I can buy 2x 6300 for price of 6400 here in Sweden. I think i gonna buy 6300 and few lenses since i mostly shoot video and not shooting sports. That unlimited recording and touch screen would be nice but still i think its not worth twice money just for that!
Hmm. this is still relevant in 2020. Not a great upgrade but an awesome entry. there are these two then the g85 and then the m50. sony lenses are pricey though. The kit lens is well rounded.
Hi. Please tell me, does the 6400 focus better and faster in poor light? I often take photos with a flash when there is little light. And sometimes I don't like how my Sony 6300 does it.

If it's only firmware improvement mostly and not hardware on the A6400, then I wish Sony would release a new firmware update on A6300 or maybe with the A6000 that will make the autofocus performance close enough to the realtime autofocus of the A6400, or make available eye focus on shutter button of A6000. But no, I don't think Sony would do that or they wouldn't be able to sell the new A6400 over the now cheaper A6000 and A6300, LoL!
af for photos is so much better, but for video it gotten worse. dunno how they managed to do that but ok (talking about lowlight).. hope next firmware fixes it.

@@fahimahmed2300 if you have the money then get the 18-135 lens along with it. It's much better than the 16-50 and also much more versatile. Besides, if bought separately the 18-135 is too expensive, with kit is affordable and worthy.
@@zefa3867 wtf does even color science mean? I see no difference when putting both footage next to each other(video and pictures) There's obviously no change in the color science and I heard that the sensor even performs worse than the older models a6300 and a6500(at some points)

I m thinking to make a video and explain why but in few words I mount the Sigma 56mm f1.4 on the 6400 at 500 ISO 60 shutter and to have the same light with the same lens same picture profile same gamma S log 2 the 6300 needs 3000 ISO.

I need to purchase either A6300 or A6400 to take photos with for my sisters engagement party. Would someone suggest I have to buy different lens as well? Well... do not agree 100%, cuz: _6300 vs 6400 - always get the 6400_ 1. record limit (>1h 4K recording with external power) 2. current Sony color science - easy to mix with a7III 3.and ofc AF ... (currently only better AF youll find in the a9) _6400 vs 6500 - always get the 6500_ why? IBIS is not that good in the 6500, average at best. record in 4K and stabilise your footage in post. again also no record limit, no color science etc. Gerald Undone has compared them pretty indepth btw.
