  • In this video, Louise demonstrates 12 different quick and easy mark-making techniques.
The techniques demonstrated were developed specifically for painting large amounts of paper for a sea and sky handmade journal. And so are suitable for large papers and for the speedy production of many different papers for a beautifully handcrafted journal. There will be the full demo of the completed journal presented in a video but there is also the small sketch sea and sky journal already uploaded, this is the link to that demo;-
The demo gives you the permission to paint with whatever you have to hand and Louise uses kitchen equipment, glasses, a silicone basting brush and nylon vegetable netting. Really it is up to your own imagination to think of things that you can use to apply colour to a surface in whatever way you see fit, ENJOY.
