When you have a billionaire this excited to invest in your business you don't hesitate i'm surprised he even let her get a second chance to say yes but God i've never seen mark want a company that much on the show
it's a good company. health stuff aside, more and more people are going dairy-free, animal-free, and the like
he saw the profit margin being 10x and that was it. that she sold it for such a low evaluation blew me away esp when it was already getting picked up by globally. also im shocked to hear how cheap all this expensive "healthy" stuff is. since when was dairy bad? and how does she sweeten the ice cream? it must be artificial since she prob thinks pure sugar is bad too. and it probably has soy in it aswell, yuck
Perhaps the way he pressured her is the exact reason why she shouldn't have taken the deal. Billionaire yes but doesn't mean he's the best shark for the deal.

I disagree, imo she got shafted. When a billionaire investor is this keen on investing in your business you don't just jump on the first offer he throws at you. The ultimatum was clearly a bluff she should have called. Luckily Kevin was there or she would have been robbed of even more equity...

It also has to do with the fact that Mark Cuban doesn’t eat dairy so this is the perfect t product for him because it gives him the taste of ice cream without the dairy
This is not the first time I see Mr Wonderful do that move matching the offer so they need to go lower..... Im starting to understand the mentality behind it and I think its a pretty cool move by him when he really likes the idea.
He does that all the time. Like when he makes a ridiculous offer, at first I thought he was just being greedy but usually he's just making a point. Like the offers are just a tactic he doesn't expect them to accept.

In Shark Tank you either go with Mark or Lori, always the best and safest bets
Kevin is the guy when you want to give a smaller amount of your company in exchange for a loan, so long term you end up with a bigger piece of the pie and if it's successful you get more of the revenue.

Mark wanted that deal big time and you can tell the entire time she was talking he was glued to her. And plus he very rarely ever gives them another chance to make a decision. It's unfair not to let them hear the other offers but in all honesty he was the most passionate about her product and he's the right choice.

Kevin really does get a good deal for companies even if he knows he wont't get it, anytime he says "squeeze their heads" He knows that shark can do good but doesn't want the company to lose tons of equity.

Coconut is one of those that you ignore the calories thereof. The fat is healthy and if they're not GMO, coconut is just incredible for your body. Coconut oil can keep your palate and stomach satisfied, it can condition your hair, moisturize your skin and you also get so many other great things in it. I mean, it's used for medicine. The shells are used for so many things, and the fibers are real tough. It's one of the perfect plants.
Much hate in the comments on Mark steamrolling this deal, but damn when a billionaire is that passionate about you to the point of standing up then you don't turn him down. He gave her the option to listen the other sharks at the expense of him going out, but she either wanted him or she didn't. I've never seen Mark so enthusiastic about a deal and she only gave up an extra 2% more

It is really aggressive. But that's business. When Mark sees a business that he really wants to invest in, he will get that aggressive. Because he doesn't want anyone else in the Tank to get a piece of the pie.

her numbers are fake she claimed shes making them for 1$ and she could get it down to 50 cents but she has maple syrup cacao nibs dates walnuts almond butter in her ingredients its literally impossible to make it for that with those ingredients

Cuban knows how big tech and healthy clean eating space is right now.
And if he sees the entrepreneur, who is responding to question clearly, he know that one is going to drive the business out of the ball park with all the machinery and money Cuban has.

I have seen him excited about the product but the person completely lost or not being truthful, he gave up on that.

They're all great, but my favorite is Kevin by far. He's honest when he sees a good or bad business and has helped more inventors by driving offers down than most people probably realize.

So many people get starstruck at the word "billionaire." That doesn't guarantee the pitchers' success. But kudos to her counter and to Kevin. Mark bullies deals b/c he is inferior or thinks he's better than everyone. He says he likes decisive people, but I doubt if he made 'whim' decisions because he was pressured to.

Coconut ice cream is very popular in the Philippines. We actually call it "dirty ice cream" because it is sold in the streets; Believe it or not, we actually sandwich it using a burger bun, Ultimately I am glad it is getting global attention.

If someone puts a time crunch on a deal, don’t take the offer. It’s almost always a bluff - and, even if it’s not, you don’t want to do business with someone that uses shady, pressure tactics.
Just like how Mark’s first ultimatum was a bluff - she probably could have gotten a better deal if she had rejected the second ultimatum too. Especially since multiple sharks were very interested.
I think it is implied when she made an offer to go to 20% to Mark, that if he accepted it the deal is done. That is why Mark stood up ...
