This podcast isn't trash but the Drake glazing is trash and they lost people over Mals behavior.
They're just sitting in dumb shit. Mal kills the pod while being loud and wrong about shit he has no experience in.

You can tell the look on their faces that they want to debate Mal on certain things sometimes but are too afraid to offend him over opposite opinions. The episode where he was crashing out about the conclusion of the beef was to me the only real time they actually had something to disagree about. When it happened he was the loudest person in the room and couldn't handle the fact that Kendrick had huge advantages in this battle and because the rest of the crew had different perspectives on it he was mad. I can't listen to a podcast where everyone has to agree on everything. It's boring and fake. If you don't like debating on topics on a podcast that will only create better content and allows more conversations, then podcasting isn't for you.
Mal wants no debates. He wants to agree and people to agree with him only. If Joe was in these episodes, he would be on the verge of tears.
Demaris, Rory and Julian together would make a better podcast. The crew tip toes around Mal now and he bullies/ disregards their opinions lately. He honestly holds the show back.

I think Rory and Mals pod is good. I like it cos they’re not trying to recreate what they had with JPB. They do their own thing and it’s a nice contrast to the JPB. I think Baby D and Julian are good as too. Even if I don’t agree with a lot of Baby Ds takes, buts she’s definitely a good contributor to the show. I’m planning on going to their live show when they come to London later this year

They never should have stopped their skits, that was building their separate brand from Joe. They need a 3rd animated mic for the pod to match the format of their previous show with Joe.
Rory & Mal aren’t trash at all. They’re like consistent mid, perfect for some to get through the work day. Julian keeps it interesting, he consistently contributes a take. Even if I don’t agree with him at least he’s consistent. Rory & Mal too often sound bored and disengaged lol

As someone who has been listening to New Rory & Mal Pod since the beginning, I dont understand the narrative that the pod is "Trash" angle. Is it the JBP? No. Is the JBP Better? Yes. However Rory and Mal have a nice chemistry with the Demarius and Julian and it makes an entertaining Pod in my eyes. I think unfortunately, they will always be compared to the JBP no matter what. But to me I love the Rory and Mal Pod and think they will be good.
Yo the placement of that Mic Arm, and the switching/ continuity is crazy!..It's definitely outside the box! On the plus side, this is definitely the right direction for what it is you do. (Along with the essays) the analysis with someone else is cool!

They really do have the best female podcaster. Also I love that they actually talk about music when dope artists drop. That’s what I loved about them from the og jbp is that they were the only podcasts that really would get deep into breakdowns about songs and albums. And now to add to that with Julian’s experience working for a label is even better for me personally speaking.

i love the rory and mal pod. i love when Mal starts going off on everybody, cuz before this beef and the over Drake hype 😮💨😮💨. Mal was on a run he was loud and wrong it be sounding like foolishness, but he was definitely on his broken clock cuz he gunna be right at least twice a week lol. then u get Damaris to say something wild and now mal yelling lol. Julien bring up something sus its a fun flow. I love the dad talk from rory then everyone gives him bad advice

I'm not gonna lie, when they broke up I was team Rory and Mal. But I couldn't listen to the Pod because of Mal and Damaris. Mal was the same biased and closed minded person and Damaris was a super left warrior fembot. Anything that a woman did wrong, she shut down the convo. The pod was all about the rainbow, astrology, and every new term or ideology that was created and crammed into society. I went back to Joe. No beef with Rory and Mal, just not for me.

I loved them on the Jbp and I gave them a shot on their own but respectfully their pod is 🗑️🗑️.. I think Rory and Mal forget most of us originally tuned in because Joe fame as a rapper then we learned him and his mans actually have good conversations. I respect Joe stance he’s the driving force behind the brand no matter how you slice it.

naw they started off rough but i think now they are legit in the game. I never thought I would say this, but Mal actually carries a lot when he turn off his cool. All of them gel together pretty well and even though they might now have the biggest audience they have a loyal following. These guys are doing shows and having fun on the road, something I've yet to see Joe do with the new crew. One thing I noticed with Rory and Mal that lacks with the JBP is work ethic. The RAM pod all seems to be on the same page when it comes to how they move while the JBP has workaholic Joe leading the ship while the rest of the crew seems to be burnt out at times. I think outside its just to many pieces moving with the JBP for them to take the show on the road. I also think most podcast including the JBP should just have one tier for Patreon it would make things a lot easier on everyone.

The pod isn’t trash, they’ve just fallen on the “wrong side” of the biggest beef in hip hop, so they are under severe scrutiny. Had they have been championing Kendrick instead of drake they wouldn’t be experiencing any of the hate that they are right now. And there are alot of joevengers who hate them simply because they aren’t aligned with Joe anymore so they go out of their way to discredit them. In real life they clearly have a fanbase considering they are going on another tour, in few months once this beef really subsides and people move on, they won’t be experiencing the hate on this level. It’s just a product of bad timing, before this beef they were doing fine and everyone was chill, now They’re under a microscope cause people are irritated with them, so now everything they do is lame or corny lol
