- Chinese Fried Doughnuts is a recipe where traditionally the bread that stuffed with cooked glutinous rice are deep fried to crisp. A very popular snack in Malaysia. The doughnut are crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. This recipe are very easy to make, because not much of kneading needed for the dough and takes only few simple ingredients. Filling ingredients:
200g glutinous rice, soaked
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt, adjust to your taste
1/2 cup water, to add into glutinous rice for steaming
Dough ingredients:
300g flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp instant yeast
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
200g-250g water, approximately
1 tbsp oil
