I watched the videos on The Ultimates #1 and it's not bad. I loved how Hank Pym tried to hide sphere that Tony Stark gave him from his wife Janet Van Dyne because he was afraid of becoming exactly like his 1610 counterpart. But other than that, I can't wait to see how the Ultimates will retaliate against the Maker's Ultimate Illuminati.

Wow, I've never liked Hank Pym as much as in this comic (except maybe for EMH). He's a broken person who's affraid of the bad things he could do, and he has the chance to do them right (really hope they don't end ruin him).
It's very interesting seeing these versions of the heroes that, unlike Spider-Man, are self-conscious of how things (including them) should be, I think it will be specially hard to Doom to look how his live could've been.
I don't think the dialogue is bad at all, maybe a little cheesy but for god's sake HAVE YOU READ A BOOK WRITTEN BY DAN SLOTT???
I really want to know what happened to Ultimate Hawkeye.
Oh, and the giant footstep was pretty cool, tbh
Edit: Oh Shit, I just noticed Hank's fumigation suitcase is shaped like Ultron.

Not as good as Xmen, Spider-Man, or the Black Panther.
    Still an ok read.
