I think this may be the most wholesome outdoor film I have ever watched. Its hard to narrow down a favourite moment but seeing Griz catching fish on the river bank with Fraser Jade on his chest was a top notch dad moment! Congratulations to everyone involved in putting this together!
Appreciate you saying that! Griz and Scotti are definitely top notch wilderness parents!
Agreed, this was a great one
For me too. Just great!! Best regards from Germany!!💪💪
Minus the fact that he’s exploiting the outdoors for clicks and likes … always a little pathetic to see
Just the opposite actually! Griz was fully living this lifestyle before we asked him if we could tag along on his adventures and make a film with him. Our hope is to inspire more people to get out and explore their own local wilderness and see what it has to offer them!
Honestly the best part of this movie is just the way you and the family get out and enjoy the outdoors together! Nothing more special then bringing your young ones along and teaching them the ways of the outdoors!
It was a pleasure to watch this man and his family do what they do. I will be a first time father this October and to see this film puts things into perespectiv, and, what is important in your life. Thank you.
Got chills during the Elk call scene. So visceral.
Fantastic work team 👊
Thanks dude! That's a big fav for us too!
My favourite part was the BOBBER DOWN!! And my second favourite part was me sounding out of breath as I walk to the fishing hole pregnant lol 😂
You are goin to be the best mother, you are such an inspirationto me and my fiance and our lives and letting us get a glimpse of how you guys parent and live. My dream is to work hard enough for me and her to move somewhere nice, live off the land and teach my future children the values of living off of God’s land. You are your husband are such an inspiration ❤
This is the best outdoor film I’ve ever seen. I’m a new dad and thoughts of providing have me relating to this video in a deep way
I also got this urge after becoming a father.
Its like a call hehe
Wow!!!! Nic! A proud mom moment watching your film and seeing the fruits of your labor of love! Favorite moment for me was seeing your smiling face behind the camera in the film credits! Amazing film and amazing group of people who came together to make this film happen! Congrats🎉
Another great one from Fargone. This guy gets it, protection of the environment, foraging, finishing, instilling a passion for nature in his kid and filling the freezer. Personally, I think my favourite part was harvesting the two elk, especially cause it was his buddies first. That is a memory that will last a life time and its awesome when you get to share it with someone.
Exactly, seing the joy in the eyes of the people you’re with is the best feeling ever
Bringing your baby girl out into the wild and introducing her to your world and normal. So humble and pure. Also the double elk was truly incredible!
The best moment is when you see father and daughter together outdoors at the end of this wonderful film! My father had a backpack for myself when I was a baby. He said I slept as he worked. Serenity!
Favourite part is the joy you have in sharing the hunts, fishing, and your knowledge and passion with your wife, your kid, your friends, we need to keep living this way and sharing these experiences together!
Excellent!
I'm impressed of all the positive comments, couldn't find a negative.
A wholesome display of passion for the outdoors in different aspects. Love seeing Justin and Scotti bringing Fraser along for all the adventures. It’s the same way I was raised and love seeing other couples doing the same.
Favourite part had to be the double Elk. Unreal! Also, I love how the film shows how a regular Joe who also works a job in town, can get out there and provide for his family long term.
It's really hard to pick a favorite part of this film. As an avid fly fisherman (guide) myself and hunter (world wide) I like how you showed how p
the whole family can get outdoors all year round and experience nature and make lifelong lasting memories. And put the best kind of food on your table for your family. Gotta love that Elk hunt.
What an amazing film. The Fargone boys are unbelievable what they can capture behind the camera. My favourite scene was the first bugle back from an elk. Brings me right back to that moment. Well done Nic and Nolan. Unforgettable trip with you boys!
My new favourite outdoor film by far! Love the wholesome family moments and your core values you share through the land as well as your passion and hard work for sustainable living. My partner Scott and I are expecting our first kiddo any day now and my favourite part was watching you guys share your core values with Fraser and immersing her in your lifestyle right from the get go. We are very excited to get out with our little peanut this spring and start the adventures as a family of 3 and share our sustainable lifestyle with our kiddo and teach them so many valuable life lessons through nature like you guys have. Amazing work guys!!
Thanks for saying that! All the best with your growing family!
I think my favorite part was seeing Griz catch all of those beautiful trout! It is hard to have a favorite part because it was all so good! Thank you for making my day!
It has been a while since I have seen a video this wonderful. It was wholesome without cursing or childish behavior. You just did what was necessary to feed your family. And you have a wonderful family. Thankyou for taking us on this journey.
Best part, hands down, was the scene that started at 18:38 with a tailgate diaper change just before you took him fishing. As a dad I have countless tailgate diaper changes while exploring out with my family and I've come to learn that the most memorable family memories are those spent outdoors. Keep it up. This film is inspiring and you've clearly dedicated time, energy, and resources into mastering all the small little skills that add up to being able to provide for your family.
This video has been saved straight to favourites. One of the very best UA-cam contributions I've seen in such a long time. I love how they live and I love how they parent - no doubt they are doing life the best way for themselves, each other and their child. Admiration and respect for them.
Such a great film! My favourite moment was watching scotti & Grizz discuss what parenting could look like just before Fraser was born while they’re out fishing! She’s a rock star. Very inspiring!
This was flat out incredible! Thank you for allowing us to get a glimpse into your world. I am nothing short of envious of the lifestyle you are living, from your access to beautiful land and animals, to the passions you clearly share with your life partner, to the wonderful grounded and healthy environment you are going to raise your child in. You sir are doing things the right way. I truly loved every minute of this film.
Great film! Grizz and Scotti's passion for the outdoors and positive outlook will surely pass on to their daughter. My favorite moment was the elk double!
Appreciate that you showed everything from the stalk and harvest to the processing - too many films skim over dealing with a downed animal. Thanks.
My favorite moment is discussing bringing your kids into it. I raised my kids that way and now working on my 2 grandchildren. It never gets old seeing a new spark in a young eye.
My favorite part was seeing the transition of just you and your wife to adding in your sweet baby girl. Such a blessing to be able to provide for your family and know exactly where your food came from! Keep up the good work brother.
Guys, this was incredible! Everything about it was just so wholesome, and Grizz and the family seemed so grateful for everything. I'd have to say my favourite scene was when the camera was under the river, then came up to show Grizz and the dog fishing.
OMG... You guys live life according to a set of values that really resonates profoundly to me. Those rivers, woods, flora, animals, fishes, the smiles on your faces and the tranquility of it all give me trust in humanity and that it is possible to make a living in the wilderness.
Favorite moment is absolutely when you find/stumble over that first buck you shot! That was emotional - eyewatering. Nothing is worse than hurting an animal like that and knowing it is out there somewhere hurting, struggling and dying on its own. Thank you for sharing!
What a fantastic way of life you lead with your family. Providing for them must be very satisfying. Having a wife prepared to live where you live and do what you do must be fantastic too. Bringing up your daughter this way is extraordinary. I envy you.
The double elk day was pretty special, but I think fishing with a baby carrier on your chest is the real highlight for me. Griz and Scottie are doing it right.
so incredibly proud of you all!! amazing to see this project come to life. love scotti and griz’s knowledge and passion, it’s contagious!
A lot of wisdom and inspiration for all walks of life. The Jade Family represent a heritage of outdoor living but also the future of life with the land. Great job showing all of this, Top Notch!!!
Find myself wanting to try Old Milwaukee again. Been a few decades since my beer budget was that low....... 👊🏼👍🏼🤙🏼
That was a great film. Everything was good, but I really enjoyed him hunting with his friend for elk. Calling and stalking the elk was excellent and being lucky enough for both of them getting an elk was great. Loved it.
Great Film! love the content and the perspective of this outdoorsman .Favorite moment is the family fishing together, those are the memories you will cherish forever
Fantastic Film. Glued to the screen every minute of it. Resonating, nodding along and feeling the truth of these wild persuits
My favorite part of this is showing the aspect out it is about your family. Not just your biological family but any person you hunt or fish with they become your family. I’m also a sucker for open flame cooking so those scenes got me motivated for camping & fishing season!
The smoothest vid to the day
Awesome story! Favorite moment has to be the double up elk hunting. Must have been a wild day. The stoke when they find the second says it all.
That was an awesome video! Best part for me was seeing how caring and ethical both him and his wife are and that they want to pass that down to their kids.
This was such a fun watch. Made me want to get out and hike as soon as possible. The moment when Griz and Scotti are talking about childhood and family while fishing at sunset hit me right in the heart. Something about celebrating blazing a new trail in life with wonder by getting into the wilderness - that's what it's all about! Already looking forward to the next film from you guys.
I’m from northern bc . I have two huge freezers ..one for fish , one for elk , moose , deer and chickens 😂. We are blessed to live in bc . I haven’t bought red meat in 8 years and there is nothing better than listening to bugling bulls in our grocery store …the woods . Great video
I have never watched such an amazing hunting film..well done producing such an inspirational film.
I really don’t understand how you guys don’t have over 1M subscribers - the content you guys are putting out is crazy!
To je zato jer globalno drustvo forsira bolesno veganstvo i slicna sranja, ljudi su udaljeni od svojih praiskonskih vestina lova i ribolova, sada je moderno imati elektro bicikl, auto na baterije i pasti travke...
this is their first video i watched… amazing quality, editing and overall message. they deserve more for sure
The algorithms won't promote people living free off the land. No profit for the globalist agenda.
Mindblowing right!? 😮
You know I think a lot have people have commented about it but I really related at the beginning when you had you the wife and kiddo on the ice and you were talking about how you want her to have the same love and drive to be outside and do those things as well. I am a few short months away from having my first kid and I have been so excited to do the same with him. I want him to have the love for the outdoors and respect for the animals and I want him to want to harvest animals and live off the land. The outdoors is my happy place and I hope that it will be his as well, my dad has been one of my best friends and I hope that it will be the same for my little guy when he gets here. Phenomenal film!
This is a spectacular film. Obvious Justin and Scotti were raised right, and so glad to see you pass it on to lil' Fraser.
Bravo!
Man after my own heart. Nothing better than providing for the family and raising the next generation to appreciate God’s gift to us. Great cinematography, thoroughly enjoyed watching your video. God bless….
This film was awesome. It has reinvigorated my outlook on BC living and it’s outdoors. Well done!! The “Wooo!” echo in the dead silence after the Elk was put down in region 7 was great, it captured the serenity of the wild, away from urban chaos.
It's such a great film. This is what it's all about! Family, traditions, outdoors, nature and memories! My favorite parts are well..... the entire show, but the elk hunting is great!
My favorite moment was when you caught the rainbow trout at the beginning of the film resembling a start of an exciting journey!
This was a great film from start to finish! I especially love the family values that are bestowed here! Congrats to all those involved in making this film!
Great movie! Love their ideas of raising their kids in the environment they love to be in, and the thrill of being on the tail of an elk and getting that shot. Just great work.
Best part? Two-bull day. The looks on their faces were priceless as they celebrated their success of the hunt. It being Hayden's first elk makes it all the better. Overall, quite an enjoyable film about the bounties of the land and how it provides for Griz's family.
Well produced film. Im older now and this film brings back so many of my best memories of my love for hunting, fishing and the outdoors and actually sparks me the get up and get out there to enjoy even more adventures of the great outdoors. Being a family focused film is the overall best part of this Super inspiring film!
Favorite part! That underwater footage of that beautiful Chinock 😍! And anything Scottie 😍 ❤🎉 💃
That’s one of my favourites too
My favorite part was seeing it all come together at the dinner table with the family. Well done.....this is how we are suppose to live our lives.
Reg 2 Blacktail! So elusive in these jungles! Awesome film!
Best part is hearing the screaming elk. We were hunting elk in the same area as the guys here the week after and had a similar experience. Brings back some amazing memories. Sends shivers down the spine hearing elk go off in the woods.
Bigtime favorite moment for us as well! Nothing like that sound in person!
This is one of the best outdoor films I've ever seen. So cool to see the various harvests from different areas of the province. Made me want to get out and explore more of them. Favorite scene has to be stumbling upon the second downed elk!
I'm at a loss for words! What an incredible life. I absolutely enjoyed watching this film!! My favorite was the entire film. Again, absolutely amazing!!!
Loving the proud outdoor family. We need more of that in todays world.
The best part of the film is watching them take care of two bulls down. Fantastic!
Loved how real and relaxed Griz was in front of the camera. Really inspires me to get out in our yard and take more advantage of it. Also really love how they make this part of their every day life. 😊
Now that's a film that should be shown at all hunter safety courses! Very informative on how hunting and fishing and all is very important to show young people that you can live on harvesting animals and fish. And just enjoying the outdoors. Great movie!
Loved seeing the whole fam jam out in nature catching fish together! So sweet! ❤
Tip from Sweden. Cook the chanterells dry then freeze. Take them out whenever you want and Cook them in some butter. Not as good as fresh ones but worth it if you dont want to dry them
His energy and passion for his lifestyle is infectious nice job 👏
Great film! I love seeing the whole family enjoying the outdoors. One of my fav moments is the double elk harvest.
Oh my favorite part is seeing you harvesting both bull at pretty much the same spot, what time, impossible memories to forgot and to share that with a buddy !! Congrats !! Such a beautiful movie and life, I harvest a big part of my life but only move to bc 10 years ago and learning every day.
I would have to say my favourite part was the last few frames of the Fargone boys. You can see the joy in their faces doing what they love. I feel so lucky to have spent the last year capturing some awesome moments with them.
Otherwise that’s sick bobber down, riding the ripple of the water.
Right back atchya buddy! what a wild ride!! The bobber downs were peak! 👌
Awesome film. What it’s all about; family, memories, the outdoors. Clean living. Raising a family to enjoy the outdoors.
This is AWESOME! I have been in France for studying for a year now but am a native of the western farmland of Iceland, flying back home on friday, getting picked up at the airport at 2pm, will leave for fishing Sea trout (hopefully some salmon if Im really lucky) at 6pm, gotta get back into nature. Cant wait to be able to share that with my future kids like you do, awesome watching. And congrats on the kid!
nice seeing the whole family out enjoying nature, years ago I was posted out in western Canada and I enjoyed watching and listening for the elk to call back. Good stuff.
this was a great film; I loved watching you show how much food we can harvest from nature ourselves. I have to admit my favourite part was the family all going fishing together .. that was awesome!
My favourite part is seeing this inspirational young family figuring a way to keep doing what they love and live the lifestyle as their family grows and life becomes less predictable.
The return bugles! That was unreal! Also love all the river shots. This is a great film and has me itching to get out there. Well done everyone.
Wow!!
One of the coolest outdoor videos I've seen, hands down.
Very well done oh boy, way to go on teaching the young one how to live and have fun doing it.
By far one of the best films to show exactly what we strive for in the outdoors. Great film.
Great Work. Blanket favorite moments are the ones that drive home the importance of raising children in the outdoors. "Its easier to raise strong children than it is to repair broken men/women" Keep up the good work Fellas👍
You guys totally rock! Im so glad that there are people in this world who are humble and appreciative of the world that surrounds you! I live in the country and totally live off what god gives me in the wild as much as time allows me, including my two cane corso's. Including your child is totally awesome! I did that with my son, and it's totality a jump start in life for the kids at every angle imaginable. My son adapts and overcomes every crazy weather change and he is a outside person. It's about being disciplined at every corner of life wherever your at! Good luck! I appreciate your content i truly believe people need to see life as it comes.
I am stunned. These guys are living an absolute dream of mine. Can't wait to get my thesis done and get studying for my hunting license when I see this.
Wishing you all the best for your young family!
What a film! My favorite shots were the elk calling, but my favorite part is just feeling the happiness that they have for doing what they love!
The fall elk hunt chapter was excellent, amazing scenery! Watching the northern lights was my favorite part though.
Love this film. Double bagging the elk with a buddy first elk was tops. Love so many parts, especially the family time. Great work !
It’s beautiful to find such high production quality outdoor content from right here in Canada, I can’t wait to dig into some more! I loved seeing the pursuit, harvest, and packout of TWO beauty elk. This film makes me think I should be looking for a cabin in B.C… and that I really need to step up my fishing game…
Fucking great watch
Fucking agree!
Love all the glassing shots!!! Another great piece from you guys, can't be topped! The emphasis you guys put on the pursuit is what sets you apart and above the rest, keep it up!
This is unreal, can't wait to see more from you guys! What a great story!
My favorite moment was when you could see the joy in his eyes when he was explaining how he’s getting to involve his family in the process of filling his freezer
One of the best videos out there…literally captured the best of BC and what it has to offer. Amazing Job! My favourite part is just how passionate you and your family are about the outdoors..truly inspiring. Lately I feel like I live to work and this video has changed my outlook and makes me excited to work to live, and spend more time doing what I love in the outdoors.
This is one of the most beautiful videos I have ever watched. Kudos!
This was an awesome film! You are really living the dream. I have fished my whole life but now I am getting into hunting since I am nearing the end of my hockey career. I am excited to share the same experiences with my family one day. My favourite part was when Griz brought the family down to the river to go fishing. My wife and I looked at each other when we watched this and just smiled :)
Glad you liked it! Definitely worth getting into hunting! That's a favorite moment for us as well!!
Awesome film. Loved the opening sequence showing what BC has to offer outdoor enthusiasts.
Oh my! Loved the whole movie. The double bull elk was insane! That will fill some freezers! Really liked the opener too and taking the little one ice fishing. That’s my family to a t there! Thanks for sharing this
Favourite moment is night 3 when you guys are cooking over the fire while having beers. Brings back summer memories when the lads and I would this
Great film and love that it was in Canada! I’m excited to watch more from Fargone! Hard to pick a favourite part … loved how they are getting Fraser out with them at such a young age and also how excited he was to help his buddy get his first elk! Hope to one day be able to hunt and fish in BC.
Epic film! Great job Fargone! What an inspiring story. I’d say the duck hunting had to be my fave part.
Loved pretty much all of this! Well done on basically everything IMHO! Love seeing a family hunting/fishing/foraging! Seeing Scotti go from 3 weeks prior to birth fishing to holding a baby as you 2 cross a stream to fish with your Nearly 2month old is a beautiful thing as was the parting clip of you Catching/releasing one while holding the little one is just awesome! I would be remiss not to mention the 2 bull day with one being a first time Elk and then he just walks up on your elk as your packing out his!!!! Yeah Pretty epic and VERY well produced! Thanks for sharing!
Enjoyed the film. Well portrayed. Yall get after it!!! Ducks cupped up into the set edges out the Elk bugles in this film for me! Nice work.
It is probably the most beautiful film I’ve seen about outdoors. I really think it’s all a man need, a beautiful family to take care of and the wilderness.
Amazing work
