    I ordered some stamps from Karlyn because I want to try this landscape technique. Surprise! I got a phone call from a gentleman who handles the business end of the enterprise and he told me I had clicked the same item twice and did I really want two of them or did I make a mistake? Yes, I made a mistake and I would have been upset to find two stamps the same in my order. Every other place I order from would have gone ahead and sent me two and billed me. This is what I call the good old fashioned way to do business with honesty and integrity. I was so pleased I raved about it all night to my Son. Two thumbs up for Karlyn. :) Thank you.

    Talented artist. Your painting certainly reflects your freedom loving personality. I have searched for artist to learn from and you are the one. I have finally found someone with creativity and know how. Love your approach. By the way, I will be ordering your publications and watching for DVD's. Until then, does anyone know what brand of watercolor paint Karlyn uses?

    • @lucytyson6275

      +Meilynn Hoe Karlyn uses mostly Daniel Smith and Winsor Newton watercolors, she has 14 videos about an hour long each, on Artistsnetwork.tv they are very detailed and she explains everything and is very enjoyable to watch. It costs 19.99 a month to join but they have hundreds of videos on all types of mediums to watch 24/7 if you want, its on demand.

    I had to wait out 17 minutes of commercial to get to this video. Not nice UA-cam. My answer is to set my timer, set the video mute and go and do something else until commercials are over and timer goes off. And I will never, ever purchase what ever product is being promoted.

    • @KarlynsGallery
      @KarlynsGallery  5 років тому

      I'm sorry you had to wait so long! Usually you are able to "skip" the advertisements after 5 seconds of play. Thank you for your patience.

    don't you think this is cheating? nice technique though.

    • @KarlynsGallery
      @KarlynsGallery  7 років тому +4

      There are many tools that may be called cheating. Stencils are also similar. Adding napkins with wild or detailed pictures also may fit this category. For us, its all about having fun and you can make it as challenging as you want it to be and that fits your experience level. This is for all levels and ages.

    • @KarlynsGallery
      @KarlynsGallery  5 років тому +2

      Maybe a little. lol. but its so much fun! Don't you agree?

  • @robertg786
    @robertg786 5 років тому

    Rubber stamps? Hummmm. I guess if that works for you...but it reaks of cheating. Just saying.

  • @thepotlady
    @thepotlady 7 років тому +1

    OMGosh! I have never been so inspired! I don't think anything is "cheating" in art, because the person still has to know what they're doing. Karlyn, I absolutely love your art... just love it. Thank you for sharing. Debbie
