HOW TO MAKE RED VELVET COOKIES
INGREDIENTS:
210g Plain Flour
2 tsp cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
½ fine salt
125g Unsalted Butter, softened
90g Caster Sugar (we use in all our cakes)
90g Dark Brown Soft Sugar
1 Medium Free Range Egg
1 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract
19g tube Red Gel Colouring
150g white chocolate, chopped into chunks

We found this recipe on a Waitrose Recipe Card and its a great version of a cookie for all the family.
but remember these are red and sweet so how about making them for special occassions too, like Christmas or Valentines Day.

These are absolutely delicious. We have since made another 2 batches and they don’t last long. The kids love them and so do we with a nice cup of tea. Hope you enjoy them as much as we do xx

It’s a great and way to make recipe. Make the batch in bulk and freeze for later use.
