I 100% consider myself a homemaker... and yet I work outside the home 4 days per week! However homemaking is my heart and my priority, and when we have little ones I'll be home full time but until then, I'm blessed to bring in an income to help save for our own house ♥
Homemaking is definitely not one size fits all!
I always think that if someone is 'bored at home all day' they're either unimaginative or lazy - there are a thousand and one things we can choose to do!

I think it's a lot of trial & error! Looking up how to's for whatever topic trying out what another does and seeing how it fits your lifestyle. Its also something that is always changing since seasons of life change frequently
