Me: watches this video to justify my purchase
Me 😗
me.. even after a year its stil amazing a bargain at €400
Me too 😂
Did bro just change the caption to 2024 😭🤣
Yes he did
A very scumbag move
I’m buying this camera as my back up camera based on this review, thank you my friend 🎥👌
awesome!
Still rocking my a6300 2020, Shot hundreds of projects with it and I won't be switching anytime soon. Nice video TIG 👊
Thanks, same here! Now it's my 2nd camera 😉
How can you all have the money for all that
Idk why everybody be so quick to switch when a new camera drops. I just rather out that money into lenses and accessories
Any problems with overheating?
Buy an a6000 a year ago. I was thinking change it to get 4k, slow motion... I mostly shoot musics videos. After doing a music video, I decide to keep it. Today am surprised by what I can do with this little old camera. I want to upgrade, cause of slow motion and better low light performance.
Always excited to watch new vids from you! Cheers! For scene such as in 2:02, what aperture do you use and do you use autofocus/manual focus?
Thank you! Today I would recomend manual focus. But that scene was 120fps, f/4 on autofocus 😎 so it's totally possible!
Made the leap to Sony from Canon (for videography) several months ago and never looking back! Picked up the Sony A6300 for a fair price and it never fails to deliver for me! Definately worth the money especially if you can pick up a good quality one second hand :) Love the vid xx
The a6300 was my first investment back in 2018 to start getting into videos and absolutely no regrets! Thanks for the quality review and subbed from Brunei!
It really is! and thanks man!
After doing many home made films with a gopro hero 3+ I decided to buy a big boy and went with the A6300, thanks for helping ease my mind with this purchase!
It's a super nice camera, used it for years and I still grab it today :)
I'm a big fanboy of that bad boy!
can you try to get your hands on the zeiss 24 1.8 and zeiss 16-70mm, and do some sample images and video? I have those 2 lenses but i would love to see how to bring the best out of them. thanks again for the great content, tips, and tricks
thanks! I'll see what I can do :)
is there any difference between the video quality of a6300 and 6500 ? although have a budget issue but can't compromise on quality . Kindly guide
@@manzarbashirfilms Not on video quality but a6400 has HLG which a73 have but a6400 was compared as a9 with apsc crop
Storyteller Imphal ok thank you 😊
Of course it’s worth buying! Companies try to make you feel like you need to upgrade every year. It’s a great deal for the money. Get it!
so true!
Using an a6400 myself I have often felt peer pressure for the need to go full-frame but after seeing what you are doing it really seals the deal that Sony APSC is amazing (and so much more affordable)! Have a great rest of your week. Cheers! - Brett
I agree with you, I often feel like if I want to be pro I need that FF. But truth betold I love my APS-C :)
feel you,,,,, there's a reason though :( I did several low light test videos comparing Sony apsc & full frame===results speak for themselves,,,,BUT using 4k 24fps on Sony's apsc cameras will bring a very good result
Thank you man this video was straight to the point with valuable informations and most importantly your personal opinions in use of the camera and not just reading the specs from a piece of paper !
Subscribed and waiting for more !
Loved your honesty and review, buying mine soon 👌🏼
Literally picked up the a6400 yesterday! Happy to be part of the Sony fam!
happy to have you onboard!
Dude I discoverd your channel 2 days ago and I really love your conent and the personality that you seem to have! Happy to subscribe to your channel!
I love this camera too. I got it first in 2017 to shoot my travel videos with it did some client work with it without any problem. Compact and powerful, it is great for videos.
Only minus is no IBIS. But I agree it is a great entry level camera for videos still worth buying in 2020.
Love your videos! Keep it up! :)
Thanks! Yea there is no ibis - but tbh that's never bothered me! :) And yes, it's a cheap entry level camera that packs nice specs!
had to smash that like button for my icelandic guy.
Great value for its money .Very good autofocus ,night performance ,descent dynamic range ,slog -2 and 3 -slow motion 120 fps I am very pleased with this camera
I’m Finnish photographer in Florida! So good to follow a guy from Iceland!! :-)
Hey, I was really confused as I being a new content creator (cooking channel) on what could be a budget camera where I can get 120fps in 1080p. And your video solves the problem for shooting my cooking videos in Slow Motion. Thanks a lot and keep making more informative content on how to shoot videos. You got a new subscriber. All the best!
The best thing about this creator is how he made someone laugh, cheers bro! You made me laugh thu
Good info - as usual - for people new to the game! Keep it up man.
Thank you!
I have 2 FF Sony camera's and still have the A6300.What I love about it is the Sony Playmemories app which is gold. I use it for B Roll, Timelapse, Safety Camera (Unlimited Recording), Focus Stacking. I tried the A6600 and even though the battery and AF improvements are great. I still think the A6300 is still a good workhorse.
thank you so much! this is so useful x
My a6500 is on its 3rd year and after many projects, it remains my fave small camera.
Agree!
Nice vid man, really enjoyed it. Your vid was the final push I needed to persuade me to buy the camera (which I haven't yet but I will!), thanks to you!
Thanks for watching! :) You'll like the camera for sure!
Great video mate! Made my decision for me, found a great second hand deal on this and gonna pounce on it!
😍 my future camera, thanks!!
Excellent friend! I have 2 a6300 I film events, weddings, vlogs, whatever appears, and they are firm and strong, in a country with a shaky economy like mine (Brazil) these Sony cameras are special and very adored. I love my bad boys. Greetings from Brazil. Att. Roberto
Thanks for the comment! Sony fam here!
Thanks for the info. Short and sweet!
Thanks for watching!
I love your accent and the way you present. Subscribed 😉
thanks! :)
Loved your honesty and review .... TQ
thank you so much for the information. Really good video brother. 👍🏻
love this video! u r very enthusiastic and i love it!
Thank you for this video. I’ve just been given an a6300. It’s my first camera (i always shoot with iphone 12pro max) and This is really good advice!
It's a great camera with the exception of the battery life and the overheating. The 60 and 120 modes are also pretty soft, but that's true on all of the A6xxx cameras.
Battery life is lala, but I own like 10+ batteries so it's np and they are cheap (the 3rd party ones). Overheating is a little problem in 4k only but I come from Iceland and film here so I don't experience it to much I have to admit lol.
that battery was always a headache, I went fullframe recently but kept a6600 crop for vlogging, so all Z batteries now
@@thaticelandicguy May you link some of the 3rd party batteries you use, please? :)
Still rocking with mine!
awesome little camera ❤
A very honest review and I like your sense of humour. I’m going to buy one. Brrrrrrr!
So good! thanks for this video... plus your sure enjoyable to watch!
I have a Sony a7iii I just bought a used a6300+kit lens, with under 7000 shutter for 450€. The a6300 is great for Street photography, very compact with great features, also it extends my ff lenses 1.5x, great alternative to a similarly priced teleconverter, if you don't mind the crop sensor.
Awesome video and very well explained as usual !!! Loving your videos man I’m deciding whether to get the A6300 or the A7ii
The big question APS-C or FF !!! I can't answer that for you, but I love the a6300 :)
Still planning to buy one! Thanks for the information ☺️
you'll love it!
THAT ICELANDIC GUY. I know I’m going to love it!
Thnk you!! Motivated to start using this beauty
My only complaint with the 6300 is wishing Sony would update the eye AF, it’s not as reliable as the newer cameras.
Bought mine last year and omg i’m loving it so much. Pro tip guys : buy a used one from ebay you can find a good one for about 440-550$ !
YUBB!! so much agree with you
I love this guy! Very cool dude. Subed right away.
Thank you!
Found your channel randomly. Love that sometimes you talk in Icelandic (is your language called Icelandic?)
The A6300 is good quality if you know how to properly use it!
It's good quality period, it has the exact same sensor as the 6400 and 6600.
Thank you! :) And I agree I still use the a6300 all the time - kinda the same as the newer models tbh
It’s a great camera. I love mine. I have an A7r2 also. I grab the a6300 a lot more because it’s so compact and it shoots great photos and video, too. I use the a7r2 mostly for landscape. I Love the a6300.
I've had mine for 4 years and I feel like I'm just scratching the surface!!
I totally agree i still have mine and working well.
Yubb !!
Thanks for the review I am going to go ahead and get one.
I'm planning on buying it!!...wow that helped alot 😍😍
I love this camera so much
same here!
I should message you next time I am in Iceland. You are lucky to live in such a beautiful county. Great video.
Thanks!
thanks for this video!
awesome review
Thank you!
I just bought my A6300 from the look of it. I loved it, but I am a newbie to the photography world. Would you mind suggesting me some training and how to set my camera on specific settings in specific conditions, some tips, and tricks for good quality photos and videos? I would appreciate your help with this.
your video has very useful information for me thanks
Thank you for the video now I'm convinced to save and buy this camera as beginners..
Yea it's superb for beginners, I still grab it even tho I own better cameras :)
Thinking about buying this camera!
Mein german freund just bought one of this on the german ebay for pretty cheap - great and a simple camera :)
Much recommend this yes. Very great camera!
Thanks brotha you're the man!!! The I come to Iceland Im hitting you up!! haha
thank you!
I have had an A6300 since 2017. Never really got on with it for some reason, perhaps I should give it another try, particularly for the vlogs I am just starting out making....
Good info!
thanks!!
I'm watching this video after buying a second hand A6300. Very very happy with that.
I'd still recommend an a6300 to people in 2020 for sure. I mean I shoot on an a6000 that I baught for $200 US and I've pulled off some amazing street photography work with it. I'm most likely going to upgrade to the a6600 in May though so I can have weather sealing, in body stabilization, and then also get the 16-55 f2.8 but that's big money that I'd never recommend the casual or enthusiast photographer to buy personally. I'm just ready to step into the world of more professional work so I'm springing for a bit better body and glass to go along with that. But as for the topic of the video really the a6100, a6300, and even the a6400 are all wonderful options for the beginner or enthusiast photographer and I would definitely recommend any of them.
Amen to that!
i am between a6300 and nikon d7200. What do you suggest?
@@azizzbulut a6300 all day especially if you want to do any kind of video with it as well or down the road. The a6300 is a great choice though especially if you are at the beginning of your journey or just now jumping into mirrorless DSLRs.
Sony a6300 is my new camera already, the quality is crazy.
such a nice camera!
4k 24fps is it's best video quality,,,,I recently saw a clip a thought it was shot with full frame
Great video thanks.
You're welcome!
I like your videos, good tips.
Thankyou! :)
0:35 I had my camera fog up trying to photograph that waterfall :)
did you manage to get a nice shot?
Thanks for the advice. I'm a beginner, will definitely look into the A6300 now :) @4:57 Do you remember which lens you were using, that is some crisp image!
brother i am planning for zoom lens for this camera so which lens is good for this and 85mm is good for this camera on night videography
18 105
@@JanisMarxcors ok brother thank you
Thanks Buddy :)
Can you make also a video on how to clean a sony lens, specially the sony 18-105 f4 lens. Thanks
Can do!
I am going to buy it soon
I've seen it used on ebay for not so much :)
Thank you bro
and brother Please make a video of your lighting setup of your YT videos and also how do you get natural skin tons in your video ?
Yes that I can!
Awesome, thanks I’ll be buying one just from this vid, just subscribed, I’m a beginner and I’ll be getting into some photography for personal use. Which gimbal can I equip with and also what app do you use to put everything into a video? Thanks in advance.
thank god for this video, I almost wasted extra money for nothing by buying the a6400! can't wait to put this beast in action
you'll like it! I mean the a6400 is a great camera, and it is a little upgrade, but tbh it's not a whole lot of an upgrage. I would have loved to see a bigger uppgrade :)
@@thaticelandicguy the 200 dollars price difference is outrageous, maybe I would like it but I think I'll just get the a6300 and use the spare money to invest on good lenses:)
Hello, nice review! For streaming use, would you choose it over the older a5100 sand over the newer a6100? Because the a6300 can be found cheaper than the a6100 since it's older, but quality should be the same
I just bought myself an a6300 because of this video! What would be your lens recommendation to achieve a cinematic style, great depth of field but also wide look? I want a Sigma 16mm 1.4 but it's a touch expensive! Thanks man.
I love it so much, only problems are expensive lens and no flip up screen
yea true lol
well brother I have this camera so I truly love this video
awesome! :)
Smiling guy from Iceland.. nicere
what do you think about the Sony zv-1 compared to the Sony A6300? Particularly the Autofocus and if the A6300 can run through a USB like a webcam and also be powered. Thanks!
Bought the A6000 yearssss ago but having issues with 1 pin stuck down on the body. I use my camera to take photos of birds in my park and that's about it. I got the 210mm kit lens with it but feel like it's time for a refresh. Is it worth buying a better lens (if so which one) or just go for an upgrade body but keep the lens so A6300 or A6500?
Maybe not worth buying, but definitely worth keeping! Still love using mine.
ahhaha yea that too :)
hear you, I had a hard time saying goodbyes to mine,,, made lots of youtube videos with it,,,, a6300 is so good that if some1 doesnt need flippy screen then theres berely any reason to upgrade to a6400
Ahh youre the perfect person to learn from since i want to do photography in iceland when i visit again. Could you tell me if this camera accepts micro four third lens from panasonic/olympus?
Skemmtilegt að rekast á annan íslending á UA-cam :) Keep up the good work maður !
Geggjað!! Velkominn hingað 😎👊
I got my a6300 w/ kit lens and cage for 500CAD and yup worth it. At retail price the a6400 makes more sense for aps-c. Added a sigma 16 1.4 and for my needs, talking head video, for 1080p conferencing it is crushingly good and the other sony aps-c offering aren't any better.
hey, I'm from Canada and I'm looking into getting this camera as well. Where did you get that deal for 500CAD??
@@TheMinecraftDJStudio kijiji was good to me.
@@robertfontaine3650 thank you I’ll look into buying used cameras then instead
@@TheMinecraftDJStudio Yup. The Sigma 16 1.4 lens I just purchased cost more than my camera and the kit lens. For my purposes, talking head video, 1080p, this is a very hard combination to beat at any price. I need to improve my lighting and background at this point.
Bro ur accent is sick👌
Would you recommend sony a6300 for wedding videography/photography?
I'm a beginner Wedding Photographer and Ceremony Photographer. I haved a Nikod D5000. It-s too old. I want to switch to the Sony! I have a medium budget! Sony A7 or Sony 6300.What do you offer, with what lens? Sony 18-105 F4 is goof for weddings and portraits too?
How have you recorded all your videos? I heard this camera over heats after 20min. Do you film for 20, stop filming then wait and then film later? That would be a pain to do if filming UA-cam videos.
Hi I want to start with photography and I'm really thinking about buying this Camera thanks to your Video :) ! But I have One question: What kind of cable do you need for this camera?
beginners should either get a new a6100 or a second hand a6300 but if you're in a budget for a brand new a6300, might as well add a few bucks and get an a6400. a6100 a6400 both have flip up screens and unlimited 4k recording with improved heat management. a6400 also has picture profiles which are not available in a6100 so that is one thing to consider. really the only difference with the a6300 and a6400 is that again, a6400 has better battery life, unlimited recording (a6300 has a 30min limit), flip up screen and faster autofocus (arguably the best autofocus . ) and a new processor that manages heat a lot better
Hey I’ve been wondering should I get the Sony a7 or the Sony a6300? my budget is 500 and under
its worth it in my honest opinion. I've owned it for 3 years till it finally had some shutter stuck issue and I layed it to rest lol.(rip tho) Ive got work on my channel anyones wanting to see footage paired with a Sigma 18-35mm
would you recommend this or the a6100 because it has the touch screen and autofocus, but I also want the higher resolution viewfinder and higher quality body
Well in 2020 I'm still using a5000 and i still like it for my photography shots. But I think i would upgrade to a6300 since i had my a5000 since 2016.
