    I am so joyfully relieved to know there are other people out there that save stuff like cardboard, bottle caps and other little toys and things to use for patterns and textures!!!! Thank you for sharing all this.

    Hey Kady, thank you very much for showing those inexpensive ways to make that great markings!!! It helps me a lot, because I don't have the money to buy anything "special supplies" and I think, I'm not alone!! Please go further this way of making great art in inexpensive ways - it could be helpful for a lot of people maybe!
    I'm very interested in making some spray inks but please also cheap resp. inexpensive....

      Barbara Ihlefeldt yes I agree a lot of people don’t have the money to buy all the fancy supplies. In all my videos I stress using what you have. In my Technique tag series I show how to get certain effects using a variety of materials so people know they don’t need to buy it all. In my craft hack playlist you will find how I made sprays with Wilton cake decorating gel as well as many other craft hacks that will save you money. Happy creating. Karen

    The bottoms of children's rubber-soled footwear has neat patterns as do adult sneakers and flip flops!!

      We have mommy markets in PA and can get very gently used shoes for a quarter! The tiny shoes, sneakers, and sandals are adorable mark makers and easy to store. It's the season for yard sales also. Have fun looking and think of me!!

    Glue two pieces of inexpensive fun foam together. Take a ballpoint pen and draw a design into the fun foam. Voila! You've just made your very own stamp. 😀

    I hope I can find a Lego platform. It makes such cool marks! Great tutorial, Karen. Looks like I too would use my handwriting stamp block because I too have taken my rubber off mine and kept it.

      cheryl7476 Cheryl. If you can’t find in dollar store, there is a link in my amazon influencer store or you may find it in garage sales. When put on top of other colors it really makes interesting designs. Karen

      Just thinking of the stamps you find at Goodwill and Salvation Army.
      I often don't care for the stamps but now I might get some and use the wooden part to use with homemade stamps made with these kind of things.

    Looking for your video on how to easily peel a layer of the cardboard, it always takes so long picking off the little bits that are still there after peeling!

    What if you are using a stamp pad instead of some kind of paint? Does that work as well?

    • @KarenBurchill
      @KarenBurchill  2 роки тому +1

      I prefer using paint but you can use some of these with ink....Depending on mark maker you will get a variety of quality of stamps....try and see if what you get works for you. I find using stamp pads gives lighter marks overall but maybe my pad is not as juicy. K
