks
So much better the film we actually got
+Clyde J yeah
Wouldn't Terminators derailing humanity throughout history prevent humanity from building Skynet? I always thought that was why they focused on the Connor's (rather than going back to end humanity), they didn't want to prevent their own creation.
but think about that terminator are learning computers trough time they will learn to be just like humans and what if skynet gave blueprint to terminators on how to build skynet in the past because its pretty possible on how to make skynet because we had materials in past it just humans didnt know how to build but an terminator can because he is learning computer that would be able to make big evolution step in the past
I will watch them they sound also me .
Too bad that the film-makers weren't this dedicated.
Plot twist: they pull a Borg and make John Connor a terminator
Haha, that's what they did 🤣
NO no no no no no no.
This is a good idea, the guy who made this video was thinking way too much
This doesn't work because Kyle Reese wouldve recognised the T-800 immediately in the Tech Noir scene, instead he only discovers who the terminator is after the T-800 pulls out a gun, meaning that he'd never seen Arnold before, human or Terminator
Yeah, that is true he didn't know how the terminator look until he tried to attack
We're getting a fifth movie only the 3rd & 4th movies didn't happen.
I know these videos would take along time todo but a what it should've been series world be awsome
did u ever come cross marvel now "Indestructible Hulk", in it is own time with hulk.
this would be good for an HBO tv show
It is not the worst Terminator movie, but it is FAR from the best.
The "Terminator" spends almost 3 minutes monologuing when he finds his target. They shoot at him, he laughs and monologues some more. LAME!
A Terminator in the 1800s? Awesome.
It's good but I don't want there to be a final Terminator. I want it to go on forever :)
If time-travel could happen, it would already have happended.
You're fired!
YES YES make this movie!
When you were fixing the timeline you messed up. At the end of terminator 3 John Connor says there was no system core it is software soo he would be able to blow it up and u forgot about TSCC with Cameron slot of people say Cameron should be in a terminator movie with Arnold
