I'm convinced that no matter where Greg goes, it's going to be beautiful. Cool little town, it's nice to see it turned into a museum. Thanks for another awesome vid 💚
That mining town was so cool to see. That someone took the time to preserve history & not just rip it apart one board at a time. For an entire village. I can almost imagine those who lived there back then. How they dresses & carried themselves. How they lived & prepared, preserved their foods. Thanks for taking us along & sharing.
Congratulations you have been selected among our shortlisted winners from our previous giveaway, contact the number above.................................✔️
So cool to see this place again, I visited Barkerville a little over a decade ago when I was quite young and the memories it imprinted on me are so amazing. You can’t trade that for anything in the world. Thanks for helping me experience a bit of my childhood again Greg. Love your videos
Been watching you for a few years Greg. Appreciate the effort to put out this awesome stuff and show people what is out there. I grew up hunting and fishing the Hardwoods of KY, spent the last 25 years out west exploring the deserts and mountains of CA, NV. UT, CO, OR, WA and even lived in Idaho for a while.....Now semi retired in Florida enjoying the Salty life......Few understand the necessity for natural surroundings and adventure to lift the human spirit and experience God's green earth. I am planing a 60 day trip to Alaska in an RV with my wife and dogs in 2024. Keep up the great videos and influence the next generation of explorers and adventurers!
Throughout the 80s I would travel from Florida to North Carolina and Tennessee to venture into the mountains, white water, hike and camp and more. Your videos have struck that nerve and Im itching to get back up that way. In my half Century of life I have watched the population grow and begin cutting into many of those areas that I once believed would remain. I question my own ability to get into those adventures I once enjoyed so much. Your content is very inspiring. The videography is stunning and locations just breathtaking. I respect your love of History and interest into things from the past. Especially the many inventions and tools once designed to conquer the hardships and works of so long ago. I am so pleased to have found your channel. I really hope to get out and into some sort of wilderness. Would absolutely love to meet you and spend some time learning from you in person. I have already learned so much. God Bless my friend. Be safe and take care. Love Finn as well.
Greg I'm a long time subscriber from the uk and I love the videos, hope to get over your side of the pond 1 day, keep up the videos and real entertainment..
thank you Greg, for existing, you helped me get out from my comfort zone, my biggest wish now is to visit Canada, Rocky mountains it is like dreamland for me. Thank you again Greg and never stop! Big love from Slovenia!
Absolutely fantastic to be able to follow you. down to earth honest and you are yourself all the time. too many people change their channels when they become known here on UA-cam. but you are who you are all the time. fantastic. so I thank you for what you share. I wish you a nice midsummer from here in Sweden 🇸🇪🌻🌼☀️
Greg is so lucky, living in one of the most beautiful parts of the world and living the life he does, what a legend. Glad he took the time to create the channel and let us into his world. I'M SO JEALOUS!!
I was an extra in a movie called "Klondike fever"(1980) with Rod Steiger and Angie Dickinson, filmed in Barkerville, so interesting to see that place again - it was not as restored at that time;-). I was an exchange student from Denmark, living in Wells at that time. Love your video´s, mate
What amazing countryside!! Lots of wildlife and wild plants !!! That town was awesome! Those guns were really cool to see ! I hope you are able to get to that claim and see if you would like it . Great video as always Greg! Take care and stay safe my friend!!

Visited Barkerville back in 1974 when my folks lived in Wells for a short time and glad to see that it's been historically preserved! Great stuff and great history there too.
A small holding growing your own food and finding gold for trade! Go for it Greg! It is definitely time to double down on food and water preps guys! Happy to offer help and advice if needed👍

Hello Greg! Years ago, I, my son, a friend and her nephew, stopped at a place n Colorado and panned for gold, found gold flakes, garnet and Oliveine. We spent a few hours panning, I enjoy doing things like that, though it was nothing new to me, but apparently a guy that worked there found me fascinating/amusing to watch, he came up to me towards the end and said “ I have been watching u, I watched u go from light brown to dark golden brown, everyone else burns” of course this was not new to me, I never got a sun burn (now n my older years, that’s a different story Lol) but I’m happy that he found it fascinating. I love watching ur videos, not only do I learn things from u, I so much love the scenery around u! I would have enjoyed that town, it definitely would have taken my imagination back to those days! And the bears, wow, so many n such a short time, I’ve only seen them TV or UA-cam, never has I seen them eat foliage till ur video! Thank u for sharing this trip!
Another great vlog, really enjoyed seeing some of the history and the wildlife. Look forward to all your posts, thanks for taking me on trips I would not see otherwise 👍👏👏👏

Howdy Greg! Well I’m currently watching the current season of alone and..sweet! I’ve just seen a commercial for a new season of Alone “the frozen” or something like that with you as one of the 6 contestants. Awesome I can’t wait for that! Love the videos!
Beautiful part of the world Greg and we all appreciate your videos so please keep the channel going. When funds allow, I hope to visit your neck of the woods. It's one of the very few places I would love to visit. All the best to you and yours and of course, Finn. Cracking dog and a natural entertainer :-) Good luck mate from GB.
Greg just saw your commercial for Alone: Frozen on August 11th, I'm so excited for this, I'm praying hypothermia doesn't get you again, you got this! Of course you already know how you did but so excited for this show because you're a beast!!!
Wow thank you Greg for this really cool video!!!! Being from Québec i cant see all those amazing places you go to. So thank you again for all the tips and tricks and for sharring this great video. keep up the great work and have a great day.👍👍👍
Thank you Greg for reminding me of Barkerville, I was taken there a couple times as a kid under 10 years, but I can tell I definitely didn't appreciate it as I would now. I think I'll make a stop there when heading up north, 20 odd years later now, to see it again.
Congratulations you have been selected among our shortlisted winners from our previous giveaway, contact the number above...............................✔️
That's awesome Greg! To bad you didn't get in to check out the claim. I'm originally from Quesnel just south of Barkerville. We actually had a 4 cell placer claim on the Cottonwood River kind of in between Quesnel and Barkerville that we worked for a couple seasons. Didn't get rich but we definitely got gold. :) Really hope you get back there and actually are able to buy a claim. Great video my friend!

Amazing video, I loved seeing the brewery full of original glass jars and bottles. I dig and collect glassware and stoneware from the 1800's, so that made my eyes light up! 🤣 There's lots of old mines and remnants of mining towns where I'm from too. Most of them are coal and tin mines, but there's gold in these valleys too. And sadly a lot of them are left in ruins, not made a heritage site 😕 Thank you Greg for this video, it's as close as you can get to time travel.
What a great old town. I have seen two such towns. TomeStone and another in Fallbrook, CA. Both were famous towns. I worked at a sawmill built circa 1900. Love these old buildings and places. Man, what a hard rough life they lived.
I'm super interested in you branching off into gold prospecting. Good luck Greg you I hope you find a huge nugget.
Gigantic nugget :)

I don’t know what it is about these videos but ya can’t stop once you start watching them and they’re relaxing as hell.
I'm convinced that no matter where Greg goes, it's going to be beautiful. Cool little town, it's nice to see it turned into a museum. Thanks for another awesome vid 💚
Hello, that was very interesting! Loved all the old machinery and buildings, fantastic! And the bears, wow!!
Love your content Sir. I live in Wyoming in a 1870 log cabin. So this particular vid is close to my heart/history. Thankyou!

Damn cool man..! Really love to see old school mechanical things. Pretty ingenious..!
Thank you Greg!
Amazing video. I really enjoyed the tour of the old town. The first rifle appears to be an old Winchester 1866 probably chambered in 44 rimfire.
Thanks!
Awesome stuff Greg. Lots of bears in the valleys right now, saw 2 grizzlies on the side of the road today here in K country.
