built my first keeb today and i gotta say it was fun. it is a tofu 65 with pcb and case foam, switch foam, gateron milky yellows with krytox 205 g0 and 206 g0 stabs, filmed using kbd fans films and with octopus keycaps. im so glad i found you because if i didnt i would not have had the expeirience like this and i just wanted to say i love your content and hope you are doing good!
you always seem very happy and kind. thats why i like watching this content on the channel.

hi i have a d60 ansi v2 hotswap. It lights up but it doesnt type. When i press esc the color stays the same and then makes an unplugging sound, does anyone know how to fix this????

i have an idea for a keyboard mod: you should use cotton balls. instead of polyfil
The two key osu thingy was one of the first mechanical keyboards I looked at. A few osu gamers reviewed it and kind of said it was garbage. I'm glad I ended up not buying one
I think its 1000hz, so maybe its good
@@xxbatat4xx The thing is too small and light to be usable for rhythm games (osu). You have to use adhesive to keep it in place, which isn't practical if you like adjusting where it sits or use a deskmat.
I'm sure it fills some sort of niche. It just doesn't meet any of my needs as a rhythm game controller.

Hi Betty, finally getting a mechanical keyboard (rk61 or rk68). Can you tell me which base color is better/more versatile for modding with other keycaps? I havent aeen that covered in any vids. I mean style wise. Is a black base generally a better and more versatile background color for most keycap mods?

White would be more suitable for a lot of keycaps but if you get it in a darker colour, imo it would only look good on dark keycaps like red samurai tone or WoB keycaps but on the other hand on white, the majority of the keycaps will fit better

@@mebutinspace1934 You really can't go wrong either way since color choice is all personal preference.. But you'll soon realize that if you buy the white one, next you'll need a black keyboard. After that, you'll want to try something like an acrylic rgb keyboard like the womier. Then the next keyboard will be something more sensible like a dark grey or navy. And before you know it, you have a closet/drawer full of keyboards and that just isn't enough space to hold all of the others you NEED.

Hey switch and click i was wondering if you could try my new mod for a cheap keyboard challenge. You could instead if using foam you could use a thin layer of foam and some paper to hopefully make it thock (hotdog mod). I can't try this since I have a membrane keyboard😅 and I dream of having a mechanical one 😇
Should be interesting to see how good/bad it'll be - I'll just stick to Amazon for my low-to-mid keyboard kit addiction - at least that way I know I won't have to pay any huge price for shipping. Or if I'm feeling "saucy" I'll splurge for an order off of KBDFans and cringe at $30 for shipping but it'll show up in about a week....
I nearly ordered a keyboard with 70usd shipping (100aud for me), but then I ordered from another vendor for 20 dollars less shipping which was still an absurd amount
@@liwendeng6923 Very much an absurd amount indeed and I agree. We're spoiled here in the US with many items shipping for free or little cost but to get what you may really desire it could take weeks or be expensive to ship or both. A few years ago I would order things from China (electronic project kits) that were a couple of dollars (USD) and shipping would be only a few cents - shipping would often take a couple months or some times five or six - I would forget about them and they would show up as surprise - I would have to go back in my eBay history to see when I'd ordered.
