  • In today’s video, I will be doing a Q&A, where I will be answering simple questions such like:
    - What my husband does for a living
    - Whether my aesthetic is inspired by Marilyn Monroe
    - If I grew up traditional
    - How I deal with hate on the Internet
    - And much more!
Thank you so much for all the support you’ve given my channel and I look forward to making more UA-cam-centered videos! Please give me any advice on making UA-cam's because I am new to the format of UA-cam and creating longer videos.

I’m 59 years old, I’ve seen the struggles woman have went through to be heard. Now we have choices, family? Career? or both but the minute you say that your choice is to be a wife and homemaker you are ridiculed, laughed at, got anger directed at you and more, by other Women!! I’m nearly forty years married and many of the women who ridiculed me are divorced. My choice has worked for me and yes when my husband and I go out for coffee I put the sugar and milk in it for him. It’s a little gesture and a loving one. He touches my hand gently every time I do it and I still get a thrill from head to toe. Stick by your choices and don’t let anyone interfere with them because they think they know what’s good for you because they don’t! You do. ❤❤❤

I was able to go epidural free with my third baby at 27! I had a tiny bit of pain management but I wanted a home birth so bad… however our insurance sis did ANYTHING went wrong they wouldn’t cover any after care costs due to my “negligence,” in birthing at home. In my opinion that’s basically taking a free right away from a women… how dare u tell me my care doesn’t matter unless I HAVE to be at a hospital… what’s the point of me even having health insurance if that’s the case. I rarely go to the dr when I’m sick.. only if it’s something serious. While I don’t think there’s anything wrong w modern technology bc it saves mothers and babies lives I wish America had more of a birth system modeling European midwives care etc … women don’t want to birth in a hospital when they could rest in their own bed with their baby after the fact at least for me I would have loved too

Hi from France :) first, I wanted to tell you that I admire you, for standing up for your choices, no matter what. Secondly, I'm definitely not familiar with american trad wives movement and even the "gender" narratives, that some of your commenters brought up. I think that people should live the way they want and never be pressured into fitting a certain role.
And finally, I wanted to share my own experience with you : I chose the carreer path until I had my baby and realized I was missing so many things, like her first word, her first steps and stuffs. After a year and a half, I gathered my courage and quit my job to be a full time mom at home. It lasted until she was old enough to go to school and then, I decided to become a part-timer, to still have free time for my loved ones while supporting them a bit financially. Things are perfect right now and I have the most caring husband who agreed with every single one of my choices. Good luck to you, hope you will get your big big family!!

I know you probably won’t see this, but I just wanted to say you’re so inspiring and such an incredible woman! I started watching your videos a couple months ago. I’m 15 years old and trying to figure some things out. Ever since I was a little girl I’ve always wanted to be a traditional wife, but so many horrible people around me brought me down to this level of thinking that I was less than a man and being a wife was all I was good for. It hurt me, and I went through this deep manipulation for years. I recently became free from all of these negative voices in my life. But, certain parts of traditional marriages scare me. My fear is that I will be thought less of, become oppressed, or be mistreated. Traditional marriages are beautiful and a dream of mine. It’s just hard to have a dream like this when you have a messed up mindset. I keep praying and asking for God to help me, and to heal my unhealthy mindsets. Watching your videos has helped a lot, I realize that a good man would not think of you as less but his equal in marriage 😊. Praying blessings over you and your husband! ❤️ Thank you for posting these amazing videos.

Indian here... Am so warmed to hear and so torn too ! .. yes, we are who we are because of our parents doing what they did. They sacrificed and provided, and I am forever greatful! But, I do wonder how many women's vocation or calling it is to be a housewife.
Not all, but more often than not, women are not entirely happy. They dont have healthy communication from their husbands, and they don't get the dose of love they need.
And more of then than not, things get brushed under carpet and they just live through without bettering anything.
    Its a longer narrative here
I'll stop. But, those who get it it get it.

You’re hope to the new generation, Estee! A generation that is being destroyed by feminism needs more women like you and men like your husband who want to be the provider.
I totally feel you when you said about letting go of society’s norms. It recently happened to me too. I was kind of tied to people’s opinions on needing to go to university, have a successful career, etc., but at each obstacle I felt like giving up because that wasn’t what I really wanted. I’m not married yet, but I’m already a homemaker and waiting on God for a good husband.

Actually real feminism was never what it is now. It’s actually about supporting ALL women choosing whatever THEY want in life whether that’s a traditional wife or a woman who works outside the home. Whatever she chooses is supported by a true feminism.

@@LinorMilan Amen, thank you! I totally agree with you! Feminists only respect women’s choices when they agree with those choices, when they fit their agenda. If they don’t, they put those women down for being who they’re meant to be. I also believe that it can affect some women negatively, like they may feel pressured to do things that they don’t want to and can even get mentally sick because of that pressure. It used to affect me very much in the past, but now I’ve learned to listen to what God wants for me, not people, and I believe that that’s what you’ve done too! We have 8 children of our own and 2 young adopted children, and I have been a stay at home for the whole of our 30 year marriage. It's been lovely to watch them grow up without the pressure of having to work. I'm very appreciative of the fact that I was able to do that, and had a husband that was very supportive in this choice. I don't think you can offer children anything better than a stable home and marriage, with a mum that is happy and not stressed. ❤

Wish you lived in Texas so we could be friends! I'm 25 and about to have my first baby, and I definitely consider myself a traditional wife. I love Marilyn very much and I've never seen anyone who comes that close to her in such a natural way... the combination of fragility and power and style and aura. I wish this movement had been a thing when I was in my 20s. In the 80s & 90s, relationships were routinely treated as trivial and disposable. College was a romantic blur characterized by end of semester break ups. Later, as a military professional it was very difficult to establish any deep commitment and several breakups occured whenever I received orders to new duty stations among other reasons. Most of my relationships were based on fleeting attractions and couldn't withstand even minor challenges. I think that I had a lot to offer and many people have told me that I'd have been a great dad. Yet, here I am pushing into my 60s and retired with no lifelong romantic partner nor any children. I keep myself busy with hobbies, intellectual pursuits, working out, and travel. If not for that stuff, I might go mad from the isolation, loneliness, and regret. It's really all just busy work in order to fill my days while trying to ignore the fact that my presence on this planet is now largely irrelevant and devoid of significance for anyone but me and perhaps the IRS.
Like Estee implies, if you think you'll want a devoted partner and loving family then make that your #1 priority early in life or will be unlikely to happen.

I'm a divorced man with two teenage daughters. I've had discussions with them about determining what their priorities in life are and then focusing their energy toward their priorities. Are they career oriented and don't want a family? Would they like a family? Do they want both? When I bring up the FACT that the window for women having children is relatively short, they roll their eyes due to the programming society is giving them. Women today are programmed to think they can start their families later in life but are disappointed when they can't meet the right person and the wall hits. Absolutely nobody can have it all. Good relationships are like a teeter totter. There are ups and downs but as long as it's balanced, it can keep moving. Even though I feel I got raked over the coals when my ex decided to leave (she hasn't been able to find anyone other than Chads in the last 12 years), I wouldn't have changed anything. My priorities were always family and my job/career was a way to provide for them. I can see my daughters are well adjusted and happy. I spent many hours shuttling my eldest daughter to soccer and we bonded a lot. She was one best goalies in her rep and OPDL league but decided to leave her club after some cub politics and she wanted to focus more in high school. She is starting a biomedical engineering program in the fall and I could not be more proud of her because her program is elite and she needed to maintain a 95 average to get in. The time I've spent with my children have been the happiest in my life.

I grew up homeschooled by mennonite schoolbooks, and we regularly visited a Mennonite farm. Though I wasn't raised in a Mennonite church (I was raised off grid and apostolic Pentecostal, so still very similar), it still had a huge impact on my life, beliefs, and decisions. My sisters, for some reason, were not affected the same way I was, but it had such a strong impact on me, that it's a large part of who I am today.
