If you’ve noticed in recent episodes joe keeps bringing up how he’ll never truly know what was said in that “secret meeting” and I think that’s very telling, which is probably why parks Is overcompensating by laughing at all of his jokes and always taking his side. But you can tell Joe doesn’t truly trust any of them except for Corey lol.

Parks is only saying what Joe wants to hear so he doesn’t end up on Joe side because like parks said after the break up on Savon podcast “when Joe feels like he’s being backed into a corner you have no idea how’s he going to react”, that’s what Parks was afraid of. Even during the return episode both Rory and Mal said Joe stop lying to audience because behind close doors you said one thing and now your on camera lying to the audience and placing all the blame on us. That’s when Parks should have been a better mediator but instead he yes-mans Joe and pretend like he wasn’t in the same room with the other guys having this “clear up” conversation. Thats snake behavior when he could have stood his ground and help keep the podcast together. Ian is complicit as well but he Joe manage r so we get why, but it hurts his credibility when you have Rory and Mal that have text messages and other receipts saying disproving the false narrative Ian and Joe try to spin after the break up.

Two things can be true. Park’s can complain about being over worked and still side with Joe. Parks had more value to the pod and was more essential since they filmed in his crib until Joe got his new spot. Parks also was on mic talent and helped edit with audio etc. so Parks had more roles and hats to wear than Rory and Mal who thought they were co owners with Joe, which was never the case. Mal takes no accountability for his lack of production and him and Rory only wanted to share expenses after the foundation was already built, only for them to always be too cool and give us lazy pods.

Yall got to stop with this Rory and Mal lazy “narrative”. When Rory and Mal was on the podcast originally we all liked them as a trio but now all of sudden after the break up we’re “calling them lazy”, because Joe made up the narrative which is just nonsense and we see the evidence doesn’t support Joe narrative.
How would parks have more value on the podcast than Rory and Mal, besides owning the two houses that they filmed in and him being behind the scenes handling the production of the podcast? I would say he he had equal value like Rory and Mal because guess what if these guys were never on the podcast or even as beloved as their were on the podcast, then Joe wouldn’t be getting any Spotify like deals, for him to pay Parks and keep the podcast running with Rory and Mal and the crew. Rory and Mal got the bigger share because they had talent and on screen presence that contributed to the podcast success that why Joe said “they deserved that 40k a month payout”, that sounds like Rory and Mal have more value to me and not just because they were friends.
Parks played a huge part in this success don’t get me wrong because I actually enjoyed parks commentary but to 😮continue downplaying Rory and Mal and their contributions to the podcast is downright disingenuous! They even told Joe and Ian to take away even more of their payout money and give it to Parks and the crew so how are they the bad guys, especially when they take their deserved percentage and leave the rest for the show to pay the crew so everyone is happy. Never did Joe call Rory and Mal greedy, not hardworking and just showing up to collect checks.

Mal and Rory added to the show but the star is Joe and was the sole reason the show existed. Joe worked his ass off to get the show the recognition it did. He did side gigs and television to promote, Mal and Rory sat back in my opinion and let Joe do all the work. So in my opinion Joe did not steal and they were employees who wanted to be bosses but didn’t want to put the work in.

It was Parks, Savon, and Alex who stopped Rory and Mal to have this “secret meeting” and they said to Rory and Mal that felt overworked and underpaid. Rory and Mal said parks was included in this conversation they didn’t lie and just drag parks into the meeting. Parks figured Rory and Mal could speak with Joe since those were his business partners and help make their work situation better. Hence why Rory and Mal said “yoo Joe and Ian we getting more money now, take some of that extra money out of our usually share and give it to Parks, Savon, and Alex so we can keep the crew happy the the podcast going”. So tell me how Parks wasn’t involved now when Rory and Mal wanted to give Parks more money?
