I mostly use that keypad for photoshop hotkeys, honestly its a lot more convenient especially with the joystick, I can freely move the canvas without touching the mouse.
I bought one of these. I never end up using it. It feels really touchy, and I accidentally click the buttons. Also, the looseness never goes away long term. I can tighten it, but it loosens again. You can definitely tell the entire thing was 3D printed, and that makes the price feel really steep. I like the stick, but I found the rest hard to use. Maybe if I kept using it and my hands adjusted, but I'm no violin player. My left hand is not graceful.
I reckon this keyboard is meant to be used with a keymapping software, to make key "chords" instead of mapping actions to individual buttons. out of just 5 buttons you can get a lot of combinations, each of which can control an action on your computer.
I got the Azeron Cyborg and I LOVE IT! It takes about 2 weeks to really adjust but if you set the main keys to WASD instead of using the thumb stick for movement, you adjust a lot faster. It’s super comfortable and you can set up a profile for each game so you don’t have to remap your actual controls. I would really love to see you use this more and give it a full test!

I don't have the version shown in the video, I have the compact version instead. It is possible to type with this, since it has 22 keys, you can use the stenograph method, however, that's a whole new level for typical typist to adapt to..
Stenography also needs N-key rollover (though I've heard steno people be pretty excited about how Gaming has made NKRO a mainstream feature, so maybe it already is...)
I don’t particularly enjoy unboxing videos but your voice is so sweet and you sound like your enjoying yourself so this just makes me happy to see you happy ^
a very old keyboard I saw once was similar to this device in that you slide your fingers into slots and there are buttons to press when you move your finger down, extend your finger or curl your finger (ever so slightly to trigger the press). This keybaord I am referring to looked a lot like a wavy ergo keyboard (the kind that convex in the center to force your wrists to splay more naturally) EXCEPT here were just 8 holes and a space/ctrl/alt keys . You put your finger into the holes and type a U by extending your index finger upward. Type a Y by extending upward and to the side, press H by moving your index finger leftward. By the time I discovered its existence it seemed the product was not available anywhere I looked but I've always wanted to try it out for typing. I am about 120-130wpm now but without the travel distance I am guessing I could get to 150 or more. My challenge now, is that I never use the left shift to type, and I always slam that backspace, and when I'm typing content I am constantly using the up/down/left/right and the home/end/PgUp/PgDown keys to navigate. I also imagine it would be difficult to copy/paste with shortcut keys.

I love my Azeron Cyborg. Had it a couple months now. You want to blow your brain, try doing a reverse grid key layout where you put the left most grid key on your left index finger and go left on the keypad from there so that you're stronger fingers hit the more commonly used keys, with the screen grid going left to right, but your hand grid going right to left. After several weeks I think I'm finally starting to get a handle on it. Overall I love the cyborg and it is a worthy successor to my Logitech G13 that has been out of production for some time now. I especially love how much you can do with the thumb: joystick for movement, then five more assignable buttons on the hat. Oh, and getting Rewasd is a must. The Azeron software is good, but Rewasd takes it to the next level with assigning different keys to holds, double, and triple clicks.
