Making beans soft faster especially with the hard water in the UK. I soak them overnight, don't add salt until they are tender, add a sprinkle of bicarbonate soda. Salting them while cooking makes them tough. I'm southern American and had to adjust to the water here.

Thanks for sharing the water filter we don’t drink tap water and I spend so much money per year on bottled water for my family if 4 it has been weighing in my mind for sometime how much bottles we use and I feel so guilty but I learned years ago how bad tap water is so I just can’t drink it.
I’m definitely going to look into this

Ufhh the apples and yogurt! If you don't mind me asking, what did you pour into the apples and how long to bake em for?
A little cinnamon, coconut oil (melted) and raisins. Cooked for about 30 mins x

Hi Tish, I love love watching your recipes, they are inspiring,. I tried to cook butter beans from scratch, as soon as I soaked them within an hour they split and looked gross. Could you please suggest any solutions as I have a whole pack to get through. Thank you!

Hmmm they shouldn’t all split. Maybe a few will. Maybe give it another go with room temp water. If you’re in a hot climate reduce the soaking time. Maybe try another brand of dried beans

No that will not work! soaking is very necessary
