There is only 1 keyboard that I’ll ever use and that is the Microsoft Natural 4000. I buy pretty much every one I see at thrift stores. The keys just melt in your fingers like butter and all of the extra buttons are great for macros
I've just gotten done modding the hell out of my red dragon k552 -3 layers of tape -quarter inch of memory foam -akko CS greens lubed with engine greece (actually sounds good) -stock stabs with enough lube to cover another 4 boards (no joke) and some tape to stop them from rattling around -erased logo Overall the board actually sounds kinda thocky

HEY, I'll have you know that the Tartarus v2 is friggin awesome and helpful af if you're an artist >:) it's so much easier to deal with PS shortcuts when you have a separate smol keyboard to handle all the macros
I went from cheap Dell membrane to Havit membrane to Dell Quietkey and a Steelseries Apex Pro. I really like full size boards so that's why I still use prebuilts but still from the cheap stuff to the real thing.
ergonomic keyboards are the way to go trust me (the keys are divided up like on a split keyboard but its all on one board instead of two. I cannot use regular keyboards anymore because they make my wrists hurt so bad)
Razer Orbweaver - is what I use for gaming and video editing. Soldered on some lubed Cherry MX Speed Silver switches in favour of the stock Razer Green switches The D-pad also allows me to use my thumb for more than just ALT and Space. Corsair K70 MK.2 SE - is for everything else. Working with numbers a lot, and playing simulator games, having a full-sized keyboard is a must. Media keys is also something I use a lot. As far as modifications go, I've swapped out all the keycaps, spray painted the bottom half, added foam for noise reduction, and made the cable detachable by cutting the fixed one and soldering it on to a USB-C breakout board.
@@tauntyyt I mean, you could make a part featuring retro keyboards with the likes of Model Fs or Dell Bigfoot. The barrel for those is basically bottomless.

Waiting on my first mechanical keyboard. Bought a redragon 617 fizz. Wanted a Royal Kludge but I couldn't fit it under 70 euro with a mouse so I had to find something less expensive. Will see how it goes, honestly as long as it's decently comfortable to use I'm good with it.
Me with a 122 Key Keyboard: I compensate for my lack of patience of going inside the UA-cam Tab to pause the video when I can just press a button and do it while playing my games.
i have the hyperx alloy fps pro and to be honest, any hyperX alloy something is a really basic and good option (at least for me) EDIT; i meant core origins, that kind of keyboards
I used an apple magic keyboard for 10 years. It's actually really, really nice. The best membrane keyboard I've used. Now I've got some Varmillo mechanical keyboard my grandparents got me. I don't have much to say about it, it works, is comfortable, and does not mis-input.
I like the Razer Tartarus v2, I got it pretty cheap and has helped me a lot. I struggle playing with mouse and keyboard, but now it's getting very easy. Though, i am going to replace my primary keyboard for writing with Logitech Pop Up Key, I just like the round edges and I already use a Logitech mouse, so I won't have to download any additional programs for the keyboard.
to be fair the knock off brand keyboards really don't differentiate all that much, maybe the quality or feel of the keyboard, but other than that - they're not half bad

The redragon one, I actually upgraded from my razer cynosa chroma (which is a membrane) and my current one is still the redragon k552 (which is my second kb, 1st is cynosa if you can't already tell.) and it is the blue switch addition bc I thought I liked it and I actually kind of do, but the switches either are bad or I just get them dirty.
That Anne Pro part was scarily accurate, the only thing wrong was that I seen a different Anne Pro video. I got lost in the rabbit hole and now I hate 60% and my Anne Pro feel like garbage. Comparison if the thief of joy.
