I love that humbleness. Admitting that he may have made a mistake and pursuing them with a deal was extremely cool.
I'm pretty sure what drove him is greed for profit and not humbleness. Respectable indeed though that he admitted his mistake publicly and doesn't try to play Mr Oh-so-cool.
@@spliffi869 They had no deal, walked away with nothing and left the room. I’m pretty sure at that point when he showed up they would’ve accepted any deal desperately, he did not use that, he did not even take more than %10, there is no way you can call that greed..

But I can confidently say, for EU/AUS viewers the way our versions of the show goes is much more focused on the product and people rather than cringey pitches and forced ego drama from Sharks. I guess that's why we have our versions of the show in the first place tbh.

I was so shocked they didn't get an offer at first because this is a good product and I dont think they should pass on it just because it's too early. They actually should jump on it now when they can invest only 100k coz this product has so much potential and needs a shark. Thank God Nirav saved the day.

I feel like kids would get bored by this pretty quickly. And I don't think you can just draw on anything in the house, that gets anoying too for parents having to clean all the time.
Nirav only went in in the end because he felt bad, not because he really was into the product. That would've been a red flag for me!
Right?? I mean obviously the sharks know a toooon more than I do when it comes to this, but their main points were that it was too early and they needed to get on social media. If the biggest issue is getting on social media, well a) the sharks have social platforms and b) that sounds like a relatively easy issue to solve compared to others that have pitched on the show
Nirav is so good on this show. So humble and a terrific speaker. And best of all he replaced Barbara.

Idk about genuine but he did kinda scammed them . At first he said dont take investments you don't need it , get yourself a mentor and then he got guaranteed 200k and apart from that he owns 10% of the company as well . He made a smart move from himself , he did help them but also get a good amount in his pocket .

it’s a great idea. it would do great in daycares preschools etc. to me kids are already germy but kids around other kids are even worse so making something that’s not fun to them more like a art project will make them more prone to wanting to wash their hands even when they don’t need to.

I love this product!! I will definitely be buying some of them. My daughter doesn't like to wash her hands for the right amount of time but with this she absolutely would. I'd also buy some for my nieces & nephews for sure! Love it! Amazing job Nirav for running out there & offering them a deal!

why is everyone talkig about timeframe. The second the soap touches the bacteria, its done. the problem is people dont wash the finger tips and really get soap under the fngernails. Just bring your kids to interlock their hands and you're safe

I'm pretty sure Crayola has something very similar to this. My kids have some soap pens for the bathtub like this, and I'm pretty sure they're Crayola. Might be wrong though.

This is brilliant idea for a product. Young artists can create henna like designs on their skin and actually get clean at the same time. I'm glad they got an offer in the end.

This is one of the best and most clever products I have ever seen pitched in the tank, the sharks must've been high for not investing!
The product really needs to be refined if you ask me, having bought it. Was tough to write with consistently. Kids loved it, when the roller-point of the pen wrote.
It's not like they can just magic a marketing team out of thin air. When they say it's too early, it's it's too early to just add money. These entrepreneurs didn't have an answer to a basic marketing question, and it's clear that they're great scientists and ingenious engineers and are very new to business. The larger company as a whole needs staff to get off from that launch point. $100k investment from Nirav basically just pays a marketer for a year, and if the product falls through after that, they're sunk.

IF they can sell 200k units he'll double his money. That's a big IF and that's the risk he's taking for that return.

I love this video, not for the pitch, but rather the amazing advice all of the sharks gave to these women. The advice they gave is useful for anyone trying to make it in business.

What a nice, humble, and polite guy!
Surprising that nobody asked them about wether they hold a patent on it or not; there are many other sharks outside the tank.
There are a few easy ways to patent something simple like this. Them being on the show is already the first protection. The easiest and cheapest way to “patent” something is to mail yourself the idea so you have a postal office time stamp.

Very respectable women, they let the product speak for itself. Good job.
This is such a great product not just for kids at home, but in schools! Along with selling the soapen, they could sell colored/scented foaming soap to schools so kids will have a more fun experience even there. They could sell pocket sanitizers too. Or like how Crayola has the 12 box of crayons? They could do a 12 box of soapens with all different scents. Or even unscented ones for more sensitive children. How fun would that be for bath time?
as an adult i lowkey want this haha. it would add another layer to my shower arguments/concerts/thoughts/general showering
The irony is they actually never truly realized the deal and had a falling out behind the scenes, Nirav backed out, but had to look good for the cameras. The business itself struggled to make profit and expand.
Unless the product is really bad you often see Sharks feeling obligated to help “their people” or else it’s bad optics.

It could be difference in lights . Indian media use alot of lights to look lighter as indians are usually darker whereas Caucasians are super pale if they start using indian lights they will look like ghosts.
How you say things matter. This is the same deal Kevin offers often and people decline it.
