  • Hello Friends & Welcome! I am trying out UA-cam so please be patient with me learning the ins & outs.
This is a more chatty video. I wanted to touch a little on the "trad wife" meaning, how I became a traditional wife/homemaker and tips for dealing with the pushback that can come with choosing a traditional life style

Thanks for the encouragement and perspective! ❤
Another thing I would say that can be helpful when telling others about your role in the household, aka SAHM/ homemaker, is to frame the your answer in a joyful way while reminding yourself and the person asking the great purpose of your role. And truly believe your joyful answer. Example would be, “What do you do for a living?” “I get to watch and care for my sweet, sweet little one(s) and curate a home that is God glorifying, safe, warm, and loving for me and my beautiful little family. I do that by taking on the tasks in the home for the household.” I, personally, find it hard for someone to be rude or offensive when you are occupied with your love for your family and praising in God (inwardly and perhaps outwardly) for your station in life.

This was a great first video! Thank you for sharing your story. I went to a Christian college and purposely got a “family safe” degree (teaching). Ever since I was little all I wanted to be was a wife and mother, but felt the pressure to do the whole college thing. 🙄
After graduation, I spent one year teaching kindergarten and ended up meeting my husband on eharmony! He supported my desire to be a homemaker and that’s what I do now with our three kids. I’m so thankful for him and to be a homemaker. ❤

Love this! About to become a mom, and have been married for almost 2 years now. I have always worked and never felt like my energy matched up to the hustle and pressures of the career world. But I still want to bring in income as well. My husband and I agreed that me being at home with our children is the best thing and being at home and taking care of our household has given both my husband and I great joy and matches my energy and personality much better!
